In a short span of time, I was able to dodge his attack after he crawled on to me.

"You're quiet fast now, sister."

I didn't mind what he said. Instead, I took that opportunity to exchange our positions. When you're in a fight, don't get distracted with words. Focus on your prey and who to deal with.

"Woah. Woah. Woah. Time first, Naleah." I then freed him.

We were both catching our breaths when I saw my sister, Lavi, approaching. She always run very slow.

"Levo! Naleah!"

"What's up, Lavi?"

"Enough for the training today. Mom and Dad told me to fetch you two here."

"And?"

"Ugh. I don't know. Another task? or maybe we're already allowed to go on a—"

"Mission!" we said in unison.

"Let's race?" Levo said. Two corners of my mouth curved up.

"Sounds fun." I uttered.

"Oh no.. no..—"

"On a count of three! 1! 2—!"

"Let's go!" He didn't have the chance to finish his three counts when I shouted and started running as fast as I can.

"HEY! DON'T LEAVE ME! WAIT! NALEAH! LEVO! URGH! RIDICULOUS SIBLINGS!" I heard Lavi shouted but I continued running.

Levo on my back, which is one and a half meters away from me laughed hard. He really loves to tease Lavi. Well actually, the both of us.

Levo and Lavi are both older than me. I am the youngest of our clan but it looks like Lavi's the one. I don't know where did she get that attitude. Both of them are the talkative beings, most of the time. They can't last a day without arguing or saying something.

While me, I am the young lioness of whites.

I stretched my body as I stopped from running.

I arrived in the White Cave. Our home.

"Good day, young lioness." he greeted.

"Hi, Uncle Flick."

He's the guardian of my father since he was a cub. He was also our so-called Uncle while we're growing up. The one and only Mighty Eagle of White Lands.

Our guardians are not with us yet. Because in our generation, there's a right time when we are having our own guardians. I wonder what, and who will be my guardian.

"Where's the two, Naleah?" Uncle Flick asked.

"They're so slow. Still running."

"Youngest but the fastest."

That's true, man. I turned around and saw Levo and Lavi running towards us. I think they're arguing on something again. Crackheads.

"Where's mom and dad, by the way?"

"Yes dear?" A sudden voice of a lioness reached my ear.

"Your majesty."

"Hi, mom." I greeted.

She smiled and swifted her gaze to where my both siblings are.

"Woh! Time first! Time first!" Levo arrived while catching his breath.

"Levo! You're so urgh! RIDICULOUS!"

Lavi, on the other hand, arrived with her irritated face. I wonder what Levo did to her. She always sucks at running fast.

"What? I just kicked that stone! It was blocking my way!"

"But it hit me hard!" Lavi exclaimed.

"It's not my fault anymore! Blame the rock!"

I watched them with my bored face. My eyes were from Levo then to Lavi then back to Levo. Oh my goodness.

"Can they please shut up?" I said and Uncle Flick just shrugged.

"You know your siblings, young lioness. They fight over for small things." I sighed.

"Since we were young," they're enemies. Levo who loves to tease her and Lavi who's such a brat lioness in the whole white lands.

"It's a stone! And it hurts!" she shouted.

"So what? It's just the same!" Levo shouted back at her.

"No it's not!"

"Yes it is-"

"Enough." One word from our mother made them shut their mouths.

"Sorry, mom."

"I'm sorry mother. It's just that Lavi's so annoy-"

"What?! You're th one who—!"

"SHH!" mom said and turned her back. "Your father is waiting for the three of you. Let's go."

"You could just kick that stupid stone sidewards not backwards!"

"Duh sister I'm running in a high speed."

"And so as me!"

"Really? Hah! You're so slow back there. Psh! How can Cougar like a lioness with such speed."

My head goes into their direction. They keep arguing with it! They're so loud. I stretched my mouth and checked my paws with my sharp nails.

They stopped from walking when they saw me doing the act. "Shut up."

In my mind right now, I am laughing slightly hard with their reactions. Those were epic! I just wanted to scare them. It works though. Pfft.

"What took you so long?" Dad automatically asked.

When we entered the cave, I saw that the supremes are here. Even their sons and daughters. What's going on? A clan visit? Nah. Impossible. Clan visit only happens when there's something wrong happening in the borders or outside the borders and a fiest.

"The twins being the usual cubs again." Uncle Flick answered and the other lions laughed.

We sat beside the throne rock, on where our father is. I'm between Levo and Lavi who's still exchanging dagger stares to each other. When will they stop doing that?

On our left, the Moonlight Leo and the Midnight Jade clans. The calm lions. They're our relatives. The head supremes of both clans are the siblings of my father.

On our right, the Bright Owl and the Night Orion clans. They teach young cubs, train the juvenile and teen lions how to fight and hunt.

Knight Stone clan and Light Blood clan. The fearless clans who are resting near the entrance of the cave. They serve as the protection for all clans. They're are also the infamous armys of the King.

And us. The White Shadows clan. The untamed Royal family who rules the whole white land with peace and eternity.

"The supremes and I decided to give you a special misson."

Tons of expressions from the teen lions were seen. This opportunity is what we've been waiting for, since we were cubs. We want to experience new things and we want to join missions that are beyond our expectations.

We want to be the generation where we can have our own guardians and symbols. And I, personally want to know what's the top secret of the elder lions from the history.

"Really dad?!" Lavi got up because of excitement.

"Yes." dad nodded.

The supremes remained clam while their children are in a huge happiness right now. I looked at Uncle Flick who's standing on his favorite spot. When our eyes met, he immediately turn his head left and smiled.

And why is that, Uncle?

"What's our first mission, your majesty?" Bruno asked. He's my cousin from the Moonlight Leo clan. He's the most ideal lion in our land. Not just because he's a son of two supremes and the king's nephew but also because of his standout look, skills and gentleness.

"Take note of this mission, young ones. It's not that easy as you thought." mom said.

"The main goal of this mission of yours, is to memorize all of the routes, lands, and caves. You have to know how to find meat, shelter and refuge. You have to HUNT." quiet easy.

But why? I thought that our mission will be like the others mission? Gone for how many days and get back with unknown lions. I wonder where they were heading throughout their missions.

Dad slightly looked at me. "In addition, you may encounter some enemies. A huge number of enemies."

"What kind of enemies are we gonna face, dad?" I spoke up.

"It's for me to know, and for all of you to find out." he then faced front.

"Flick, Scotch, and Pelo will be in-charge to look after you. As soon as you start the mission, you can't please them with anything. They're under my orders until the mission ends. Beware, young lions."

If Uncle Flick is dad's guardian then Uncle Scotch and Uncle Pelo are the guardians of his siblings. Uncle Scotch is a Parrot, guardian of Supreme Keron of Midnight Jade clan. Uncle Pelo is a Pigeon, guardian of Supreme Brus of Moonlight Leo clan.

"Never cheat, never lie, and never quit. This mission is intended for the eighteen of you. This is your first mission, young lions. Not individually but as a group and as the next rising generation."

We all stood up as dad walks outside.

"Your mission starts now."
