13 Azure Light, Seriously Pretty.

"I felt that. A little." Nikolai boasted, but he clearly felt the impact behind her punch, his hands trembling. The punch was unlike anything he ever experienced.

"That's weird, I infused that punch with my Ki, so it should have hurt a lot." Momoyo teased him. She was happy that he managed to block one of her Ki infused attacks that usually instantly defeated all of her opponents. It was obvious he was made out of something different than the rest of them.

She glanced behind her and noticed that Yamato and Capt were unconscious.

'Miyako, take care of Yamato for me.' She sent a telepathic message to Miyako, surprising her, but she quickly did as she was told, and grabbed him.

On the other side, Gakuto and Moro were hiding behind a building,

"We need to get Capt!" Moro said, feeling anxious. While he knew Capt was lucky enough to survive on his own, they couldn't just leave him there.

"A-Are you dumb!? You want to get closer to Momoyo-senpai while she is like this!? Are you out of your mind!?" Gakuto whined. He pissed off Momoyo a few times before, and it ended up with a few broken bones for him. Specifically ribs, she stomped him to the ground in no time. Never will he tell her that she is beautiful, but her insides are ugly ever again.

"S-Stop crying, Gakuto, aren't you a man? Show off your 95 STR character. Show off your muscles!" Moro replied, almost shouting. He himself was scared, but he was trying to make Gakuto move, and it surprisingly worked.

Gakuto regained his confidence and flexed his muscles, "Oh, yeah, you are so right. The power of anime and muscles are on my side! I will be right back!" He dashed off while taking on the wind pressure with his body, grabbed Capt, and ran away again in one smooth movement.

"Perfect."

With all of the nuisances out of the way, Momoyo glared at the opponent in front of her.

With murderous intent, she slammed the ground in front of him, and instantly, the paved floor shattered with an astonishing force. The torrent of destruction pummeled straight ahead, sweeping shards of wood and stone into its overwhelming embrace and shattering them even further.

Just as the destructive wave neared him, he leaned backwards and dodged it with a clean motion, strands of wind barely touching his gorgeous long hair.

A gust of wind flew all around the area, almost catching Kazuko in the torrent.

"Wanko, we need to leave. It's too dangerous to be here." Miyako placed the fallen Yamato on the ground and deflected the air force with her hand.

"But...I want to see Niko-kun's and Nee-san's fight up close! I might pick up something from observing them..." Kazuko whined.

"Alright, if that's the case, stay here, but be careful. I will take Yamato to our base." Miyako nodded, but then she got an idea.

'Yamato is unconscious...There is no interruption. We will be all alone in our base as others would go to school...' Her horny side has awakened, and she licked her lips.

'He has no way of resisting as he is much weaker than me...Time to make Yamato mine. It's not an assault if he enjoys it, right?'

She grabbed Yamato in a princess carry and disappeared from the spot wearing a disgusting grin on her face.

***

By the time everyone but Kazuko left the scene, Momoyo and Nikolai had already exchanged hundreds of moves. The whole place was in a desolate state. Momoyo saw the state of things around her and frowned.

Nikolai was confused, "What is it? Why did you stop?" He was getting more and more into it.

"We should move away from here. If we fought here, it would turn this place into a war zone, and innocent people might be injured. I know of a good place. Follow me." She turned around and left.

'Hm, weird.' Nikolai thought that she was all about fighting and not caring about anyone at all, but it appears she somewhat cared about things. Of course, he gave her a chase and immediately caught up.

The poor Kazuko lost sight of them and she didn't know what to do now. She decided to go and tell grandpa about this.

***

Ten minutes later.

Momoyo and Nikolai ran through a forest all the way to the other side of the Kawakami Area.

The next moment, the forest opened up all at once, revealing a rocky cliff, full of weird rock formations.

The area was in a desolate state. There were countless holes all around the place. No trees or even grass grew in that huge rock formation because of the sand bed that was laid down on the ground.

Further proving Nikolai's suspicion that this place wasn't ordinary.

He felt as if he stepped into a desert.

"What is this place?"

