14 Chapter 14: Sione's Strength

" Now that this problem is cleared, lets be on our way ", Magnus looked eager to continue the journey.

The Starship Minotaur they were on travelled to the nearest WARP entry point and jumped to the next point in their travel. The ship nowadays had the ability warp on their own but It caused a heavy toll on the the WARP engines. But about 500 years ago it was found out that certain celestial bodies of specific mass would curve space in such a way that it allowed ships to activate WARP drive quite effectively, thus reducing the strain on the warp engines. it was called the SHALIANIS principle after MASTIKA SHALIANIS, the genius mind who proposed and proved this phenomenon. This effectively catapulted the exploration of space to a new level.

" It's gonna take about to reach were master is. So in the mean time you should get to training." Magnus said as he was fiddling with his communicator. A notification popped up on Race's communicator." That's a message showing that you are given access to use the immersive training room, Along with the authorization to read books and research papers on Minotaurs internal library. But the this will only allow you to read materials of the standard of beginner mechanic or lower. Reading anything of a higher level will do you no good for your foundation". Magnus said as he selected an option on the holographic panel before him.

A new path line started to form below Race's footed," It will lead you to the immersive training room. You can access the library by using your VR headset after connecting it to you wrist communicator. So, What are you going to do first." Magnus asked looking at Race. Race without hesitation chose to go to the training room. " I want check out the training room first".

" Can i come with you, brother Race. I too want to train. We can train together", little Sione asked Race making a cute expression. Race thought that it would be all right teach his little brother a few things about fighting. " Ok then, little Sione lets go train".

"YAAAAAAAAAAAY", Sione literally jumped with excitement as he hopped behind Race as they made their way to the training room. What Race didn't notice was a sly smile on Magnus's face.

"System, send me a recording of their fight". Magnus began to chuckle as he thought about what was about to happen. " You know what, I want to see it IRL", and he slowly made his way to the training room.

The training room was essentially a huge stadium, a really huge one, it could also be used to simulate various scenarios allowing the user to train himself in multiple environments. From serene rainforest to sandstorms in unforgiving deserts. One could prep oneself for any type of situation.

" So where do you want to fight", Race asked for Sione's opinion,after wearing the black suits that are required for the training room.

" The rainforest, I want to train the rainforest." Sione was clearly excited.

Race then chose the rainforest from multitude of options that were available.

The entire arena then transformed into a tropical rainforest, teeming with life.

" Ok Sione, brother will teach you how to fight. So come at me little brother." Race said taking a stance, planning to go easy on him.

" Ok brother Race, I am ready". Sione had little smirk on his face.

A monotonous voice started counting down.

"3...2...1, Fight"

Race prepared a lazy defence as he had seen that Sione was preparing to charge at him, But he was stunned to find Sione right in front of him. Sione had thrown a punch at his face, which race was barely able raise his hand to defend only to be caught by Sione who simply threw Race to a nearby tree.

"Flawless Victory, Sione wins".

Race was stunned. He was unable to comprehend what just happened. How was a boy who was about 10 years have the physical prowess of a super human. Race could feel that Sione was holding back. When Sione said he wanted to play with his brother's, this was not what Race was expecting.

" Hahahaha" Race heard Magnus's sound. " This goes in my personal album."

" Hey..." Race was about ask how is this possible when Magnus interrupted him,"Sione is special Race, remember what I told you yesterday".

"Oh...." Race realised, the experiments done on Sione were cruel and unforgivable, But they did upgrade his body to a monstrous level.

" Brother Race, wanna go for another round", Sione was bit cocky. Race thought for a while before answering.

"Yes".

" Oh, this is going to be fun" Magnus muttered to himself."Start the countdown".

" 3...2...1...fight."

Sione went for the same attack, Race who was prepared this time was in full focus. Using his recently improved mental prowess, Race was able to make out Sione's movement. Sione threw the same punch, just like last time. Which Race caught hold of and pulled him in. Since Sione was physical stronger than Race, Race had utilize Sione's strength against him. So Race pulled Sione punch in causing Sione to lose balance. While still holding to Sione's punch Race rotated to the direction in which the punch was thrown, this caused Sione to be more out of balance giving Race more than enough time to duck down and to leg sweep Sione. Sione was now suspended in air.

Race used this little window to put Sione in a lock. Sione even though was physically stronger than Race was now suppressed under Race's lock. Even after struggling for a bit Sione wasn't able to break free. " Looks like I win", Race sounded quite happy and confident.

" Don't be so sure", Magnus's warning was heard. " Brother Magnus, I think I can use a bit more strength against Brother Race", Sione's words literally send chills through Race's body."He was hiding his strength", Race was stunned and spoke in his mind. But Race didn't have time to dwell on that thought as Sione easily broke free from Race's lock with his newly shown strength. What followed was a quick knockout as Race experience from his past life was not able to bridge the power gap between him and Sione.

" I always win. Even brother Magnus can't win against me". Sione said proudly.

" Lets go another round Sione", Race surprised both Sione and Magnus. Sione was thrilled about this.

" Is Race mad", Magnus thought as he watched Race prepared for another bout. " Well, with him training with Sione, I don't have to get hit anymore".

" Thank you Brother Race", Sione was genuinely happy as not many wanted to train with him after knowing the power difference.

" We can train everyday", This statement of Race made Sione run to him and hug him. While Magnus felt that there was something definitely wrong about Race.

What they both didn't know was that Race was able to improve the fastest when fighting a much stronger opponent. As fighting stronger opponents helps him better train his current body in the combat techniques from his past life.

" Ok then, let the countdown begin".

"3...2...1...FIGHT!
