1 chapter 1 the introduction

dear diary I'm Max I want to be a wizard so bad and I am waiting for my invitation and magic academy the top school for magic. I'm a wizard the thing is I'm not that good at magic. I'm still learning how to do floating spells and stuff. magic is not as easy as it looks. well for some people like me but I've never given up on my dreams. I'm waiting for the mail to get here so I can see if I got in. it's not that hard to get into magic academy if your parents are wizards and witches. my mom's a witch and my dad is a wizard. my family comes from a long line of wizards and witches my great-great-great-grandfather was one of the top most amazing wizards.but it ain't looking like I'm following his footsteps though . the reason my grandfather was so famous was he came up with spells every day that no one ever heard of and was able to do them. he was able to bring back the dead cure people and stuff like that . but all I can do it's transport myself three feet from where I am . I know that sounds pretty silly for both my parents to be witches and wizards and me coming from a great line of people but it's true. that's why I want to go to the school so I can learn better magic and be like them. my father says and if I get into this school you'll never see me as a disappointment again. and all I want is my father's approval. ever since I was 5 when he started teaching me magic he said I was a disappointment. but I'm going to prove to him that I not I'm going to prove to him that I was as good as him . how to make it's cool I don't know what I'll do I'll be the laughingstock of my school. that's all I got for you today. sincerely Max
