7 Then I Won't Be Polite

It's been a week, my big sister has returned to Uncle John to continue her training.

And today I am going to the mountain to meet my little cute friend. I am excited to meet her and teach her about the magic that I learned.

As I could not tell my parents that I am a third-circle mage. They would be too shocked and... I really can't handle their drama.

After finishing my breakfast, I quickly headed towards the mountain.

[Third Person POV]

As Frank made his way up the mountain, his anticipation grew.

He was eager to meet Aisha and share his knowledge of magic with her.

However, as he approached the meeting spot, he noticed a guard standing beside Aisha.

Frank paused for a moment, unsure of how to proceed.

He didn't want to intrude or cause any trouble. But before he could decide what to do, Aisha spotted him and waved him over.

"Frank, over here!" Aisha called out with a bright smile, her voice carrying through the air.

Encouraged by her warm welcome, Frank walked towards them.

Aisha turned to the guard and said, "This is the boy who saved me from the wolves, and he's going to teach me magic. Mother has invited him for tea to thank him properly."

The guard nodded and acknowledged Frank with a nod of his own before stepping back slightly, maintaining a watchful presence.

Aisha linked her arm with Frank's and guided him towards a luxurious wagon nearby. "Come, let's have a cup of tea together," she said, her voice filled with gratitude.

Frank hesitated for a moment, feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness.

He had never been in such a grand setting before, and he wondered about the identity of the person Aisha had mentioned as her mother.

Curiosity getting the better of him, he followed Aisha into the wagon.

As they settled in, he couldn't help but glance out the window and catch a glimpse of the sprawling mansion before him.

It was a sight that took his breath away.

Finally, they arrived at a beautiful garden, and there, seated in a chair, was a stunning woman with long silver hair, holding a delicate cup of tea in her hands.

Frank couldn't help but feel a mix of awe and nervousness as he approached.

Lady Celeste, dressed in an elegant gown, exuded an air of grace and sophistication.

Her emerald-green eyes held a warmth that softened her features, and her welcoming smile put Frank at ease.

"Welcome, Frank," Lady Celeste greeted him, her voice gentle and soothing. "Thank you for protecting my daughter. Please, join us for some tea."

But Frank could feel that the lady in front of him was more mysterious than looked.

He could tell that she was a powerful mage that was concealing her power.

Frank wondered what could be the identity of the person in front of him.

Aisha introduced the lady in front of Frank, "Frank, this is my mother, Celeste Olivia Walker."

Frank's eyes widened in astonishment as Aisha introduced her mother as Celeste Olivia Walker, the renowned Witch and the kingdom's first eighth-circle magician.

He couldn't believe his ears. The stories he had heard about Lady Celeste's extraordinary magical abilities suddenly seemed all the more real and awe-inspiring.

"You're... Lady Celeste Olivia Walker?" Frank stammered, his voice filled with a mix of surprise and reverence. "The legendary Witch, the eighth-circle magician?"

Lady Celeste smiled, her eyes gleaming with amusement. "Yes, dear boy, that is my true identity," she confirmed, her voice carrying a sense of power and wisdom. "But please, call me Aunt. No need for formalities."

Frank felt a rush of excitement and nervousness.

He had never imagined that he would be sitting in the presence of someone so esteemed and powerful.

He couldn't help but feel a sense of unworthiness.

"I... I'm honoured to meet you, Lady Celeste, uh, Aunt," Frank stuttered, struggling to find the right words. "I've heard incredible tales of your magical prowess. It's a privilege to be here."

Lady Celeste's smile widened, and she extended a hand towards Frank. "The pleasure is mine, Frank," she said warmly. "Aisha has told me about your bravery in protecting her. It seems you possess a touch of magic yourself."

Frank blinked in surprise, not expecting such a remark. "Oh, it was nothing, really," he replied modestly, although inwardly his heart swelled with pride. "I just did what I could to keep Aisha safe."

Celeste nodded, her gaze filled with a knowing look. "Sometimes, it's the simplest acts of courage that make the greatest difference," she said, her voice filled with a depth of understanding.

On the surface, she appeared to be calm and all-knowing but she was in disbelief when she saw Frank.

As she, an eight-circle mage wasn't able to tell how many circles the boy had.

There was no doubt that the boy, right in front of her was nine years old as she examined him. But she could not sense an ounce of magic from him.

"Frank, would you mind showing me the spell that you used to kill the wolves." She asked Frank.

