5 Nee and my first Day

Pan POV

And to cut the long narration short, it's my first day as a transferee.

"Would you hold the elevator please?" I ask the grumpy student sipping cold coffee.

I am not used to using elevators. My grandmother preferred to use the steps because it is an exercise for her. Well, that's according to her but I would say taking the stairs take so much time and Mama has trouble getting up and downstairs. I would sometimes insist we should use the elevator for comfort. I know her joints sometimes sore when we walk a lot. I tried telling her that falls on the stairs are common for seniors. It's particularly dangerous because of height.

"You won't fall unless you hold the handrails!!" she reasoned out.

I do not have a choice but to back her up behind while holding some groceries.

And because I haven't used the elevator, I felt like my stomach finds its way to my esophagus and my intestines twisted together like knots. My brain weighs heavy and I thought I am increasing my IQ. I should tell Nee I want to transfer my classes on the first floor.

"Nee..." I nudged him so he could listen to me. "Can I transfer my classes on the first floor?" I told him with my face being pulled by gravity 😨😨🤢🤢. I hold Nee's sling bag. It's like I want to imply to my brother that I am still a kid and holding this way means comforting my inconvenience.

"You already know it is impossible! Just hang in there, you'll get used to it after a week."

Nee is laughing at me because of my expression. Other students are looking at my unsympathetic older brother. They're his students in one of his classes. I presume. They did not even say "hi" to me. Awkward!

"Everyone, this is my younger brother😊". Nee introduced me to them inside the elevator. He should have introduced me outside the elevator where I can feel fine and not spinning. Their faces are a bit surprised and more of an 'I-dunno-how-to-describe" reaction.

It feels me more awkward when one female student winked at me whispering a greeting to me. She's a senior to me, I believe.

"Is he aspiring to become a historian, Professor?" a male student with a blue bag asked.

"He's a bit misled, I would say...hahaha 😀😅. He's taking Psychology".

The guy nodded.

"So you want to read minds? Can you tell me what I'm thinking?" another student joked.

The other students laughed at his joke. I also laughed at them...

"It's a misconception; psychologists cannot read minds". I answered him.

"Oh, Professor your brother is not only cute but also intelligent. He's tan-skinned and handsome, and deep in, he's a little bit demure." The girl who winked at me remarked as she winked at me again.

I will be always cuter than Nee.

I entered my classroom and introduced myself to my classmates. I never felt shy because I am always confident about introducing myself. What's not surprising is that the majority of my classmates are females. No surprise for the course. There are few, countable numbers of male students but I know half of them are not straight. I can tell it by the shine in their lips and prim eyebrows like mine.
