"whe-where am I?" Zero mutters, softly panting with each painful breath. He knew he needed to verify his surrounding first.

Is it safe?

Is he alright?

He started on the latter; feeling his body is his topmost priority. Exasperating, he forcefully jerks his fingertips but his efforts turn to no avail. Numbness was the last thing he had felt as his own body rejects the direction and action waves that his own brain had sent. With a baffled defeat Zero swam with his conscience with high alertness into the unknown.

"Finally, you're awake" a trembling voice resounds through my ear; still drunk on the senseless sensation. Guessing with the individual's tone, the sound of the voice might be coming from a girl around her thirties, elegant and soothing for the mind.

Confused yet content, Zero tries to reach out from the incognito voice.

"Hello…." His words couldn't be processed. His mouth firmly closed, muted, as he exerts more force to be able to communicate on the mysterious resonance.

"I can hear you, young boy" she replies.

How come? Zero asks himself for this unknown occurrence.

"Telepathy, you have a gift that is destined to be yours" finishing her sentence, a mysterious blue square box appeared in the boy's sight, revealing sentences which comprises of

: achievement unlocked, the gamer's skill! You can now add skill points on the respective skills. :

A loud *THUD* similar to the sound of a cell phone receiving a reply, Zero's eyes grew wide for the sudden announcement.

"Gamer's ability? He retorts. "What? How? Why?" questions were being thrown to the abyss, waiting for a reply that should fairly come.

"You are very unique. I too am bewildered for this fact. I am not accustomed to these modern time but I do hope that this particular skill should benefit you and the future that awaits you. Do your best and the rest will come to its place. Protect the ones you love, for that is your strength"

The sound of her voice fades deeper, farther down the dark curtains filled in the black space. Zero squints his eyes and mustered up the loudest shout he could ever give in this 'telepathy' or the 'private message' in game-like features.

"Can I at least know who you are?" Zero desperately clasps, begging for an answer.

For her final reply, the hidden voice exclaims "my name is not so important. You may call me which ever you could. Farewell, Sky Heil"

Her final words lingers in his thoughts, satisfied on the outcome she had revealed and observed. With the feeling of gravity showers his whole body, Zero felt the coldness of the ground and the striking voice of the people residing near the core

*********

"Zero? ZERO!" lying on the ground, half-conscious and half-awake, a young lady around my age suddenly lingers around my fallen body, embracing me with all the remaining strength she could muster

"how do you feel, young lad?" the military man named Leonide gave me a worried smile whilst looking for some sort of injuries or abnormalities that I might obtained around my body.

"i-I'm fine" finding the right words to say, he returns Lilith the brace he had received, warming their two body's inclined with each other

The director only gazes on the youth in front of him. His worrisome face lightens up as Zero gave him a sincere smile, making his worries wash away.

"I'm sure all of you has questions to ask, but I think I'll hit the sack first." As he slowly closes his eyes, under the arms of Lilith

"Professor Snow, will he be alright?" Lilith asks, with her face staring into Zero's eyes

Lilith's point of view ********

Looking at Zero, I couldn't help but worry about his tired state. His magic around him are endlessly flowing, as if continuously meditating on his own; which I occasionally do to train my core.

"He'll be alright, Lilith" Mr. Snow reassures me, as he gently taps my shoulder to show his sincerity.

"I… I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS" Leonide, the soldier-like man yelled beneath his lungs

"ALL FOUR ELEMENTS. HE CAN USE ALL FOUR ELEMENTS AND…BEYOND. HIS POWER CAN'T BE MEASURED BY THIS ORB" he shows us the orb to gauge the mana's core from individuals to be tested. Looking at the shattered orb, which used to be in rainbow colours, obsidian black.

through history, no one had ever broke the special orb. This crystal has been passed around since ages according to literatures and books from the Warford's library. In fact, apart from Zero, the legendary mage, Merlin Rodes was the only one who obtains the quadra elements, nonetheless the surpassing combination of elements or even more. I covered my mouth to hide my astonishment. Who would not after hearing this extraordinary news.

"Director, what must we do with this child?" Leonide ass. Amazement and frighten is heard from his tone, sweating viz seeing a monster in his eyes

"nothing. We do nothing. Let this information be kept hidden for now. I will think of something" as Director Snow marches out from where he had stood, looking once more towards Zero's direction

"Lilith, carry Zero to the infirmary once again." His stern look makes me worried more from the future that awaits for Zero. I gave him a nod readied Zero's body behind my back. Leonide helped me position him, as he began struggling as well.

with a tired sigh, the excitement that we have once had turned into bewilderment, waiting for Zero's awaken
