The Northern Continent, often called the Northern Ravages, was famous for its brutal winters and fierce beasts.

In this continent, beasts outnumbered humans by one to a hundred thousand. The Northern Ravages was the second largest continent but had the second smallest population.

From this harsh land, Yang Wei and Mu Lingxi started their journey to the Eastern Continent, also known as the Land of Supremes. This realm was full of unparalleled cultivators and ancient mysteries.

They traveled on majestic creatures called Spirit Dragons.

These dragons weren't just any common mounts one could buy from any spirit beast market.

To get one, a beast-tamer had to either find a spirit dragon egg by chance or buy one from an upper-class market, then spirit-refine the egg for ten cycles using the spiritual energy of other lower spirit beasts.
