11 Chapter 11: Fellow Colleagues.

Race opened his eyes to find himself in a different room. This one was far more luxurious than the one he was provided previously. The bed he was currently on was much bigger and more furnished, If the last one was worthy of a wealthy tycoon, This one would be something that will be reserved for High ranking noble or official.

" Damn, I hope. I am not in a different city this time", Race got up from his king size bed to look around. He saw his VR headset and some new gadgets on the antique table in the room. As Race neared the table, the wrist communicator among the new gadgets started to beep and a message played. " Race these are the new toys that you get to play, one of the many perks of being my teacher's new student. Yeah, now make your way to the command deck. I will be meeting you there. Don't forget wear all the gadgets and bring the VR." Said the low pitch voice from the communicator.

Then a bright line started to glow beginning at Race's foot and leading to the door. But Race was more invested in a part of his so called senior's message. " What does he mean by a 'Command Deck'. Don't tell me....", Race then ran to the nearest window and moved the curtains and the sight that awaited him was the vast void of space in all its glory.

"Nice, I didn't change cities but an entire freaking star system. If this keeps up I am not going to sleep anymore, I could be in another dimension next time I wake up". Then the communicator on his wrist beeped. " Hey junior, move it there is a lot of things that I have to inform you".

" Like how I am in space without even knowing it", Race thought in his mind while he glared at the communicator." I will be right there". Race then began to follow the earlier line that he guessed to be the guiding him to the command deck. On his way to meet his so called senior Race had a thought.

" Is this really my senior, where is Agent T. I mean couldn't the so called senior wait for me to wake up before taking me to meet my master. So I could very well be kidnapped for all I know. There is no point in trying to hide because even without the gadgets he could probably find me. Otherwise he wouldn't be willing to let me walk free".

Race was looking around in every hallway to find anything that he could use to defend or escape as he made his way to the command deck. "Huh, What happened to me. My senses seemed to have improved, Its as if I can perceive more information from my eyes, I can even feel the pressure variation in each hallway section. My nose can pick up..... Oh, god I stink".

Race had taken a shower just before the MAD tournament trials began. He fell unconscious just after the duel and who knows for how long he had passed out. "But from the way I smell, it seems like it was not a short duration of time". Race then arrived before a much thicker door than all the ones he passed.

" It seems this is the place." and just as Race reached within 5m of the door the thick doors opened, revealing a large space with a lot of robots operating a variety of holographic control panels. In the middle of the room there was the master seat, On which Race could make out a faint silhouette of a man of small stature. The command deck was poorly lit, with the only source of light being the holographic panels.

"So, my junior has arrived, HAHAHAHAHA" the low pitched voice just like the one from Race's communicator.

The seat slowly rotated to face Race to show a figure clad in a black futuristic dress and a full black cape with a dramatic collar. A young boy , even younger than Race sat on the seat. "What the ..." before Race could even complete. The seemingly 7 year old boy suddenly jumped towards Race. Race almost instinctively counter attacked. The kid then held both of his hands like giving a two-handed handshake. And asked,

" I scared you didn't I, Hahaha. I scared you, hehehe. That was so much fun, hehehe". the boy whose voice now sounded really cute spoke while jumping up and down shaking Race's hand. The boy had an innocent smile. " It reminds me of.....", before Race could even complete the thought, his eyes start to tear up. Seeing tears in his eyes the young kid asked, "Did I scare you too much brother, I am sorry brother, I didn't mean to, make you sad". The kid said in a very sad tone with tears in his eyes' as well.

" No, It's alright, you just reminded me of someone I knew". said Race

"If you miss him so much, I can ask our senior to take us their", the little boy spoke happily as if he found the perfect solution, to Race's solution.

" Your senior, where is he ?" ,secretly happy to know that it was not this child who was piloting the ship.

" Yes, But I trapped him in his room. He told me he would play with me when we reached brother's planet, But he didn't keep his promise. So I locked him in his room, i did good right." The little kid looked at Race with his cute eyes as if expecting Race's praise.

Race wanted to yell " What the freak did you do", but was smart enough to notice something was strange about this kid, So he told the kid, " What if he was tired yesterday and wanted to play with you today. Now he will be sad right. Being locked in his room when he was hoping to play with his junior". The kid's face immediately changed into that of guilt, much more guilt than Race expected.

" Oh, no what have I done, I locked my elder brother up. I locked my elder brother up, I locked him up", the kid was hysterical. Tears flowed from his eyes as if he had committed a great sin. " What have I done " Race thought to himself as he was surprised at how the kid was acting.

" Hey,hey,hey ; don't cry, we can just free your brother right. So don't cry, don't cry we can get him out alright", Race tried to calm him down.

" Yes, brother is right, Lets go free our brother", the crying kid pulled Race along the various corridors to a door. The boy let go of Race's hand and ran near to the side of the door, he then opened a hatch which was previously well hidden. There the kid used a multi tool to tweak various settings on the circuit inside, and suddenly the door opened.

The kid ran in to the room, while Race immediately followed after him.

Magnus was just having a relaxing break, since his little brother seemingly locked him in his room. His junior brother, Sione thought that he completely locked his door, But Magnus just needed to press a single on his wrist band for the door to open. Since the Starship was on autopilot and with Sione not possessing the required authorization to mess with most functions of the starship, I can take a some time off from baby sitting Sione.

And just as Magnus was getting ready to fall asleep one more time, The Door suddenly opened and Sione came running into the room. " Big brother is sorry Sione, I was tired yesterday, I will play with you today. Ok". But that's when Sione noticed the always cheerful Sione was bawling.

Just as he was about ask what happened, Sione ran and hugged Magnus's thigh and started to cry even higher. Sione was trying to say something but the little boy was unable to speak anything due to how much he is crying.

While wondering what made his cute junior cry so much, another person entered the room.

When Race entered after Sione, He felt some killing intent.

"What the fuck did you do to my little brother"

A cold voice questioned Race.
