3 Tomorrow

Eun Kyung's POV

"You just realized what you said, didn't you?" I said giggling.

"Ah. Right. I forgot. Sorry." She said and bit her lower lip out of humiliation. Seriously this girl.

"That's fine. Anyway, thank you for informing me," I said while smiling to show her that it's fine.

"Yah Ae Young-ah, It's really fine. I can just find another job you know. It's not like it'll be hard for me. Stop frowning, alright?" I said as soon as I saw her frowning and staring through the glass wall of this shop. Is she that affected about me not having a job?

"Ae-Youngie~ Don't be too frustrated. And, it's, it's not like, I'm, I'm interested, anyway." I said while trying hard not to sound like I really want the job.

"Choi Eun Kyung, you can fool anyone but not me. I know that this is what you want. This is your passion." She said sincerely.

"Well, it's not like we have a choice," I said, losing hope.

Ae Young now stared at the table. Aigoo.

She suddenly stood up while banging the table so loud that made me and the other customers flinch. She was looking at me as if she was examining my inner organs.

"You startled me! And why are you looking at me like that?" I said and drank my coffee to avoid her daunting look.

"Kyung-ah, what if we fake your documents?"

I nearly choked while drinking my iced macchiato.

So this is what she's been thinking and here I am worried about her being frustrated at my current state.

"Are you nuts? How am I supposed to do that?? And besides, it's too risky!" I exclaimed while trying to figure out where did she got that absurd idea.

"Choi Eun Kyung, what I mean here is, you can show them your marriage certificate with Jae Won. And frankly speaking here, you're still married since the divorce papers are still being processed, right? And I doubt that they'll bother checking your background thoroughly. From what I have heard, they need a new manager as soon as possible because they are about to launch their new album next week. This is your chance to break free from that jerk! Think about it!"

Ae Young's words hit me like a bucket of ice cold water.

She's right.

I can finally escape from the hell I am in.

It's like hitting two birds with one stone; having the chance to pursue my passion, and the freedom from dealing with Jae Won's crap.

And basically, our marriage is still valid since the divorce papers are not yet approved.

Hmm. I think it's worth a try.

I laid down my coffee and I look her in the eyes and said,

"I'll do it."

A smile formed on her lips as she heard my decision.

Let's get this bread.

-----

"Ae Youngie, how about this one?" I said as I showed her a pastel blue long-sleeve and a pair of black jeans.

"Yeah that looks good, and wear thick glasses to complete your librarian look," said Ae Young sarcastically.

"But this is the best outfit that I can think of! You know that I've only worn two styles in my entire life. It's either a gown I was forced to wear or my everyday casual clothes." I whined while putting the clothes back in the closet.

"I knew this would happen. Kyung-ah, be thankful because you have an awesome friend like me. Here, take this." said Ae Young while handing me a brown paper bag.

I took out the things inside.

Clothes.

A white single button blazer, a peach camisole, a pair of cream wide-leg trousers, and a pair of faux leather kitten heels. This girl is a fashion genius.

"Ae Youngie~ Thank you for this. You're such an angel." I said then flicked her forehead.

"Yah! You're supposed to be hugging me and not hurting me, you ungrateful brat," complained Ae Young.

"That's for troubling me to find an outfit when you already brought something. By the way, I'm to change into these. You, don't you dare touch anything or I'll kill you." I said jokingly and went straight to the dressing room.

----

"Eun Kyung, just always think positive, okay? Call me right away after your interview. Fighting!" said Ae Young and bid me goodbye.

I actually feel a bit anxious about this. What if I didn't get the job?

I shrugged and just reminded myself to give my best. My future relies on this.

I took a deep breath and nervously walk towards the door when my phone rang. As I was checking my bag, I bumped into something which turned out to be a guy around my age looking just as startled as I. He's wearing a pair of headphones and he seems to be in a hurry so I guess that's why he didn't saw me coming.

"Oh, I'm really sorry! I was not paying attention. Are you okay-- Noona?" he apologized.

"No worries. I'm fine." I said and smiled.

"Oh, okay. Uhm, is there anything that I can help you with? I work here, anyway." he said while scratching the back of his neck.

"Really? I'm actually looking for the CEO's office. I'm here for an interview. Do you know where it is?" I asked.

His expression changed from being embarrassed to a wide eye-smile.

"Ah! Pd-nim? Yes, I know where it is! Noona, let me lead the way." said the guy with a cute smile.

----

"Pd-nim? Excuse me. Someone's looking for you." he said as he knocked at a door with a sign 'Bang Shi Hyuk. Executive Producer. JinHit Entertainment.'

"Oh Jimin-ah! Let her in please. Thank you." said Mr. Bang.

He turned to me and smiled.

"Noona fighting!" he said with both his fist help up.

"Thank you! And oh, before I forgot, you are--?"

"Jimin, Park Jimin. Nice meeting you Noona!" he said, bowed to me and started to walk away.

As soon as I entered the room, my eyes can't help but notice how plain and simple the room is for a CEO.

"You must be Ms. Choi Eun Kyung?" someone suddenly said that made me jumped a little.

A man in his fifties appeared which I assume to be Mr. Bang.

He was holding a cup of coffee and a folder on his other hand.

"Yes, Sir. Annyeonghaseyo." I said and bowed to him.

"Please take a seat."