Checking his footing, Nikolai carefully stepped towards the field. He lifted his head and surveyed the precipice in front of him.

"This is one of the places where I train and try out new moves." She turned around and faced him. "We don't need to worry about anything here. This area is completely sealed off by the old man. No audience, no spectators. Nothing."

"Wouldn't the principal notice that we are fighting when it's him who sealed this place off?" Nikolai asked.

"He already noticed it the moment I used one of my Kawakami techniques, it's too late now. Better enjoy the battle till we can." Momoyo replied, smiling. She knew that after this was over, she would receive a heavy punishment in the form of her powers being sealed, so she wanted to enjoy it till she could.

Nikolai gave her a small smile as well and disappeared from his spot.

The next thing she knew, he appeared next to her, and Momoyo saw after images of hundreds of fists smashing into her gut. All of his fists landed and created small explosions by the sheer power of his punches.

The cliff behind Momoyo slowly started cracking from the pressure and soon enough, appeared to have been completely obliterated by just the wind.

Each one of those punches were enough to defeat any opponent Nikolai has faced in his old world, yet she was taking them with arms wide open.

Feeling his fists hitting flesh and finally unleashing his strength without constraints excited him. Such was the battle maniac, who lost his purpose until he was transported into this world. The world of Majikoi.

Under the heavy barrage of attacks, Momoyo stumbled and retreated. It was surprising, but after a long time, she felt pain.

'His attacks are no joke. Firepower is on the same level as mine without Ki. I can't afford to take more hits, or else I will have to use heal.'

Unlike her strength, Momoyo's defense was much weaker, as she was more used to delivering hits and not receiving them.

That being said, her defense was still much stronger than that of anyone in Japan.

Suddenly, she could feel some sort of emotion rising within her.

Was it...

Fear?

...

..

.

No.

Kawakami Momoyo was not afraid of anyone.

Kawakami Momoyo will not lose to anyone.

Kawakami Momoyo, will not bow down to anyone.

That's how it always was, always the strongest, and the most beautiful person in the world. Capable of charming not only boys but the same gender as well. Getting herself thousands of fans and beating any obstacle without a problem.

She gritted her teeth and blocked the incoming strike from Nikolai.

"I caught you..." She whispered into his ear, grabbed his wrist with both of her hands, and threw him up into the sky.

"Instant Transmission!" She disappeared from her spot and teleported behind him, still in the air, locking his torso with her legs, and dived headfirst into the ground together with Nikolai.

"Kawakami Style, Least Weasel Drop!"

Momoyo shouted. It was considered a dangerous move. She used the height of the fall and the weight of her opponent against him. If her opponent wasn't durable enough, it might quite possibly even kill him.

Right before the crucial moment. Before the moment of impact, she jumped off of him to safety.

*Boom!*

Nikolai violently crashed headfirst into the sand, creating a crater, spreading the sand all around him all the way up into the air.

Luckily, sand was much softer than an actual pavement, so it didn't hurt him as much.

He picked himself up from the ground and gazed at her without saying anything.

'I don't know how she did it, but she somehow got behind me. Was that a technique, or something else?'

*Crack*

Nikolai heard a weird noise, and before he could react, the remains of his sunglasses fell onto the burning sand.

"No...No..." He knelt on the ground while holding the sunglasses, trying to piece them back together.

Heavenly lights began to dance from beside Momoyo as she charged up her fist with her Ki, "What are you kneeling there for?" She was confused and thought he wanted to surprise attack her. She knew that her technique couldn't have possibly finished him off like that. That would be too easy.

'You won't catch me off guard.' She rushed towards him, leaving behind an incredibly fast beam of light.

Even Miyako, who was a descendant in Shiina archer mastery, and had amazing eyesight, wouldn't be able to see through her movement, it would be like a blur to her.

"Got ya!"

This time, her fist smashed directly into his face. There was no intervention.

"Forbidden Move, Fuji Smasher!"

Nikolai couldn't react to it in time and received her punch head-on. Scattering the dust all around them.

And when the dust cleared away.

