36 Bringing Seele(NoteBook) to make Bronya happy

Luo Mo, a man of deep contemplation, found himself engrossed in the pages of a notebook that was brimming with an unmistakable girlish charm. After immersing himself in the words and sentiments etched onto the pages, he felt a stirring within him, prompting him to pick up his pen and add his own thoughts to the narrative.

"Seele?" he wrote, his handwriting surfacing on the page as if by magic. Time seemed to stand still as he waited for a response.

Suddenly, a new set of handwriting appeared on the page. [Ah! Why would someone else's handwriting appear on the notebook? Is it just my eyes? That, may I ask who you are?]

"I'm your Bronya-san!" Luo Mo replied, his heart pounding with anticipation.

[You are, Sister Bronya?] The words appeared on the page, filled with disbelief and confusion.

"Yes," Luo Mo confirmed, "the entire orphanage's flower girls are Bronya's, and Seele, you're no exception. That's why I went through a lot of trouble to find this prop that can talk to you."

[Huh, the whole… The whole orphanage? No, it won't work, you, you're not Sister Bronya! It's not!] The words were filled with denial and fear.

"But Rosalia and Lilia love me," Luo Mo continued, "and Sin Mal pushed me down because Sickly liked me too much. Even Cocolia's mom took me out on missions early on. You see, it's kind of annoying that everyone likes me."

"But Seele," he added gently, "you like me too, right?"

[… Uh-huh? You, are you really Bronya-san?] The words were hesitant but filled with hope.

"Have you forgotten that you went to your bedroom every night to warm your body and mind? On the cold snowy plains, we relied on each other tightly. In the narrow quilt, leaning on each other's body for warmth. Your body was always cold. I was afraid that your body would catch cold."

[Bro-, Bronya-san! Stop saying that!] The words were filled with embarrassment but also a hint of affection.

[Seele believes that you're Sister Bronya now] The words appeared on the page, filled with acceptance and trust.

Luo Mo was taken aback. He hadn't expected his casual remark to have such an impact. He hadn't realized how deeply his words would resonate with Seele.

[Sister Bronya, how are you now? How's your health?] The words were filled with concern and care.

"Of course I'm fine," Luo Mo reassured her. "And it'd be even better if I could see Seele!"

[Hey hey hey, by the way, did Bronya-oneechan find a way to save me?] The words were filled with hope and anticipation.

[Recently, a strange lord who serves instant noodles invited me to join an organization called the World Serpent. He promised that he would take me out to the Quantum Sea. So what should I do? Should I agree?] The words were filled with uncertainty and apprehension.

Luo Mo was taken aback by this revelation. When did Kevin start contacting Seele? Was he trying to steal Seele away from Bronya?

With a shake of his head, Luo Mo dismissed these thoughts. After all, he wasn't Bronya…

"Reject him, he can't be trusted," Luo Mo wrote with a sense of urgency. "Besides, Bronya has already found a way. Don't worry, Seele, wait for me!"

[Okay, Sister Bronya! I'll wait for you! By the way, Bronya-oneechan, I have company here, don't worry about me!] Seele's words were filled with trust and reassurance.

"Is it the personality inside? She likes Seele a lot too, right? After all, Seele is so cute!" Luo Mo wrote, his words filled with affection and warmth.

He couldn't help but chuckle to himself. "Hehehe, that's right, Seele is so cute! Second only to his favorite Theresa-sama."

[? Hey, Bronya-oneechan!] Seele's words appeared on the page, filled with confusion and curiosity.

[Bronya-sama, do you remember this notebook you gave me as a birthday present? I loved it!] Her words were filled with fond memories and affection.

"Really, that's good!" Luo Mo replied, feeling a sense of relief.

[… Who are you?] Seele's words appeared on the page again, this time filled with suspicion and doubt.

[Bronya-oneechan's gift to me was a Homu, she didn't give me a notebook!] Her words were filled with realization and betrayal.

"…" Luo Mo was at a loss for words.

"I'm Bronya's best friend." He finally managed to write.

[Seele won't trust you anymore!] Her words were filled with hurt and disappointment.

Suddenly, there was a knock on the door outside. "Bang-bang-bang-" The sound echoed in the room.

Luo Mo thought it was probably Bronya. With quick thinking, he tore off the notebook paper, crumpled it into a ball, and hid it in his pocket. He planned to dispose of it later.

The notebook was of high quality. It had a purple star rating. The torn pages disappeared instantly and the thickness of the notebook remained unchanged.

Luo Mo discovered that he seemed to possess some sort of control over the item. He was able to conceal the handwriting that originally existed in Seele's notebook.

As the knocking on the door grew more urgent, Luo Mo rose from his seat and went to open the door.

