1 Chapter 1 Starting!

"Damn it! Why the hell is magic always so weak when a cultivation character comes in?" exclaimed the young man with a mix of frustration and anger, squeezing his cellphone in his hands. His voice echoed in the small room, filled with disappointment in the apparent weakness of magic.

"You know what? I'm going to create a book about this! I'll develop a magic system and transport my character to the cultivation world, where he'll show the true magical power, even if the inhabitants of that world have no knowledge of magic," declared the young man, feeling inspired by the idea taking shape in his mind. With determination, he grabbed his cellphone and began writing frantically.

"How will this system be, then? Oh, I know! I'll add a shop function, along with an imagination function. This imagination function will work like this: my character will be able to conceive any kind of magic in his mind, no matter what it is, and the system will assign a price to that magic," whispered the young man, appreciating the creation that was taking form. He wanted a powerful system but with challenges to obtain the magic. Thus, he finished creating the system on his cellphone.

"Hehehehe! It's done! Let's see who's superior: magic or qi!" exclaimed the young man with a satisfied smile. Now, it was time to start planning the world that awaited him. However, suddenly, his movements were interrupted by a strong pain in his chest.

"What's happening? It hurts so much! Ahhh! It's unbearable pain," cried the young man, feeling himself collapse to the ground, his face contorted in anguish. He desperately tried to dial the emergency number on his cellphone.

"Am I... going to die?" said the young man with difficulty, feeling his eyes heavy and his eyelids gradually closing. His body felt incredibly heavy, while his heart hurt so much that it felt like it would be torn in half. The last thought that crossed the young man's mind was, "I should have at least shared the system, just to post it."

---------------------

"Excuse me!" exclaimed the young man with black hair, pushing someone aside to make way as he rushed hurriedly. He wore a worn and dirty white cloak, showing signs of wear. His steps were fast and determined.

"If I miss this opportunity, Liu Feng, you'll pay!" muttered the young man, annoyed with the situation, as he ran towards a small house located at the end of a bustling street. His goal was clear: to wake up Liu Feng so as not to miss the chance to take the test and join the Lotus Sect.

"Liu Feng, wake up! We're going to miss the chance to take the test for the Lotus Sect!" the young man anxiously shouted, repeatedly banging on the aged doors of Liu Feng's house.

Inside the house, a young man with a surprised expression was sitting. His ordinary face showed a mixture of astonishment and confusion. His long, black hair was disheveled, and he wore a black cloak that covered his body.

"I've transmigrated? Liu Feng is my name. Well, here I am, in the cultivation world," exclaimed Liu Feng as he rose from the bed. He recognized the familiar voice of his friend, Chen Tao, and headed towards the door, but was interrupted by a sound echoing in his mind.

[Magic system activated]

Liu Feng's eyes widened, an indescribable emotion taking hold of him. It seemed to be the system he had created himself, but the question that plagued him was: is it truly the system he wrote? Liu Feng swallowed hard at the mere thought of it.

"Open!" Liu Feng said hopefully, although his expectation was tempered, he deeply wished it to be true.

Two messages appeared in front of his face, and Liu Feng let out a radiant smile. He had never imagined that the system he had created would accompany him on this new journey.

"Liu Feng! You're taking too long in there! We're going to miss the chance to take the test!" A loud knock on the door snapped Liu Feng out of his reverie; it was the voice of his friend, clearly irritated.

"I'm coming!" Liu Feng opened the door, his eyes meeting Chen Tao, who was visibly annoyed at that moment.

"Let's go already, we've wasted enough time. Hurry up!" Chen Tao was about to shout at Liu Feng, but time was running out. He ran off.

Liu Feng ran after him, without looking at his system, as there was no time to waste. The two of them weaved through the people, passing by them. Liu Feng cast a quick glance at the houses, which had a distinct Chinese style. There wasn't much time to appreciate them, as he knew things would change once he joined a sect.

"They're there! Thank goodness we made it in time," said Chen Tao, sighing with relief. Liu Feng looked at everyone present, a total of eighteen participants, and noticed that three individuals stood out among them.

"Is that Zhang Ying over there, the second daughter of the city lord?" asked Liu Feng, curious, to his friend. He observed the girl in question, her vibrant purple hair reaching her waist, and her purple eyes complementing her unusual appearance. She wore a black cloak with golden details, concealing the elegance of her body, although her slightly larger breasts hinted at her beauty. With long eyelashes and a face that could be considered the epitome of beauty, with red lips, Liu Feng had never seen such a stunning woman in his entire life.

"Yes, that's her. Guess who's taking the test to enter the Lotus Sect this year? It's her sister, did you know that?" said Chen Tao proudly, revealing non-confidential information.

"I see. I've never seen her before. Only heard rumors," Liu Feng spoke the truth, in the memory of this body, he really didn't recall seeing anything about Zhang Ying's sister.

"I've heard she's incredibly beautiful, apparently she married an elder from the Lotus Sect. He's quite famous, but I have no idea who he is." Chen Tao spoke like those neighbors who spend the whole day gossiping with each other.

"The son of the Lin family, Lin Long. He seems quite strong." Liu Feng couldn't help but comment. He was a bit surprised to see that Lin Long's long hair was blond. He really didn't expect that, Lin Long is quite a handsome man.

