2 Double Trouble and Hogwarts
After a few hours, there was suddenly a loud noise from somewhere at the front of the Hogwarts Express. Matthew could hear disgusted screams and a pair of loud laughter that came closer and closer. Until suddenly his compartment door opened and a pair of redheads entered his compartment. They were obviously Fred and George Weasley. The pair of twins which could even give the famous Marauders a run for their money in the Art of pranking.
They were out of breath and quickly closed the door sat before me. Until not much later the door opened again and an older student with a with a prefect badge and Hufflepuff colors probably sixth or seventh year entered the compartment and stared furiously at the twins.
"It was you two, wasn't it. You threw a dung bomb into the Prefect compartment." He started to accuse the twins.
One of them replied innocently. "Blimey fella. We've got no idea what you are talking about. We spent the whole train ride here. So don't start to blame us,"
Not buying it the prefect continued: "A witness saw two redheads opening the door to the prefect compartment and throwing something in." Then he started looking at Matthew "Were they here the whole train ride?"
Oh boy. The two troublemakers totally did it. No doubt. But it's time to make some friends.
"No idea what you are talking about. Fred and George spent the whole train ride here with me. We were just becoming friends and were debating whether we would have to fight a troll to get sorted into our respective houses or if they would use another method. Until you came in and accused them. Maybe the witness is the actual perpetrator and blamed them since they were easy to spot?"
Clearly still suspicious but with no other proof the Hufflepuff prefect started to leave the compartment: " I will keep my eye on you three!"
When we were sure he left the twins looked at me and started introducing themselves.
"I am Gred…" " ...and I am Forge" "Weasley"
" But you already…" " ...seem to know us,"
"Have we met… " "...Before?"
Wow, that's their famous twin speak: " Are you practicing ending each others sentences or something? Well, I saw you with your family on the platform. Your mom wasn't difficult to overhear."
Matthew obviously lied. He can't tell them he knew them from a Book series and recognized them from their red hair and their pranking of the prefect compartment.
And so they started chatting until the train got close to Hogwarts and they had to change into their Hogwarts robes.
[Beep! Memory Encryption complete!][Starting to Collect Data from People in the host's surroundings. Collection complete. Still need more data for the analysis of Magical Energy. ]
Well, it finished just in time.
A voice echoed through the train: "We will be reaching Hogwarts in five minutes' time. Please leave your luggage on the train, it will be taken to the school separately."
Probably House-elves will transport the luggage to their rooms. As they stepped out of the train and onto the dark and tiny Hogsmeade Platform..
[Beep! Registering foreign Magical Energy particles that try to mark the host's wand.]
"What is happening? AI Chip are you able to interfere?"
[Not enough data! Foreign Magical Energy Particles Successfully marked host's wand.]
'So that's how the trace gets applied. Well, I will have to look into it in the future. First of all I need more understanding of magic.' decided Matthew.
While he slightly shivered in the cold night air. A large beardy figure with a lamp in his hands suddenly appeared: "Firs' years! Firs' years over here!"
That's obviously the half-giant Hagrid. Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts.
"C'mon, follow me — any more firs' years? Mind yer step, now! Firs' years follow me!"
We followed Hagrid on a steep and narrow path, it was dark on both sides. Nobody spoke everyone was probably nervous,
"Yeh'll get yer firs' sight o' Hogwarts in a sec," Hagrid called over his shoulder, "jus' round this bend here."
The narrow path opened suddenly and we arrived at the edge of a black lake. And there she was Hogwarts. A beautiful medieval castle perched atop a mountain with sparkling windows from the night sky. With many beautiful turrets and towers.
"No more'n four to a boat!" Hagrid called, pointing to a fleet of little boats sitting in the water by the shore. Matthew entered a boat with another boy and 2 girls.
"Everyone in?" shouted Hagrid, who had a boat to himself. "Right then — FORWARD!"
Everyone was silent and admired the Castle while the small fleet sailed closer and closer to the cliff where the castle was standing on.
"Heads down!" Shouted Hagrid as the first boats entered an opening hidden by a curtain of ivy. There was absolutely no need for them to pull their heads down. But for Hagrid it was different, probably hit his head a few times when he started guiding the first years in the past.
[The concentration of magical Energy in the air is rising. My scan shows that the natural growth of the magical energy inside the body is amplified.]
It seems Hogwarts has a High concentration of Magic which apparently is good for the natural magical growth inside a wizard's body, no wonder Dumbledore doesn't leave the school, What a good place for a magical school. They traveled through a dark tunnel until they arrived in some kind of Underwater Harbour. They left the boats and Hagrid asked: "Everyone here?".
Walking up a flight of stone steps we arrived before a huge wooden door. Hagrid raised his gigantic fist and knocked on the door. The door swung open and a tall black-haired witch in emerald-green robes stood there which he recognized from his new memories as Professor McGonagall. She has a really stern face. He had no idea how Fred and George could cause so much trouble with someone like her watching.
"The firs' years, Professor McGonagall," said Hagrid
"Thank you, Hagrid. I will take them from here."
They followed her through the large door into a large entrance hall which was lit by flaming torches. The ceiling was too high to make out, and a magnificent marble staircase facing them led to the upper floors.
The first-years followed Professor McGonagall through the Hall to the large door on the right side of the hall. Based on the noise this should be the entrance to the great hall where currently the rest of the school is.
"Welcome to Hogwarts," said Professor McGonagall. "The start-of-term banquet will begin shortly, but before you take your seats in the Great Hall, you will be sorted into your houses. The Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, your house will be something like your family within Hogwarts. You will have classes with the rest of your house, sleep in your house dormitory, and spend free time in your house common room."
"The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each house has its own noble history and each has produced outstanding witches and wizards. While you are at Hogwarts, your triumphs will earn your house points, while any rulebreaking will lose house points. At the end of the year, the house with the most points is awarded the house cup, a great honor. I hope each of you will be a credit to whichever house becomes yours. The Sorting Ceremony will take place in a few minutes in front of the rest of the school. I suggest you all smarten yourselves up as much as you can while you are waiting."
Sure House Cup the illusionary stick and carrot. After a few Minutes, Professor McGonagall returned and led them into the Great Hall in a line. The bewitched ceiling looked like the night sky outside. What a beautiful piece of magic. All eyes were on the first-year students. At the other end of the hall was the teacher's table and before it stood a stool with a very old and dusty hat on it.