Frank nodded to her request and raised his hands towards the tree that was thirty metres away from them.

And soon a stone drill was made, spinning at a very fast speed and

Swoosh!

The stone drill was launched at a very fast speed and precise through the tree as if it was butter.

The drill didn't stop there, it continued to precise through the trees behind them until it collided with the wall.

'Shoot! I forget to manage its speed. They won't arrest me because I destroyed their garden, will they?' Frank was regretting his decision of showing his full power.

Meanwhile, lady Celeste was utterly shocked. She didn't even feel any magic before the drill was ready. It was as if it happened naturally.

And besides the spell just now was around the third-circle and without an incantation.

'How is he so strong? He is not only a third-circle mage but could use magic without chants. That even I could barely do."

"Frank, that was truly impressive," Lady Celeste exclaimed, her eyes wide with astonishment. "Not only did you exhibit the power of a third-circle mage, but you also cast the spell without the need for any incantation. It's a feat that even I struggle to achieve."

Frank blushed at the praise, feeling a mix of pride and humility. "Thank you, Lady Celeste," he replied, his voice filled with a mixture of excitement and disbelief. "I've been practising magic diligently since I discovered my abilities. It's an honour to have impressed you."

Aisha, who had been observing the exchange with admiration, chimed in, unable to contain her excitement. "Frank, you're amazing! I knew you were special when you saved me, but this... this is incredible!"

Lady Celeste nodded, her expression turning thoughtful. "Indeed, Frank, you possess a rare and remarkable talent," she said, her voice carrying a note of curiosity. "I have never encountered a young mage with such innate power and control. It seems there is much we can learn from each other."

Frank's eyes widened in surprise. He had never expected to receive such an offer from the legendary Witch herself.

The idea of learning from someone as esteemed as Lady Celeste was both exhilarating and daunting.

"I... I would be honoured to learn from you, Lady Celeste," Frank responded, his voice filled with determination. "To be able to enhance my magical abilities under your guidance would be a dream come true."

Lady Celeste smiled warmly, a glimmer of excitement in her eyes. "Call me Aunt, young Frank," she said, her tone gentle yet firm.

To which Frank nodded and they begin to talk about magic.

As the conversation between Frank and Lady Celeste unfolded, time seemed to slip away unnoticed.

The warm afternoon sun cast a golden glow over the garden as they delved into the intricacies of magic.

Frank shared his unique breathing technique, explaining how it enhanced his spellcasting abilities.

Aisha tried to use it but she could not. Lady Celste also wanted to try but she could not because of her previous breathing technique.

As time went by Lady Celeste remembered something, "Oh my, I remembered something. Well, then I will take my leave."

Just as she left, an arrogant voice came from behind Frank.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the fraud magician who is trying to scam my sister."

Frank turned around to see where the voice was coming from

A fourteen years old boy was standing there holding his sword.

"Well, what can we accept from a lowly commoner."

"Brother, don't be rude to him. He's my saviour and a guest. How can you be so disrespectful?" Aisha scolded him.

"Lil'sis you're still too young, you don't understand the world. He is just a fraud trying to get close to you. I don't even feel an ounce of magic from him. How can he be a mage? Besides he is too young, anyways."

Aisha pouted hearing his brother's words, "He is not a fraud, I saw him use magic with my own two eyes."

"Ok, if he can use magic, why don't we have a duel." Alex continued to provoke.

"I am sorry but I could not fight you," He decline as he was afraid of hurting Alex.

"I understand your concerns, but I have no intention of fighting or proving myself through a duel," Frank replied firmly, his voice steady.

"My purpose here is to share knowledge and learn from Lady Celeste. If you have doubts about my abilities, I'm sorry, but I cannot force you to believe."

Aisha stepped forward, placing herself between Frank and her brother. "Alex, please, let's not argue. Frank saved my life, and I trust him," she pleaded, her voice tinged with frustration.

Alex crossed his arms, a scowl on his face. "You're just a naive child, Aisha. You don't understand the world. I won't stand by and let you be fooled by some impostor."

'Once I defeat that impostor. Aisha would believe his big brother and hug me, right?' He is a total sis con.

"As expected of a lowly bastard. Your parents would be like this too. Cowards that don't know anything but to lick Nobles shoes." As he kept declining, Alex resorted to provoking Frank and it worked.

"Then I won't be polite." He said with a smile but behind that was a big rage.
