33 Chapter 33: A Small Entanglement

Race and Magnus quickly arrived at the exit. Race was nonchalant but Magnus was a bit nervous as they were about exit their ship.

Magnus placed his palm on to a panel on the blast door. The panel which was originally red turned green. The thick blast doors opened up, showing the group of officials waiting to receive both of them.

Magnus walked in the front while followed a step behind. It was then that Magnus took a good look at the group who were sent to welcome them. His eyes focused on a face among them and smile bloomed on his face.

" Ho, So my little brother has come back."

Race looked at the person who spoke and saw a young lady with whose face seemed to resemble Magnus. " So he has an elder sister as well", Race thought to himself.

" Long time no see sis."

" And whose fault is that Magnus."

" Mine". Magnus spoke meekly as he accept defeat as he walked towards his sister and the rest of the welcoming party.

" He is Race my junior, Race this is my elder sister Mavis."

Magnus tried to change the topic but to no avail.

" Is my fool of a brother causing trouble for you." Mavis seemed to have a huge grudge against him as she asked Race.

" Wow, you really miss your little brother, huh." Race was able to immediately see through her lies. Mavis was flustered at first but then immediately took Magnus in a bear hug.

" This was what i was afraid of" Magnus said but he too reciprocated the hug." I miss you too sister."

"I missed you too little Magi" Mavis said in gentle tone.

" Magi", Race was quick to catch Magnus's Nickname.

"Don't you even dare think of calling me that." Magnus knew that he was not going to hear the end of it.

" No, i will never do something like that senior Magi." Race couldn't hold his laughter when saying that.

Mavis had really missed her little brother, after hugging Magnus for not a short amount of time she came to her senses.

" Yeah I will lead you to mom's offi...cough... captains office, The Captain is waiting for you there."

As they made their way various hallways they came upon another group of soldiers. Magnus's and his sister's face really lost their light when they saw them.

" Damn it, why are these guys still here", the frustration in Magnus's voice was clearly audible.

" Who are they," Race was naturally interested.

"They are just some no good soldiers" Mavis said as she was tried to change the subject.

Before Race's group could say another thing, one who was standing in the forefront of the group of soldiers yelled," So the Bastard who was chosen by nepotism is back."

The soldier had a badge on his chest showing that he was a captain. But the ugly grin on his face showed that he was a scumbag. Race was genuinely surprised that Magnus and his group was not responding. As Race was about ask why a simple captain can talk trash about him the scumbag captain continued, " What did you lose your tongue on your great journey for enlightenment? Or Did you...."

Before the scumbag could complete that sentence he felt wind on his face, he was surprised to find the kid near Magnus had suddenly appeared before him. The Captain started to sweat as he looked at the expressionless face of Race. He knew that this kid who could pound him to the ground before he could even raise his hand. The other four soldiers who were standing near the captain were also terrified.

" Huh; Captain Ben... Rune," Race spoke in tone as if he was scary Principal just about expel some delinquents. " Do you know who HE is? " Race asked captain Ben pointing towards Magnus. " He is the eldest disciple of the one who owns this place. I don't care what happened before between you and my Senior and i don't care. But you disrespecting him is just like disrespecting me and our master." Race took a breath and poked at the captain badge. " A mere captain daring to disrespect someone like him calls for a punishment".

By then Captain Rune had summoned a bit of a courage as he began to speak to Race, " Do you Dare.."; That is when he felt a heavy punch on his face and flew towards a the metallic wall.

Race then slowly walked up to the captain and said, " You are here by demoted to the Rank of a common soldier, This and the punch will be your punishment." Race then dangled a piece of cloth in front of the captains face, On that piece of cloth was the captain badge. " I will be taking this with me. If your superior wants this back, tell him to come and meet me."

Race had torn of the piece of cloth from the captains uniform when he punched.

The humiliation that he faced made Captain Rune's Rage take over him as he yelled.

" This is not over"

" Oh, I know. But I will make sure that everything will be over before I leave this place."