"Huh?" were Momoyo's words when she looked at the sitting Nikolai. He was still in the same position, holding his shattered sunglasses in his hands, as if in some kind of trance. He was looking down at them as if he was mourning.

Momoyo expected he would be propelled at least a few meters away because of her technique, but she was mistaken. In fact, his entire body besides his head didn't move at all, maybe slightly, but it wasn't noticeable.

"...Why are you looking down? Didn't you want to fight me?" She asked, receiving no response.

"So come and fight me! Fuck the sunglasses!" She was getting impatient. When it came to fighting, she wanted to fight as long and as much as she could.

Luring her to fight him and then ignoring her was equal to an act of foreplay without actual penetration and climax. She felt he was just leading her on and teasing her, and she didn't like it.

She kicked the fragments off the sunglasses out of his hand and stepped onto them.

"..."

Nikolai was quiet, not making any sort of movement.

"Come on! Stand up! At least stare at me when I talk to you! We came here to fight!" She grabbed him by his neck and lifted him off the ground.

"W-What the..."

The oldest and strongest emotion of mankind was fear. The oldest and strongest fear out of all was the fear of the unknown.

Momoyo was never afraid of anything in her life, but the sight in front of her shook her confidence.

Gazing into his eyes, even she slightly shuddered.

"...Are you satisfied now?" Nikolai's hoarse voice rang in her ears. He grabbed the arm she pulled him up with and lightly squeezed it.

*Crack*

It was instantly broken.

"...Ugh!" She pulled away from him and immediately used heal, "Instant recovery!" The bones in her broken arm fixed themselves, almost instantly.

This was one of Momoyo's life-saving abilities, she was even able to tank dozens of bullets from guns, and as long as she could cast this technique, she wouldn't die, and the bullets would pop back out of her body.

Nikolai stood up and looked around in wonder, "Wow, it sure is really bright outside. My world was so dark for the past few years..." He looked at her and licked his lips, "You look way better than I thought." He scanned her body up and down, making her a little bit uncomfortable.

"So that's why you wore glasses...to hide that." She looked into his dark black eyes. It was unlike anything she has ever seen before. Of course, people with black eyes were normal, however, their eyes were only black in the middle of their pupil, but Nikolai's eyes were completely black. A black sclera, black iris, black pupil, it gave off a creepy feeling, as if he was some kind of alien.

"Were you born with this condition?" Momoyo asked, trying not to look into them directly.

"That's incorrect. It was something like a grudge of the past. A warrior's injury to the back is the warrior's greatest shame. Or was it a knee? Hell if I know. In any case, the same thing goes for me as well, although it's eye-related," He pointed towards his eyes and smiled, "Pretty disgusting, right?"

Momoyo chose to stay silent and listen. To her, it wasn't disgusting, but it was pretty uncomfortable to hold the line of sight with eyes like these.

"I always had such unique green eyes with a cat slit in the middle, but people hated me for some reason, calling me a demon or something like that. Then one day, when I was in a fight with this one kid, he called his friends, and after they beat me up, they poured ink into my eyes while saying that my demon form wasn't complete or something like that." Nikolai laughed, remembering his trauma.

Momoyo frowned. "That's..."

"Oh no no, no need to pity me now, after all, there is nothing I could have done to prevent that. I was just lucky the ink didn't damage my eyes permanently and somehow just changed their color instead. The doctor was surprised I even survived. I had to undergo a small surgery though. Having ink poured into your eyeballs is no joke." He could barely hold a straight face as these words escaped his mouth. It was a long time ago, yet to him, it felt like yesterday. He will never forget it.

"...It's certainly interesting. If I were you, I would probably just train to get revenge, then take over the world."

Momoyo, who had kept her silence while listening to his story, inclined with her head, "To be honest, the only thing keeping me from going on a rampage against the world is my dear little group of friends and my old man. But just for a second, imagine, the life of doing what you want and no one would be able to stop you, sound amazing, right?"

