17 CH 16: Dai Mubai

As Dai Mubai walked to the desk with one girl in each hand, he obviously noticed Ali and his own beauties. He was truly shocked by the goddess-like beauties standing on each side of the boy.

He was a prince of an empire, but even he had never seen such beautiful girls in his life. Even Zhuqing had become so much prettier thanks to Ali that Dai Mubai couldn't recognize her. The two girls were still young, but when they grew up, it was obvious that they would become the most gorgeous women in the world.

Dai Mubai didn't know Zhuqing that much anyway, since his marriage contract with her was because of their family and no feelings were involved. He had only seen her a few times before running away anyway.

So it wasn't that much of a surprise that he didn't know her. But even in the original, he recognized her by how he felt that there's a connection between their martial souls. However, there was no connection this time.

When he took his eyes off of the girls to look at who was hugging them, he was surprised once again. He was famous for being handsome, but the boy that was smirking at him was even more handsome than him.

When he saw that the boy looked at the girls on Dai Mubai's sides, who were gawking at Ali, and nodded at him with an impressed look, Dai Mubai smirked too as he answered with an impressed nod of his own.

Ali was truly too handsome and beautiful, even though Dai Mubai was a little jealous of his face, he still didn't have the heart to hurt it. And besides, people of their handsomeness were rare, so he thought it would be fun if they could be friends. <Explanation.

I don't want to make Dai Mubai a bad guy for no reason like the other authors. They all take advantage of the fact that the poor guy ran away as a KID because he didn't want to die, and shit on him just because he is Zhuqing's fiance on paper.

Like, what is your problem with him? He's honestly a good guy who looks out for his friends. I don't even blame him for leaving Zhuqing at first, cause it's the only logical thing to do.

Let me ask you, would you stay in the house where your brother wants to kill you? Would you risk your life to save the girl that you barely know? So what if she's your fiance?

That's only on paper and it was decided by your shitty parents. Believe me, I would do the same. Why would I risk my life for someone who I just know the name and age of? Those people who use that excuse just because he's Zhuqing's fiance are just retards>

Even though Dai Mubai didn't recognize her, Zhuqing clearly and easily recognized him. However, instead of anger or sadness, there was just her usual nonchalant and cold look on her face.

She recognized him, but so what? She didn't care about him, and she already had a lover. She had a little grudge in her heart against him for leaving her, however, after she told Ali and Yuena and he explained to her that it was the only logical thing, she wasn't that angry at him.

Of course, she felt a little salty for getting left behind while he was clearly enjoying his life here, however, she would be lying if she said that she wouldn't leave him behind too if she was in his place.

After all, they only know each other as "My fiance who was chosen by my cursed parents" and that was it. Honestly, in the original, if he wasn't the only person who she knew, they would probably rather never see each other at all.

"Please give us three rooms." Ali spoke to the receptionist before he apologized :"I'm sorry, sir, but there's only a single empty room." Xiao Wu scratched her head with a sigh :"Ah, only one room."

"Our rooms are big and can fit many people inside. Especially this room." He said and Xiao Wu was immediately hooked :"Alright, brothers, pay up." The boys' faces twitched before the ring on Ali's left pinky shone and a bag of gold appeared :"Here."

Ali didn't need to release his Omnitrix martial soul to use its Innate Abilities, but it was weird for money to appear out of nowhere. So he had taken a storage ring from someone who had pissed him off.

He had just put money inside, since he only needed to take out money in normal situations. If it was in private or a dangerous situation, he wouldn't hesitate to use all of his Omnitrix martial soul's abilities.

He nonchalantly threw the money bag at the receptionist who grabbed it and took out a key :"Here you go, sir." But just as he took out the key, Dai Mubai reached them and glared at the receptionist :"Hey, isn't that my room? Are you new?"

"You are..." The receptionist smiled nervously before Dai Mubai slammed his hand on the desk :"I want to see your manager!" <A wild Karen has appeared!>

Ali's eyes went a little wide from the mad memories of that sentence. He curled his lips as the receptionist hurriedly walked away :'Didn't expect him to act like a Karen...'

"Buddy, I think we came here first." Tang San spoke calmly, but Dai Mubai just side eyed him :"So what?" Causing Xiao Wu to snort proudly with her hands on her waist :"Nothing. We just want you to get out."

"Alright then." Dai Mubai chuckled in amusement as he leaned back on the desk :"How dare you talk to me like that? I think you're soul masters as well. Come on, I'll give you a chance to get me out. Or... You may show me how to get out."

"You-" Xiao Wu wanted to step forward, but Ali stopped her and sent a glare her way :"Xiao Wu, stop making trouble for no reason. And you, my handsome buddy, if you want a friendly match, I don't mind amusing you."

