265 Aisling’s homecoming

Astila hears his wife's voice outside, thinking it is wishful thinking on his part he hesitates. Hearing it again he rushes outside. There she stands at the bottom of the steps, she is much thinner than before but she is alive. Running out he clears the steps without even stepping on them to pick her up into his arms. Astila captured her mouth in a tender kiss welcoming her home. 

"you are finally home, what happened did he hurt you?" The worry in Astila's voice makes Aisling smile and hug him tighter.