"I heard he's at the ninth level of Qi Refinement. I think he and Zhang Ying are the strongest ones here." Chen Tao said a bit enviously, as he hadn't even come close to that level. He hadn't even entered Qi Refinement yet since he never cultivated.

"It's going to be difficult to pass this test, depending on how it's structured." Liu Feng said, hoping that the test wouldn't be too difficult, at least not involving fighting against other participants. Based on his memories, he knew he hadn't even reached the first level of Qi Refinement since he didn't even have a cultivation technique.

Liu Feng looked at the last standout participant, whose hair was short and fiery red like flames. He wasn't wearing anything on top, just pants on the bottom. His well-defined muscles were on display for all to see. He stood next to Zhang Ying, sporting a confident smile on his face.

"Who's that next to her? Do you know?" Liu Feng inquired, curious.

"Hm. Oh yeah, he's her servant. He accompanies her everywhere, and I've heard that he's also at the ninth level of Qi Refinement," Chen Tao replied.

"Do you spend all day listening to gossip?" Liu Feng retorted playfully, impressed by how much Chen Tao resembled those aunts who spend the whole day gossiping.

"I have to stay well-informed," Chen Tao replied, smiling.

"Look over there!" someone shouted.

Everyone turned their gaze upwards as a majestic creature descended from the sky. It was a stunning owl with shimmering purple feathers, large enough to be considered a giant owl. Riding atop it was a woman. Her long purple hair danced in the wind, while her black eyes were like the universe itself. Clad in an imposing purple cloak, she landed in front of the participants, perched on the owl.

"I see the elder!" All the participants bowed, placing their hands over their chests as a sign of respect. Even Liu Feng, who was busy checking his stats.

< Mana: 50 >

< Skill Points: 0 >

< Learned Spells: None >

His stats were simple. Liu Feng hoped no one had noticed that he took longer to bow. But even if they had, it shouldn't be too serious. From his memories, he couldn't recall anyone who resembled characters from novels, those young masters and the like. It was a shame to discover he was mistaken.

"You may stop bowing," the woman said, and Liu Feng lifted his head. However, he was frozen in place as he looked into the woman's black eyes.

"Seriously, she wouldn't want any trouble with me, right?" Liu Feng muttered, as the woman's eyebrows twitched, as if she had heard what he said. Just imagining that made Liu Feng hope she hadn't heard.

Zhang Ying noticed her sister looking at one of the participants. She followed her sister's gaze but didn't notice anything special about him. She couldn't sense his cultivation, and he wasn't handsome. He seemed to have nothing special about him.

"You must have been waiting for a long time. Let's proceed with the test. I know you're eager to enter the Lotus Sect," said the woman, one of the sect's elders, as she observed the participants' eager eyes.

"Everyone, climb onto the back of my owl! It will take us to the test location," the woman exclaimed sternly. The owl, sensing its master's purpose, lowered itself to the ground to allow the participants to climb aboard.

The brave participants began to ascend, although some trembled with fear. Liu Feng, with utmost care, stepped delicately onto the owl, fearing to cause any harm to the magnificence of the bird. In contrast, Chen Tao leaped onto it as if he were crushing a mere pile of mud.

Finally, Liu Feng settled down next to Chen Tao, who was already seated, pulsating with anticipation for the imminent start of the tests. The owl's wings began to beat vigorously as all the participants found their place on the back of the magnificent creature. With a smooth motion, the owl took off, soaring higher and higher into the sky.

"Did you hear the latest? Believe me, my reliable sources revealed something intriguing that I forgot to tell you," whispered Liu Feng, enjoying the breeze that caressed his face as his hands firmly grasped the owl's feathers. He caught his friend's voice, ready to share confidential "news."

"What have you discovered through these 'reliable' sources?" inquired Liu Feng as Chen Tao leaned in, conspiratorial. Chen Tao, cautious, glanced around furtively, ensuring no curious gaze was directed their way before unveiling his revelations.

"Do you know why the elder is here? She's competing with the other wives to secure the title of the Elder's heir mother. The information I obtained is that she must choose at least five participants from this new generation and make them win the prestigious inter-sect tournament. I've never seen women so obsessed with a penis before," whispered Chen Tao, the secret hanging between them like a curtain of mystery.

Liu Feng fell momentarily silent, unable to contain the surprise that spread across his face. With caution, he avoided any reaction that could betray his thoughts, aware that the elder could be within earshot. However, the magnitude of the revelation caught him off guard. He inwardly questioned the truthfulness of his friend's words, aware that truth could hide behind the smoke of rumors.

"Sister, are you alright? You seem troubled," asked Zhang Ying, concerned for her sister as she noticed the furrows of anger forming on her face. Zhang Ying's attentive gaze caught the tension in her sister's countenance, prompting her to express her concern.

"Don't worry, my dear Ying. I'm fine. I'm just reflecting on something in my mind," replied the woman, her eyes briefly flicking backwards where two of the participants seemed to be enjoying something unknown. The woman's eyebrows furrowed, briefly manifesting her disapproval, before redirecting her gaze forward, seeking to focus on the challenge that lay ahead.