Nikolai looked at her weirdly. "I only ever sought excitement in battles. I didn't even know the names of the kids who did that to me, and I stopped caring about that after a while too, although I still wore glasses so that no one would find out. I never even considered taking over the world, as what would be the point?"

Momoyo sighed and took a Kawakami fighting stance, "Ah, shame, I thought we were similar. Forget it." She buried one of her feet deep into the ground and asked, "Can we finally continue? You are not going to just run away, right?" Her body gave out a threatening aura.

"Of course not. Let's do this till we drop."

Both of them stared down at each other, waiting for the other to make the first move. Red, crimson eyes met with the color of the abyss.

***

Kazuko ran to school as fast as she could. The moment she arrived in front of the school gates, she met her grandpa, Tesshin, who was standing in front of the school, gazing towards the direction of his private sealed space.

"Grandpa! It's terrible! Nee-san is fighting Niko-san! We need to do something."

Tesshin stroked his beard and put his hand on Kazuko's head, caressing it.

"Worry not, if it comes to worst, I will stop them. Let Momoyo play for a while. She will receive her punishment afterward, but for now, I will turn a blind eye. Only because Nikolai-kun is as excited as her. I will inform the teachers about this so that they wouldn't be confused as to why so many of the students didn't come to school. Kazuko, you should head to your class."

"Mhm!"

***

Going back towards the epicenter of the fight, Nikolai was currently holding Momoyo up by her slender neck. As Momoyo's face turned ashen, Nikolai in a deliberate motion, hoisted her higher. Her feet dangled in midair. She was caught up by surprise and couldn't get away from his hold, feeling the intense pressure crushing her neck. She bit her lip and softly whispered,

"...Kawakami Style, Human Bomb..."

A loud explosion occurred, scorching Nikolai's left hand.

This technique was considered a suicide technique. It was a technique in which one lets his or her body explode on contact with the use of Ki. The damage done to the opponent is really high but the damage to the ones who used the technique is even higher, which is why it is a really risky technique.

Momoyo's clothes were partially ripped apart from the intense blast. Not only that, but the flesh on her right forearm was partially torn away, dangling from her hand. "...Shit...Instant Recovery..." She mumbled, and as if none of this happened, her forearm was magically back to normal.

Nikolai frowned at her, 'That technique immediately healed her up again...'

Momoyo teleported behind him and shouted, "Yo, pretty boy!" She grabbed him by his hair and used her knee to kiss his pretty face. Nikolai staggered and it took him a moment to stabilize himself.

Knee to the face was a nice move, but grabbing hair of your opponent during fight was as vicious as it could be.

Without sparing any words, Both of them got into a stance again.

Momoyo's body was once again, surrounded by her Ki, together with a purple and black energy aura, her eyes were sparkling like the crimson flames.

A single spark of her aura flew onto the sand bed, creating a small blast.

With that blast, both fighters stormed forward, crashing into the other and engaging into a hand to hand combat. Each of them had no intention of stopping or easing up with their attacks. Their fists crashed into the others, the power of every single punch disrupting the sand area under them.

"Kawakami Style, Flowing Quicksand!"

Momoyo shouted and used her Ki towards the sandy ground, turning it into the quicksand that entwined all around Nikolai's legs. He was slowly sinking, and if he didn't do anything, he could be swallowed whole.

"So is that why you lured me here. Because of this sand?" Nikolai asked while forcing the sand away from him with a single stomp.

"Not really, I just saw this as a good opportunity to try out my new technique." After another sharp repartee, Momoyo teleported behind him and kicked him up into the sky.

Nikolai was sent flying through the air until he finally reached clouds and went even higher.

"This freak...How high did she kick me?" He tried to stabilize his body to prepare for his fall, but he was once again, interrupted by Momoyo, kicking him into the ground again.

"It's not nice to call such a beautiful, elegant, graceful lady such as myself a freak."

Nikolai felt like a bouncing ball, being kicked all around the place really annoyed him.

Before he could regain his composure, Momoyo threw a punch towards him again, hitting him squarely into the right side of his face.

This time, however, Nikolai wasn't sent flying and withstood her punch. He counter-attacked quickly with a punch of his own, paying her back by sending her flying instead.

