Luna isn't just a simple girl. Others might perceive her as such but this book smart person is hiding something deep in her mind. She promised to hide it forever and lived as a normal person would but some force didn't want to waste such talent. One unlucky day, she found herself in a mysterious place untouched by the modern stuff she's familiar with. The people wear weird clothes, the houses looked old-style, and everything is so simple. It might look simple on the surface but that world had always been full of mysteries hidden deep within and waiting to be found. The place is just like her. She did her best to keep her secrets but the longer she lived there, the harder it is to hide her secrets in the dark. "There's no helping it, let's just embrace the truth," she uttered. "Keep it easy, young lady," a man in his deep, cold voice appeared behind. "Alright" "B-but get away from me" ------ Daily updates
The old man in blue robes walked in long strides towards Advanced Mage Quinn with his hands that trembled slightly. And some students outside had their heads peeking upon the doorway's destroyed special classroom.
"Mage Quinn! Did you just blow up the classroom? I know that you earnestly wanted to teach your students b-but this is just overboard!" he said.
That old man was the one who's always responsible when the teacher in front caused some ruckus. It's because he's the main Elder Mage responsible for maintaining all the special room's barrier spells. He even designated the uppermost floor to Advanced Mage Quinn as the latter's teaching was quite peculiar and he didn't want the other rooms downstairs to be also damaged.
His hands went on his forehead upon seeing how badly damaged the special classroom was. But Advanced Mage Quinn hastily waved his hands and shook his head. He didn't do it this time.
Although the students including Luna knew what happened, they kept silent as it was the Elder Mage they're talking about. It was for their teacher to explain the incident and wait for the mages to question them.
"You're wrong Elder Mage Faust, I'm not the one who blew up the room and I didn't expect that she would be able to," Advanced Mage Quinn said.
Elder Mage Faust who's busy inspecting the blown up walls suddenly looked towards his way. His eyebrow raised.
"Then who is she?" he asked.
Advanced Mage Quinn strode towards Luna in his glittering eyes and held both Luna's shoulders while standing at her back without asking for her permission. She didn't move an inch but her blank face could be seen in clarity.
'Here we go again,' she thought.
"Meet my new student, Lady Luna Noir sien Mendelevinn," Advance Mage Quinn said.
"M-mendelevinn? Oh, the last event's single battle winner! She b-blew up the room? Are you sure she is just a golden-tier badge holder?" Elder Mage Faust uttered.
Advanced Mage Quinn shrugged his shoulders. "At least until she cleared the test to be a senior student, she will remain as a golden-tier holder and we will not know the truth until then," he said.
Seeing the other students' gaze on Luna after remembering the incident and hearing their teacher's statement, the Elder Mage called out the two people.
"You two, go with me to the Archive's office. We have to report about what happened today," he said.
Hearing that, Advanced Mage Quinn stepped away from Luna's personal space and began talking to all his students.
"My dear students, you have to get out of this room for a while. I think you can just go straight towards the training area and wait for us there," he said.
All of them immediately followed his instructions though one student walked up to him. The student was Blair. Advanced Mage Quinn raised his eyebrow in wonder.
"Rosenheim, you don't have to play the role of a team partner yet," he said.
Blair shook his head. "We already know each other since the first day. I want to go with you," he said.
The Advanced Mage looked towards Luna who nodded to show that he's telling the truth. "You can go with us though I advise you don't get someone jealous in the future," he whispered.
He didn't say anything further than that and left Blair in the utmost confusion. He kept thinking about what the Advanced Mage meant.
"This way," the Elder mage said.
He knocked three times on the wooden two-way door and opened it after. It was a large study room full of bookshelves along with a man that stopped writing upon seeing them.
"You, here again, Quinn?" he said.
The two were close friends though the former couldn't believe how Quinn's visit to the Archive's room was getting more and more frequent each month. When his eyes roamed, he could feel from afar how stressed Elder Mage Faust had become with the head of the lower students' association's bizarre schemes.
'How stressful indeed. I'm somehow glad I didn't end up to his research and defense team,' he thought.
Then Advanced Mage Quinn shook his head with a smirk. "You're wrong in some part Linois. This time my female student accidentally blew up the entire room," he said.
Luna could feel the man's doubting gaze that went towards her and Blair's golden-tier badge. She avoided his gaze and pretended to look around the dark brown chandelier above the room. She let him wonder and didn't explain anything.
'It's not my fault. I doubted the room's structural integrity but our teacher insisted that it couldn't be destroyed by a student and a healer at that. But the man also seemed to not hear any news about the single event. Tsk, it seems like a healer dominating the event was still nothing compared to the news about the Honorary Master Mage,' Luna thought.
"A healer huh? Are you kidding me, Quinn?" he asked.
The man's deep blue eyes squinted, checking if the Advanced Mage was telling the truth.
"He's telling the truth, Mage Linois," Elder Mage Faust said.
"Why don't you let my student, Lady sien Mendelevinn try out her powers right here, hmm?" Advanced Mage Quinn said.
Advanced Mage Linois suddenly stood up from his seat. "Are you serious? Lady M-mendelevinn?" he uttered.
"U-hm, a student, I'm sien Mendelevinn in title only. Nothing more than that," Luna explained.
'Their gossiping nature can indeed let them think things through the roof!' Luna uttered.
The Elder Mage suddenly interrupted as the two men didn't seem to begin working what they came here for. They started acting like a child in front of the students of all times.
"Enough, enough, let's just record what happened, and allocate resources for me to fix that already," he said.
They stopped their chatters upon the elder's warning and went towards a small white pillar where a giant opened book was placed above. Luna could see the glittering yellow-colored magic that seemed golden though not as golden colored as her flames.
The man named Linois stood in front of it and summoned a magic circle. The book shone similar to the color that Luna saw and it began to flip the pages by itself. She peeked through and saw some letters that appeared on a page it stopped.
'Is it recording the happenings earlier?' Luna thought.
The man didn't ask any further about the situation earlier so it was the most plausible reason she could think of. Then the man looked towards her.
"This book can list what's happening in this building. Don't worry because it only sees the scenes like a person and is not able to peek through your mind and record how you did it," Advanced Mage Linois said.
He walked away after that and went back to the study table. "In case you're wondering, it will only work if the persons that caused it are here," he continued.
Luna stared at the book with glistening eyes. It was like a CCTV camera but still different in some areas. She continued to admire it until she heard him say,
"We'll report the incident to your guardian about what happened to let them know about it," he said.
In simple terms, he would report it to Akiro.
