26 A Long Day Indeed

Indeed. After all of those, approximately one-thousand, descending steps, a magic circle could be seen and readily be used. These portal as they speak resides parallel to both the ground and the upper floor, hidden from various bushes, trees and rocks for validity and safety upon entering its domain. These magical circles are embedded with hues of emerald green which twirls around on the circumference design of the said portals. Upon entering, light, faster than the speed of sound, envelopes the guests, transforming them into bits of atomic particles which transfers their matter upon the different section where the next portal are/is located, depending on their marked route.

Zero and his group waved their goodbyes as they ventured forth upon the hidden portal (which is actually located near the entrance doors. Despite Zero, who was continuously sighing mid-way, all of them arrived safety from the setting which they had started, the apex just beside the steep lengthy stairs that traumatised every nerve in his body. Even the usual timid, calm, director twitches his eyes on the sight they needed to pass in order for them to be assessed by the Holy knight's guards. It became the ritual, where-in guests, whether they were invited or unimportant visitors, are obliged to manually descend on these train of stairs.

What can they say, it was also their form of exercising in this tremendous labyrinth hall.

Kidding aside, relief flowed down their faces as they soon found the 'light' rather the open outdoors of these treacherous site. They swarmed easily on the mist of misfortune (which Zero wanted to name it) and eventually arrived on a stadium, where mr. Snow had greeted both Zero and Lilith upon their entrance feat.

"What a tough day" Zero ranted

"I'm beat" followed by Lilith

The day haven't been done, and they had spent for merely couple of hours between the different events they needed to go through. Nonetheless, all is done and everything went well, which was a bit of a dramatical experience for mere students to face with. Besides, they, Zero, had fought head on with a wyvern, a dragon of some sort, which existed right from his very eyes, and it could have been worse. Worst case scenario, he would probably be slashed to his death from the very beginning, but fate and luck played a massive role from his survivability.

: 4:00 A.M:

It was a decent time for a regular class to be dismissed. Technically, Snow orientated these 'talented' students to observe the verge and radical ways of their entire school, without nothing to hide from. Mr. Snow glances over his wrist watch, on his right arm, and dismissed both Lilith and Zero.

It was a hectic day indeed and these students wanted dearly to hug their beds tight, recharging their vitality. The two of them nodded in satisfaction and ended their day from their school, heading towards the entrance gates'.

They were walking on the same path, on the same streets, wearing the same uniform. On the audience eyes, these youngsters portrayed a young couple going out on a date after leaving their school's premises.

They walked past few districts as the two walks straight to their home, which was supposed to be their current agenda.

"Uhm… why are you following me?" Zero asks, bewildered with the fact that this cute girl, Lilith, was tugging the ends of his azure blazer uniform, shyly following his rhythmic walk.

Lilith tries her best to voice out her words, baffling between seconds and intervals

"I…I uhm… can I…. stay a bit longer… in your house?" She finally gathers her courage to ask a unpredictable question. Scratching his head, Zero replies

"I mean, I don't mind but the school and other students might notice our appearance and create a false rumour inside the school that we're hanging out at an early stage, both spending our time alone in a house?" Zero states his rationale on why he couldn't allow Lilith to sleep on their home once more.

"I… I don't want to go home anymore…" still unable to fluently speak, these set of words was the only strength Lilith could muster upon asking an impossible request... or was it?

Zero blankly stared at Lilith, studying her appearance and emotions. Her face is quite swelling from the tears which could pretty much stream down at any minute. Holding off her tears, Lilith returns the gaze from Zero and smiles weakly despite her embarrassing appearance.

"It's okay if you don't ha…" before Lilith could even finish her sentence, Zero butts in, giving Lilith a fortunate answer.

"Fine. Help mum cook our dinner or meals. You could also clean the dishes and your spare room for the time being"

Lilith bursts into tears from Zero's sudden change of heart. Wiping off the watery fluids beside her eyes, Lilith flashes a sincere smile making every men's heart melt from this bewitching beauty.

"Thank…you" she said happily with a smile. Although crying from her bottled up emotions, these was her tears of joy from Zero who had lent her a hand.

As their talk grew to its end, they finally arrived on their humble abode.

Zero knocks the door, and awaits her mother's response

"Welcome home, Zero, Lilith"

"We're back" The two of them, in sync, replied