He had to admit that Kawakami Momoyo was a monster. He knew that most of his martial arts would be useless in this case and only choose to rely on a selected few coupled with brute force.

"Hmm...It seems like it would take forever to finish this." Momoyo cracked her neck and stood up from the ground. She stared at Nikolai with a hungry expression. "Wanna try something dangerous and crazy?"

Nikolai raised his eyebrows but didn't really mind, "Sure, as long as it's fun."

Momoyo evilly grinned, "Fun, huh? Let's see." She put both of her palms together and tightly squeezed, infusing her Ki. Not long after, a small black light was born. She threw the light up in the sky and dashed towards Nikolai.

Nikolai dodged her first strike and parried the next one with his Systema. He observed her movements while taking precautions against the weird black light in the sky.

"What is that thing?" Nikolai inquired, "It seems dangerous."

"It's my technique, Black Hole. It should be ready any second now."

Nikolai frowned and looked up, "A black hole? Is this your crazy idea?"

"Exactly we will fight, while the black hole sucks in everything around us. Sounds exciting, right? Do you also love to feel the dread of dying? It's the first time for me."

"You crazy freak." With that, the small black sun opened up, sucking inside everything from sand to animals and even themselves.

***

Thirty minutes later, the black hole has closed up, easing the worries of the two warriors, laying on the ground underneath the sky.

The area was nothing like before, and most of the sand and rocks were gone. All of them were sucked in by the black hole.

Both of them looked up in happiness and released a sigh of relief.

"That was one of the stupidest ideas.... I've ever witnessed." Nikolai tried to catch his breath and stabilize his body.

"That was probably the stupidest thing...I've ever done...Instant recovery..." Momoyo cast her recovery again, fixing her broken leg back to normal.

During their fight just now, she had to use Instant Recovery at least twenty times because Nikolai just kept on kicking her towards the black hole, making her injured from head to toe.

That move really played against her, as she wasn't able to utilize it against him in any way whatsoever. She only hurt herself against her own attack.

Nikolai was a master at dodging and predicting opponent's attacks unless they were instantaneous or he couldn't react to them. He already got used to all of her attacks, techniques and her speed. So unless she had another trump card, he had a high chance of winning.

He dodged for thirty minutes straight while parrying her towards the black hole the whole time.

"You are one dirty rat, you know that...This pretty lady could have died multiple times..." Momoyo scowled at him.

"If you think I am gonna let myself get killed for a pretty lady, then you are just an idiot." He replied and got back on his feet. Most of his martial arts did not work against her, so he either had the option to keep on beating her to death until she surrendered, or...

'That could work.'

He dashed towards her, attempting to punch her. She blocked it but the moment she did, he grinned and pulled out the 109 inch long katana from his inventory stabbing her through the chest and lifting her up in the air.

Momoyo didn't understand what just happened, all she knew was that she was stabbed and held up in the air like a meat on a stick.

"Where the hell did you pull this long ass sword from!?" She lifted herself from his blade and jumped away in a hurry.

"Instant Recovery!" She casted healing on herself but in the middle of her increasing metabolism, she sensed a problem as it slowed down back to normal pace.

'I can't use any more of them...'

"That's a trade secret!" Nikolai lunched forward, swinging his katana, while Momoyo was being on defensive, blocking his attacks with her hands infused with Ki.

'I can no longer heal, if I get injured again, it could be bad...' She thought, and unfortunately for her, Nikolai found a gap in her defence and slashed towards her neck.

"Time Manipulation!" She uttered a single sentence and stopped time within twenty meters radius of her. Nikolai was left frozen and the cold blade was a few milimeters away from her slender neck.

She stood up and sighed, "It was the best battle I ever fought, but this is reality, this match is over." She sent a series of attacks towards him, without holding back, all of them either hitting his face, ribs or chest.

This went on for ten seconds before the time went back to normal. However, with the accelerated time, all of the injuries Nikolai received during the time stop also transferred to him.