"Sister Bronya, ahem, Bronya, you're here!" Luo Mo exclaimed, his eyes meeting the sight of a petite figure floating in the air at the doorway.

The figure was of a silver-haired young girl, her soft hair adorned with two black bows and styled into spiraling double ponytails. Her small stature barely reached Luo Mo's chin, even as she hovered in the air.

Bronya, as she was called, wore a cold expression on her face. She skillfully evaded Luo Mo's hand that instinctively reached out to touch her soft hair. Luo Mo found himself questioning why his hand always seemed to have a mind of its own around young girls. He pondered over this briefly before conveniently blaming it on the system and dismissing the thought.

"Bronya, don't be so cold?" Luo Mo pleaded, hoping to see a change in her icy demeanor.

"… It's the reason for the experiment," Bronya responded, her gaze fixed on him but her expression remained unchanged.

"So what did you call me here for?" she asked, her voice echoing in the silent room.

"I have news of Seele!" Luo Mo blurted out.

"!!!?" Bronya's eyes widened in surprise. Her usually stoic face lit up with visible excitement at the mention of Seele's name.

"Lying and talking about the reason for the experiment." Luo Mo muttered under his breath, noticing Bronya's sudden change in demeanor.

"Then what about the news?" Bronya asked eagerly, reaching out to tug at Luo Mo's sleeve.

"Bronya, this." Luo Mo extended his hand to reveal a notebook.

"A notebook?" Bronya questioned, her eyes reflecting a glimmer of curiosity.

"Yes, it's a unique notebook that serves as a bridge to Seele's realm. You can communicate with her by inscribing your thoughts onto its pages," Luo Mo explained, his voice filled with a sense of wonder.

Overwhelmed with joy, Bronya eagerly reached for the notebook. She began to scrutinize it meticulously, her focus so intense that she seemed to have forgotten about her surroundings.

Observing her engrossed state, Luo Mo decided to give her some space. He made his way to the cafeteria to grab dinner, making sure to bring back an extra portion for Bronya who could use some nourishment.

Upon his return, he was met with a perplexed expression on Bronya's face. "What did you write in the book? Why does Seele keep not trusting Bronya now!" she demanded, her voice laced with frustration.

"No, I didn't write anything," Luo Mo defended himself.

"Really?" Bronya questioned, her tone laced with skepticism.

"Bronya, you don't believe me!" Luo Mo exclaimed in disbelief. He couldn't fathom why she would doubt an honest college student like him!

"Bronya, what makes you not believe me? This is about evidence!" Luo Mo retorted, feeling slightly wronged.

"Huh!" Bronya let out a small laugh, her lips curving into a smirk.

Luo Mo sighed inwardly. He realized that without providing Seele's method, his words held little weight at the moment.

"And the authenticity of this diary?" Luo Mo asked, hoping to steer the conversation in a different direction.

"There's no doubt about it! Even though she doesn't believe I'm Bronya, I believe she's Seele!" Bronya declared confidently.

"… I'll take this notebook! If you have any conditions, just mention them!" Luo Mo finally said, touching the tip of his nose in slight embarrassment.

Luo Mo found himself touching the tip of his nose, a hint of embarrassment creeping onto his face. "It's a bit embarrassing to admit, but I feel the progress of the game production is lagging," he confessed.

Bronya, with her typically impassive expression, looked puzzled. "What do you mean?" she asked. The pace of the game's development had seemed quite impressive to her. She was aware that the first four chapters of the game, including all aspects such as publicity, release, and voice acting, had been completed in just half a month.

Luo Mo elaborated, "The truth is, the faster we can progress with the game, the sooner we can rescue Seele. My initial plan was to reach a certain point in the game's progress within two months. Now, I want to expedite that timeline."

Bronya immediately perked up at the mention of rescuing Seele. "What can I do to help?" she asked eagerly.

Luo Mo explained, "All other aspects of the game are progressing well. The only area where we could use some help is with the voice acting…"

"I'll take care of it!" Bronya interjected enthusiastically. "I'll get Kiana, Mei, Fu Hua, and Himeko-sensei on board for the voice acting. They'll be more than willing to contribute to the project. Is that okay?"

"Absolutely! I'm looking forward to our collaboration!" Luo Mo responded with a smile.

"Likewise… Happy collaboration!" Bronya echoed his sentiment.

In the end, both parties were pleased with their agreement. Bronya was thrilled to have obtained the Seele Notebook, even though Seele didn't initially recognize her. Luo Mo, on the other hand, was delighted to have gained a dedicated collaborator in Bronya, who showed immense potential for growth. Both parties looked forward to a promising future.
