33 Uncommon Standards

Morn' has come and the roosters had crowded, it was time for them to venture the day. They've done their daily routine; ate lunch, took a bath and fixed their things. On the exact round of the clock, both of them seemed ready to go. "Mum, we're about to leave" he opens the entrance door, saying his goodbyes. Lilith kisses Zenith's cheek and gives her a warm smile. "Take care, the both of you" Zenith waves his hand, following their figures slowly shrinking, further away from her sight.

Walking down on the same side of the streets, Zafron specifically, made them reminisce the time they had first went home together. Both of them converse about their surroundings, typically random ideas that they could agree or dissent with. Time flew quickly from their jount, eventually reaching their ground on the grand entrance gate.

The two of them had finally entered their regular classes, which was English and literature. Although, both of them are fluent enough to speak the accustomed style of English, they needed to further master its fundamentals and basics especially in their high school curriculum. The room that they was on the fifth floor, inside the high school building, just around the Ventus Sector. Crowds of student could be seen gushing towards their assigned rooms. They weren't late nor too early; it was just exactly 6:55 A.M., running closer to their allotted time. They too rushes to their rooms, slamming the front door. It was quite a dramatic entrance, or so it seems to everyone present in their seats. Most people, who had things better off to be done, stopped momentarily observing the commotion that the two students made upon entering inside.

Their professor, who arrived promptly from everyone else, stared gallantly on the two figures. He was quite amazed that these students were participating in his class, moreover promising as it seems. He too was a mage himself, specialised in body strengthening magic, ranking above any other. Magic body strengthening was an uncommon and strenuous thing for a typical wielder of sorcery. The standard magician are ought to chant spells and prepare different forms of rituals for their specialised forms. On the other hand, knights, and warriors need not to chant extreme magic's but they do require to rely on their sharpness and the quality of their personal blades whilst honing their skills. But a certain individual twisted the mundane system, hence producing a combination of the two clashing properties 'Magic Swordsmen' and 'Martial Arts Hand-to-Hand Combat' wherein both of these uncommon class would demand both the magical capability of a mage and the fighting prowess of a warrior in a single category. These unique theory was made possible and brought to life by none other than the professor, who was currently teaching English classes to freshmen in Warford's Academy, Zync Kandall. Who among the staffs wouldn't be updated from these two freshmen who defeated a summoned wyvern whilst encountering the 'Dark Deception' on their first day of school? Zync hids his mischievous grin and welcomes his new attendees in class. "Welcome. Please choose an available seat. We'll be starting momentarily." With a pleasing smile. Zero and Lilith shares a confusing expression, not knowing how to respond on the kind gestures their professor had shown. After a long pause, the both of them gave him a wry smile and headed towards the cluster of seats parallel to their sight.

"Ah, how 'bout we sit here?" Zero pointed out a pair of arm chairs on the extreme right of the classroom, just beside a window. He gazes steadily far below, directly from the window, observing the height and distance of their current position. "Right, I'll sit here, Zero." Lilith's voice woke him up from his stance, giving the picturesque view one more look.

The bell ran on cue when the clock's hand hits 7 o'clock, signalling everyone to resume the classes they are in. "My name is Zync Kandall, you can call me Professor Zync. If you're not interested in my class you should probably just get out. Just pass my quizzes then I'll make sure to pass you in the finals. If you want to listen in my lecture then you're free to do so..."his orientation goes on as he scribble down his brief case filled with notes and crumbled papers folded here and there. He stood 165 centimetres tall, wearing his standard wooden coloured uniform. His hair cut trimmed down to his ear lines. He also have a set of fashion eye wear with an added fire-like design piercing on his right ear lobe, dangling feely on his side. Despite his treacherous threats from the rules of his class, his voice and over all demeanour seems bearable enough for Zero and Lilith to listen through the whole day. And in fact, when worse seems worse, he can probably skip his morning class for him to resume his long beauty sleep. Apparently, Zero had wished that his perceptions would be a bit tedious and avoid having direct eye contact to Mr.Zync glancing over, giving him a smile. He had missed the numbers of how many times he had done this throughout his lecture but Zero needed to return his expression, forcing his face an awkward smile.

"And with that, you're all dismissed" Professor Zync shuts his notebook down and began packing his things back inside his case. "A moment, please. Zero. Lilith" he glances towards them, signalling over to follow him outside. The class gave little to no concern on the matter for they have not been acquainted with the people who had been called out. Both of them headed, as to per instructed, and met Professor Zync walking down the hallway. They both stared to one another, unaware on what to do, and hesitantly followed their professor.

"Mr.Zync, what's this about?" Zero followed his lead, tailing him from behind.

Zync led them upstairs, on a different classroom filled with several students with their respectful weapons, be it staffs, broad swords and the like.

"Welcome to Martial Art's Class. Your practical exam begins here!"