To him, it just seemed that Momoyo disappeared from her spot and the next moment, he was sent flying with countless of injuries and broken bones. Puking out blood.

"W-What... happened..." He coughed up blood and looked at the still standing Momoyo.

"It was my technique, time stop." She replied without lying to him.

"Time...stop? But how?" Something like that was unimaginable for him. All of her techniques were, but time stop was too much. How could she even master that? Stopping time? How did that work?

After that time stop, Nikolai received heavy injuries and wasn't able to move anymore. It was an unfair technique. Stopping time and maximizing the injuries of your opponent during the small ten second time window.

Nikolai had no way of beating that, nor any way on anticipating that she had this kind of technique.

Momoyo was pretty beaten up too, but not as much as him.

She used up all thirty of her tries to heal, while Nikolai didn't have this kind of luxury.

"...I dealt heavy and live threatening injuries to you...thirty times...how many more times can you use that thing...I killed you thirty times..." He could no longer stand on his own and fell on the ground. His face tasted the remains of the sand as he was resigned to lose. Blood was flowing down his mouth and he didn't know if it was from his lip or from some internal injury.

He grabbed the sand in his clenched fist and slowly raised up his head.

'No matter what I tried, it wasn't enough...Taekwondo, Judo, Karate, Systema, Wrestling, Brazilian Kicks, Sumo, Masamune...Her techniques were far stronger than anything I could have imagined...Instant recovery, stopping time, black hole...What can I even do against that?'

"That was my last heal. I am almost out of energy. You are completely right. Ki and Energy are...pretty damn broken...I am pleasantly surprised you survived this long against me without knowing what energy or Ki even is..." Momoyo started walking towards him to deal the finishing blow and force him to surrender. That was all she needed to do, but her legs gave out as well, and she was forced to kneel on the ground.

"Kuh!?"

She started panting heavily and knew that she almost reached her limit. She used Instant Recovery too many times, and her energy and Ki were almost depleted. That time stop already went beyond her limit.

She looked towards the fallen Nikolai and wondered when was the last time she had this much fun? Probably never.

When was the last time she was this exhausted? Maybe twelve years ago, when her grandpa started teaching her the Kawakami Techniques for the first time.

She was eternally grateful to him for giving her the best fight of her life.

Both of them were the apex of this world. Both of them were natural-born fighters. Both of them were enjoying the battle. But a battle has to come to an end at some point. There is always a winner and a loser.

'Two people can't win.' She steeled her heart and looked at him.

Unable to stand up, Momoyo clasped her hands together. "...Get ready, this is my final attack."

Nikolai didn't respond back, but slowly picked up his broken body from the ground and readied his katana, bending one of his knees and wiping out blood from his face.

"Here I come!" Momoyo shouted, and slowly, small particles of blue light, energy, and Ki morphed together into a giant ball of destructive force.

A burst of energy swirled and twisted the air itself. All three of the forces blended together and rested between her two palms in harmony. She held the force in her trembling hands and aimed it towards Nikolai.

"...I can't believe I get to use this technique...You are amazing...If you survive this...You win..." Momoyo's lungs drew a great deal of breath, and she poured every ounce of energy she had left into the azure orb of destruction.

"...Star Destroyer!"

With a mighty yell, she unleashed a massive beam, capable of destroying a planet. Of course the beam was weakened by her low amount of Ki and energy y but it was still strong. Shortly after that, she fell unconscious, depleting all of her energy, hoping Nikolai survived.

In one instant, the light enveloped the entire forest, and, in the next, a sharp sound was born. The light and sound chained into each other, intertwined and resonating, a simple, clear melody filling the air.

The wounded Nikolai stared at this beautiful azure light, raising his Masamune katana high in the air, preparing to cut this force down.

"So pretty." Were his last words, before he was completely swallowed up by the violent energy torrent.

The extreme output of Momoyo's power caused the ground around him, and in a far vicinity of over ten kilometers to completely explode, burning all of the trees and destroying everything in its path. The immerse force of the collision not only cracked the ground, creating a giant canyon but also split the clouds in half.

Ending the bout between the two strongest people of the world.
