Once upon a time, there was a beautiful, flourishing world, filled with lush green forests and plentiful amazing creatures. In this wonderful world, humans thrived. Here, they worshipped their gods, learnt extraordinary magic, and built enormous megacities. However one day, with no warning and no reason why, their gods abandoned them. The world quickly fell to ruin as plants withered and animals starved. The world lost its energy and even magic, which humans had relied upon for millennia, became a scarce resource.
