The Tale of the Poor Little Rich Girl

During the Science class, Jessie was called by her teacher to recite. Oh, she really hates Science. For her, this is her least favorite subject. The teacher asks her to explain the Big Bang Theory. As usual, she already forgot what she had read on the text last night. As a punishment, her teacher let her stand at the front for the one hour.

The teacher called another student named Arthur. Arthur is very handsome and very smart. Every girls fall for him. Arthur answer the teacher's question, and the teacher is satisfied with the answer.

At the lunch, Jessie and her special friend Gregory have lunch together at the cafeteria.

Jessie said, "I wished I could be more like Arthur. He is so handsome and so smart. That is why he became the most popular guy in school."

Gregory said, "You are also smart and talented. Just focus on your hard subjects. Don't mind what other people say about you."

Jessie smiled at Gregory, "You only say that because you are my special friend."

After sipping his glass of juice, Greg asked her, "Are you going to the Science Fair this Saturday? Everybody will be going. I am so excited to show them my new science project. I bet I would get a first prize for that."

Jessie shrugged, "You always get the second prize, Gregory, since you joined the Science Fair when we were in grade school. Oh, I wished I could be more like you. You are so optimistic, creative and inventive all the time."

When the day of the event came, Jessie went to Science Fair alone. She is looking for Gregory. On the other hand, the three lovely girls in their class saw her. Ana is the leader of the group. She is also a cheerleader.

She said, "Here she comes now looking for her nerd partner."

Riva, Ana's friend, who always win the dancing competition said, "Jessie is so pretty. But, she really needs a real boyfriend. But not Gregory!"

Alicia, whose opinion is not always considered by these two, insisted, "Oh, I think Gregory is such a cutie."

Ana said, "It's time for a makeover. Let us share our beauty secrets to her. We can sell to her our magic potion. She can be part of our clique."

Riva agreed, "You're right, girl!"

Alicia agreed, "What are we waiting for! Let's approach her."

Whey they approached Jessie, Riva explained to her about their magic potion. At first, Jessie could not believe that this magic potion is very powerful.

Jessie said, "Do you think this is safe? I could get poisoned while drinking that."

Ana convinced her, "It is safe. We already tried it. Look! I became smart and beautiful head cheerleader."

Riva added, "Okay! Do you really want to catch guys' attention?"

Jessie shrugged, "I think I do not need guys' attention. I am so sorry, girls. I am not interested at that potion."

When Jessie saw Arthur passed by, Jessie smiled at him. Arthur waived back and greeted her.

Alicia noticed the two of them, "I knew you really like Arthur. I saw the way you smiled at him. You can also get his attention if you want. Come. Let's drink this potion."

Jessie was confused, "Are you really sure it is safe?"

Alicia replied, "Yes. We already tried this. "

Jessie is so curious, "How does it taste like?"

Riva gives her the orange bottle and explained, "It comes in different flavours. Here is your favorite. I know you loved orange, right?"

Jessie took the battle. She opened t. She took a sip from it until she finished the whole bottle.

Jessie remarked, "You got to be kidding. It has no effect on me."

Riva explained, "Oh, you would not feel any pain in the stomach while drinking that. But, at first, you would get dizzy. After that, you would feel refreshed, energized and enlightened."

Jessie paid for the bottle of potion she got from them. She also sad goodbye to them and left. And, she is headed to Gregory's booth. Suddenly, she fainted on the ground. Some of the students who saw her fainted came to her and brought her to the nearest clinic.
