13 Omega and Stormy: Seriousness from Extremists

The Magnus Computer comes alive with a unexpected broadcast being aired on the television networks.

"This is being broadcasted on every single channel!" says EJ in shock.

On the screen, a hooded figure slowly takes off his hood.

It's Alexander Stephenson.

"People of Australia, the time of purification is at hand. For the last few months, we've liberated this country of many pathetic filthy souls that have plagued this nation for years. But now, we will take it to the next level. Over the last few weeks, we have abducted many filth that refuse to follow our philosophy and way of living. They will be sacrificed by fire!"

The camera moves towards what looks like a giant missile silo. A giant missile stands tall above, surrounding the missile are jail cells holding all the people Alexander Stephenson and his cult had taken hostage. All of them are screaming in absolute terror.

"No!" Stormy shouts.

"This is horrible!" shouts Nesha, "How can anyone be so evil?"

The broadcast ends.

Omega's phone goes off.

A text from Ariel.

"Found out where Alexander may be holding up. The Enoggera Army barracks has been taken over."

Omega turns to everyone and shows them the text.

"You're seriously gonna follow that?" asks EJ,

"I have no choice, that missile silo could be anywhere." replies Omega, "You and Nesha get on the computer, survey the entire country if you have to, but find that silo!"

"We're on it!" Nesha proclaims as she heads to the computer.

"I'm heading off." Omega says, "Toni, be on standby."

Before Toni can get a word in, Omega runs off and hops into the MagnusMobile and drives off.

"Something is up." Stormy mutters, "The timing of that text was perfect."

Stormy's phone suddenly goes off.

A private number calling.

"What the hell?"

Stormy answers the call.

"Hello?" Stormy begins to speak.

"Good Evening Ms. Lockyer." Stormy knows that particular voice,

"Alexander!" shouts Stormy, "You fucking bastard!"

"Oh you'll love what I'm about to say next." Alexander goes on. "This purification, I refuse to do it without you. You will be removed from this world, but I'd rather you here to see the purification at hand! The silo is located just next to Botanical Gardens outside of Milton."

"And you're living it up in the Enoggera Barracks while it all happens?" shouts Stormy,

"So Ariel spilled her guts?" Alexander replies, "Well you can say that."

The line goes dead.

"Ariel is definitely involved." Stormy says,

"You don't have to tell me twice." Nesha pipes in, "You're gonna go to the silo?"

"Steven's gone off, so it has to be me!"

Nesha runs up to Stormy and gives her an embracing hugs.

"I don't want you to die." Nesha says as she starts to cry. "We haven't even gone on a date yet."

Nesha and Stormy look into each other's eyes. Tears streaming down Nesha's eyes.

"Anywhere particular you like going to?" Stormy asks,

"Well, I like Netherworld in the Valley…" Nesha answers, still crying,

"Then that's where we're going tomorrow night. You have my word."

"We can play all the arcade games, pinball machines and board games we want?"

"We'll do it until they kick us out."

Nesha pulls Stormy towards her, they share a passionate kiss.

The kiss goes for ten seconds, then Nesha pulls away.

"I love you Toni... " Nesha lets it out, "I love you so much…"

Toni begins to have tears streaming down her cheeks.

"I love you too Nesha. I'll come back, I promise."

"Well hurry up and go! Before I start crying too!" EJ happily shouts, "We'll be here supporting you all the way Toni."

"Right! Thank you, both of you." Stormy runs off and hops on the MagnusCycle and zooms off.

Meanwhile, Omega races towards the Enoggera Barracks.

The barracks and the surrounding area is completely deserted.

"EJ, I'm approaching the barracks! I need a full scan of the area for any hostiles."

"We got red over the front part of the entrance, looks like those cultists have taken over! But it doesn't look too big." EJ replies,

"Alright, I'm heading over now."

"Stormy is heading over to the silo now."

"What?!!! How did she find out?"

"Alexander rang her. Told her everything. Though he may still be at the barracks."

"Alright, I suppose it doesn't hurt to have a look."

Omega drives towards the entrance. The entrance has a dozen guards patrolling it. As they see the MagnusMobile approaching, they begin firing with their assault rifles.

Omega sees the situation as the perfect opportunity to test the MagnusMobile's defense capabilities.

With the armed guards firing their assault rifles at the MagnusMobile, a section of the front hood opens. Omega activates the disc launcher function.

Six discs are shot out and knock the guards out.

Omega drives through the front gate, makes a hard left turn and keeps driving.

"We've got a red spot coming from one of the hangers!" EJ proclaims over the radio, "It's displayed on your GPS."

In front of Omega are three assault tanks.

"They've gotten their hands on tanks!" Omega shouts,

The tanks fire shots at the MagnusMobile.

Omega does a sharp turn around a building, which takes the full force of the shots fired.

Omega comes around again, driving straight at the tanks. The tanks open fire with their machine guns at the MagnusMobile.

Two Vulcan cannons emerge from the sides of the MagnusMobile, and a cannon emerges from the top of the canopy of the MagnusMobile.

Omega fires at the first two tanks with the Vulcan Cannons, putting the two tanks out of commission.

The third tank prepares to fire it's main gun.

Omega fires a 30cm shell round from the cannon.

The last tank is down.

"Okay, I'm heading for the hanger now." Omega says on the radio. "Let me know how Stormy goes, okay?"
