1 I Miss Earth

Jin woke up at the sound of falling water.

He felt his entire body aching, not the pain of injury but more like the pain of sleeping in an uncomfortable position.

He opened his eyes with a groan, feeling as if his entire body is numb.

The first thing he saw were the cealing, it wasn't the familiar cealing he had been living for his entire life. Instead it was rock cealing with stalactites jutting out with drops of water landing on the ground.

He was startled at the first sight he saw, he turned his head to his left and right and found the source of light. It was a candle situated on a table, behind the table sat a skeleton wearing a double breasted frock coat, a top hat and a monocle on his left, he looked like a gentleman if it weren't for the fact that he is now a skeleton.

Furthermore he noticed that he was lying on the ground with what appeared to be a ritual, there were various stone situated on a six point, forming what he suspect to magic circles and situated in the middle is him.

With a blank look on his face, he didn't know how he should react.

When his brain final processed the information, he started to hyper ventilate, his heart started beating furiously and he was panicking.

Various thoughts passed through his mind with 'kidnapped' being the most prominent.

Oh crap, oh crap, oh crap, where am I?! this isn't my house, have I been kidnapped? what's up with that skeleton!

As his mind was starting to overload and he was starting to have problem breathing, a drop of liquid suddenly drop on his nose, eliciting a loud scream from him.

AHHHHHHHH!

Frightend, he stood up ran to the only path of the cave, he continued running while creaming until he saw light up ahead.

Seeing the light he grew excited and exerted more streath to run even faster, finlly he reached the exit but was blinded due to the direct sunlight forcing him to close his eyes.

When he finaly opened his eyes, he was dumbfounded to find that the outside were full of trees and that's not even the most shocking thing, the thing that really caused him despair was that he was standing at a high altitude.

The cave was in the middle of a cliff.

He stood at the entrance of the cave frozen in shock, as if realizing something he hurriedly look up but was dissapointed when he saw the distance he would have to climb to get out.

He looked down below to see how high he is from the ground. That action caused him to pale, he hurriedly grab at the wall to support himself.

Crap, I've forgotten that I'm afraid of heights due to my panic.

He tried to calm himself before pondering about his situation. Have I really been kidnapped? but that is unlikely, I'm just a poor bloke who had no valuables and can barely make ends meet... did I offend someone... definitely not, I always make sure to lower my heads and avoid trouble.

I can rule out this two reason for my current situation, then the only thing I can think of.

He looked up and suddenly shouted with pleating in his tone. "Okay guys! I give up, stop the prank! you now have your content so please stop this!"

He continued shouting but there was no response, he suddenly had a sinking feeling. Typicaly if this is a prank the crew should be receiving him by now and not giving himthe cold shoulder.

He stood up and started walking back inside, he wanted to find the camera to prove that this nonesense should be stopped now... or maybe he just wanted to believe that this merely a prank.

While on his way back inside he tried to feel the walls, knocking and kicking it but all he felt were solid rocks, there were not even any sign of it being hollow.

He also checked the torch that was sling on the walls to no avail. Finnaly he reached he room he woke up in, when he had gotten a good look inside he found that the cave was quite spacious, like living of a condominium.

He saw the marking on the floor, the place he was laying earlier, the table, chair, book shelf and the gentleman's corpse. Aside from this things he also found a door in a corner.

Seeing the door he was ecstatic. It seems the exit is on this way and not the other way...

He strode to the door briming with happiness, thingking he would finally get out. He hold the doorknob and pushed it open, his smile froze on his face.

What he thought to be the entrance turned out to be a bedroom. Despair almost conquered him but he hold on to the belief that this is merely a joke.

He entered the bedroom and started searching for anything, for him anything would do just to reinforce himself.

When he fliped the cusion something fall off, he picked it up and saw a black and white photo, it was a photo of a young man in a military officer uniform, he was wearing military hat with a monocle on his right eye. He was posing for a photo, he's leaning on a cerimonial saber with his left hand while his right hand was tucked in his pants.

He flipped the photo behind and saw some letters written on them, he heaved a sigh of relief when he found the letters to be familiar, it was the English Alphabet.

I really thought I was transported to another world forn one moment... that was a silly thought, how could fiction be real. Jin chuckled, finding himself ridiculous for thinking he was tranported to another world.

He read the words written at the back. Then his smile suddenly froze.

With trembling hands, he read the words aloud.

"I miss Earth."
