13 13: Leviathan

"Again..." With a sigh, Byron left the black cloud that was produced by the explosion. What he was doing? Well, he was trying to create a permanent obelisk that will serve as a portal, it exploded by the third time today because Byron can't stop the Cosmic Energy to fuse together with Rune Energy while he is enchanting... "Wait, what if j create the portal a few kilometers away underwater? That's an amazing idea!" Byron prized himself, he stretched his wings and flew northwards towards the sea, on the way he continued to detect the Cosmic Energy when he received a call from Markus. "Father, I can't tell you all the details now, but I was invited to participate in a new organization that will fight against Hydra, they are naming it SHIELD. Should I participate?" Byron pondered for a while and said: "Listen, son, you can do what you want to do. You are 19 now, still a virgin though." Markus sigh was heard by Byron who laughed. "Okay then, I will infiltrate in the SHIELD."

The call ended there, Byron felt the Cosmic Energy getting weaker, so he dived in the ocean, he used [Earth Rune] to create two pillars underwater, then he used [Water Rune], [Barrier Rune], [Space Rune], [Circle Rune], and [Reflect Rune] to create a stable and functional portal that will connect with his base in New York. Tartarus' base in New York is in an old fashioned library that Byron created, he used runs to hide it and protect it from intruders. When the portal connected with New York's base, Byron smiled because it worked! He then created a dome that will protect everyone from the ocean water, not only the ocean... Years of Cosmic radiation mutated some creatures. Giant Seagulls were the first "monster" Byron found, later he found a giant lizard with wings, a dragon. Byron actually liked those monsters.

But the real problem is the sea monsters. There are Giant Lion Turtles that are really peaceful and friendly, Sea Serpents that are aggressive and poisonous, and Byron's new pet. Leviathan! The Leviathan is basically a giant whale with bird wings that can shot laser beams from its mouth. The beam is powerful enough to break Byron's [Barrier Rune]! It was a pity to kill it, and it seemed sapient so... Byron used [Soul Rune] + [Power Rune] + [Contract Rune] + [Control Rune] to create a powerful contract that would make the Leviathan 100% loyal to him. He also transformed the giant whale into his subordinate, making a half-demon half-sea monster... But he is so cute! Yes, it is a male, no whale-girl for ya.

"Levy, let's go." Byron ended his safety measures and left the dry sphere back into the ocean, just the presence of a rare Leviathan Whale made all the sea monsters in the vicinity run away with fear. A white flying whale appeared and licked Byron, who just laughed and jumped into it's back. Levy (Le-vai), as Byron calls it, has 4 pairs of wings, Two big and two small. And the tail itself is also a wing... Anyway, Byron was satisfied with this result and went back to the Tartarus Archipelago to continue to build several houses and other necessary things because Harold will bring his Soldiers to his Island in this Archipelago (There's actually 5 Islands, Each island is owned by his children and the central island is owned by himself, he is building houses in Harold's Island)

After some hours of work all the buildings were completed, there will be some Commoners too. Let me explain some things about the Tartarus' Ranking System, this system is based on the Divine Demon Ranking, Byron being the leader because he is a {Emperor Rank}, Markus, Harold, Alexandra, and Evy being the four with more authority than others because they are {King Ranks}, then there are the {Noble Ranks} that maintain order, {Soldier Rank} are the fighting force and {Commoner Rank} are the workers. Byron also created another rank: {Captain Rank}, when a {Soldier} is strong enough he will receive the {Captain} title and have the authority to order 10 {Soldiers} of its choice. There will also be jobs and money system, as an {Emperor} Byron wants to have his own county, and that's what he is creating right now.

"Father, we are ready to go." Harold's voice came out of Byron's watch, Byron looked around himself searching for the best place to open a portal... There. Opening the portal in a giant tree (more than 100 Meters), Byron nodded his head and left the place, his pressure could make the poor {Soldier Rank} faint just by looking at him! Harold received permission to cross the portal Byron connected with his position and walked forward. Behind him, 100 Demonic Soldiers and some of their families were stunned by this scene... A big blue circle big enough to every pass simply appeared out of thin air! "Let's go," Harold said while walking forward, his body disappeared as soon as he touched the blue circle... Others did the same and everyone crossed the portal.

When they arrived on the other side, they were stunned! Giant trees with big leaves that blocked the sunlight, it was like the shrank. This was Byron's work, each Island was different, Harold's Island has giant everything! Animals, Trees, Flowers, and etcetera. Walking forward and ignoring the stunned followers, Harold said: "Let's go!" they followed him until they arrived at the city that Byron constructed... Made out of complete iron, with floating buildings, fountains... He almost copied New York! Harold smiled embarrassed and said: "Okay, choose a house. You can live wherever you like, tomorrow at 6 Am all the soldiers will come with me. Don't be late." Saying this, he simply disappeared. The soldiers and commoners just did what he said and selected a house where they would live. All the houses had the same: Four rooms, one basement, one kitchen, one bathroom, and one little garden.

Harold flew all the way to Byron's main island and when he arrived he saw Byron chilling with Leviathan, he was drawing some runes while the big whale was sleeping on the beach. "Father." with only one word Harold woke up the whale who looked at him, Byron smiled and asked: "You liked the city I made? I'm thinking about making different styles for each island... Your island will be Futuristic Island, Alexandra will be Eastern Island, Markus will be Fantasy Island, and Evy will be... I guess I should make Evy's island have a fantasy feeling and to Markus, I guess a modern Western is enough to make him happy. Oh, Harold, remember what I told you about meeting an interesting creature? Met Levy!" Byron smiled wide while touching the sleeping albino lazy whale who was sleeping.

"And what is this?" Asked Harold while poking Levy. "He is a Leviathan. I met some of his species, they just fly around and take care of their territory, and when is mating they reunite, and just like whales, the females take care of the cubs." Harold touched Lavy's left smaller wings and said: "So he flies?" Byron nodded his head and touched Levy's body waking him up instantly. He got up from the sand just by floating. "He didn't exactly need his wings if he wants to fly, but it makes him fly faster and also attract females' attention. The bigger the wings, the higher the chance of mating... Wings represent strength for Leviathans." Explained Byron while getting to Levy's back. Harold looked at the big wings of Levy, he hasn't seen any other Whale Leviathan so he can't tell if Levy's wings are big or not...

"Hey Harold, what do you think about having a pet?" asked Byron suddenly as he and Harold were flying around Byron's island, (the one around the giant skull) and looking at the forest below. "Well, I like reptiles like Snakes." Byron smile grew wider and he asked: "What about a Dragon?" Harold confused asked: "Dragon?" Byron nodded and jumped off Levy's back and went to tame a dragon!
