51 What happened in the Chamber?!

[Cliffhanger Warning!]

[The Readers should read at their own risks!]

Prakriti's P.O.V,

Following the return of Devi Ganga, Devi Gandhari dragged Karna to the castle of Hastinapur with escort of the royal maids, led by Devi Sughada herself.

Devi Gandhari remained silent on their way; so did the teenager, emanating the divine luster. With a dove resting on his right shoulder, who appeared to be fed up with this uneventful day...

The company moved with an uniform speed through the uneven path of the forest, feeling a touch of tranquility...

Nevertheless, this peace and silence was just a veil... under which the plethora of thoughts were surging inside the beings behind the empress!

Along with Sughada, the maids were clueless about the sudden shift in the mood of their lady, making them a little restless about it.

Despite the brilliance of this child, which made him appear lovely and harmless, they couldn't put the uneasiness welling up inside them...

The thoughts like...

Who was this child, dragged by the empress herself?

Why was the silvery dove resting on his shoulder?

How can someone like him ever exist?!

Can I touch his hair?

...

Such thoughts were  distracting them again and again...

In one moment, they question the act of Devi Gandhari while in another second, they will be entranced by the charm of Karna...

Unaware of his origin, they build up many ridiculous theories at one point and discard it, in the other moment.

Sigh...

Women are really curious creatures...

[Note: You are a woman too!]

...

In any case, they were just some thoughts streaming through their minds. They will never dare to disturb their empress for a trivial thing like this. As the servants, all of them were aware of their own boundaries that they should never cross.

No matter how kind their lord has been with them, they were not worthy enough to inquire about anything for her... Unless, Devi Gandhari desires so...

Therefore, the group reached the royal castle in no time. Since Devi Gandhari had some free time before the arrival of the Pandavas, She took Karna along with Devi Sughada and entered her private room.

Leaving the four maids with dejected faces who vacantly gazed at the doors closed tightly before them...

Sigh...x4

All of them sighed collectively and returned to take care of the only little princess of Kuruvansha, Dushala.

Wondering about the events occurring inside the private chamber of the Empress...

...

Half an hour later, They witnessed something that made them doubt their own existence!

After half a month, they finally spotted a discrete smile on the beautiful face of Devi Gandhari!

As if it wasn't enough, Devi Sughada who seemed like a cold and strict superior was eagerly following the empress towards the Royal kitchen while the divine teenager they very much desired to meet was nowhere to be found!

Looking at the current empress, they too felt good for her... After all, who didn't observe the silent mourning of this great woman...

In the past month, she has been working with the Emperor and Mahamantri Vidur in spite of the uncertainty and fear surrounding Hastinapur.

It had already happened once, The rulers of Hastinapur died soon either by Nyati or by their actions...

HOWEVER!

It didn't stop them from ignoring the strangeness of the Empress!

They were unable to throw a single question plaguing their minds!

It was...

'What happened in the chamber!'

...