Dai Mubai smirked in amusement, but just as he was about to say something, someone walked hurriedly towards them and smiled nervously at Dai Mubai :"Mr Dai, calm down, calm down."

Dai Mubai snorted as he raised an eyebrow at him :"Hmph, manager Wang, you are getting better in business." Causing the manager to gulp nervously :"Mr Dai, don't say that. The new staff doesn't know the rules. I'm sorry, I'm sorry."

When he saw that Dai Mubai was silent, he turned towards the five teenagers :"I'm sorry, the room that you requested is reserved by Mr Dai. Please go to another hotel."

Before Xiao Wu could open her big mouth, Ali took a step forward as he cracked his fingers with an amused and interested smile :"I wouldn't mind going, but I'm kinda excited now. What do you think, "Mr Dai"? Wanna play a little game together?"

Dai Mubai smirked back as he stepped away from the desk :"Sure thing, you got me interested now too." However, how could the manager watch them just wreck his store :"Mr Dai, you... My guests, please apologize to Mr Dai, or els-"

But he was interrupted by Dai Mubai :"Stop the nonsense. I'll pay for all the loss." The manager lowered his head and stepped back as the two handsome boys smirked at each other.

"Ali, hit him hard! Hit him so much that he will stop being so arrogant!" Xiao Wu called out from the back before Ali rolled his eyes :"Sigh, sorry about her, she can be a little annoying sometimes."

Dai Mubai chuckled as they walked to the center of the spacious building :"It's okay, I can be forgiving too if I want to. And besides, she's easy to ignore when such an interesting person like you is around."

Ali chuckled as they both got into a stance before he winked :"Aww, you're gonna make me blush at this point. You're rather interesting too, handsome too on top of that. But let's see if you're strong enough to talk so pridefully." <Is it just mean, or is it gay in here?>

"Sister Yuena, I can't be the only one, right?" Zhuqing narrowed her eyes and furrowed her eyebrows at Ali before Yuena snorted with a frown of her own :"Yeah, I don't know why, but I feel annoyed too."

The two handsome boys rushed towards each other before trying to punch the other. But just as their fists met, Ali smirked when Dai Mubai had to take a few steps back.

When he balanced himself, he looked at his fist and smirked at Ali in interest :"Oh? So you don't just have a pretty face. Being able to hold my punch and push me back, you're qualified to be my opponent!"

When he rushed again and reached him, he immediately threw a punch at Ali who blocked it with his forearm and backhanded his side before spinning in place and trying to hit him with his elbow.

Dai Mubai dodged in the nick of time before trying to kick Ali. However, Ali moved quickly and kicked his leg which was letting him stand. The moment he got his leg kicked and fell to the ground, he didn't spare a moment before jumping back and getting up.

But just as he rose to his feet, Ali rushed towards him and Spartan kicked him in the guts, sending him sliding back before he stopped while holding his stomach with a slightly pained look.

The girls that came with Dai Mubai looked in shock along with the other spectators as Ali tilted his head and cracked it :"So are we about to start fighting for real now, or what?"

Dai Mubai smirked as he stood straight :"Sure! You did force me to use soul power, so I lost this battle. However, how can I let it be if I don't fight once more?"

Ali raised an eyebrow while smirking as Dai Mubai released his martial soul. Following the release of his martial soul, his entire body's skeleton made cracking sounds, muscles abruptly swelled, filling out the clothes to the point of bursting.

Every muscle under the clothes became exceedingly distinct while four faint lines, three horizontal and one vertical, just right to form the character for 'king' appeared on his forehead.

A phantom-like white tiger with red stripes appeared behind him, following his every move as three soul rings rose from his feet to his head before coming back to his feet and floating around him.

Yellow, yellow, purple! Level 30 soul elder with three soul rings!

"Millennium soul ring..." Tang San spoke up in shock from behind as Dai Mubai introduced himself :"Dai Mubai, White Tiger martial soul, level 37 war soul master. Please."

Seeing his fearsome thousand year purple soul ring, the people inside the store immediately covered behind whatever they could find as Dai Mubai got into a stance again.

"Hmph, is a millennium soul ring that impressive in front of Ali?" Yuena snorted from beside Tang San, causing him to smile helplessly as Ali released his Omnitrix martial soul.

He raised his left hand as a black and green watch-like object appeared on his wrist as three soul rings rose from his feet to his head and then came back down to his feet.

Seeing his soul rings, the eyes of everyone but Ali's friends went wide in shock. Every single one of the soul rings that were floating around his feet were pure black!

Black, black, black! Level 30 soul elder with three soul rings!

Ali smirked smugly as he cracked his finger Kaneki style before winking :"Ashborne Ali, Omnitrix martial soul, level 39 war soul master. Please advise, interesting and handsome guy."
