42 Farce

The fireballs shot towards Izzy who squinted from the brightness.

" Great now I'm going to end up blind!" The fireballs were so close, that Izzy almost screamed and then they disappeared in the air.

' What are you doing! Stop spacing out or they're gonna think something is wrong!'

Theonymphi shouted and Izzy followed suit sprouting a random spell from a book and waving her hand. Weigela clutched the railings eager to see what kind of powers Izzy had. From the attack and spell, Weigela saw that she was a wind user.

" We're both wind users! " she exclaimed happily. Leithi stood beside her watching Izzy, he wanted to see if she would win and also was a little worried that she would get hurt.

" Nice," the pigtailed girl said. She rolled up her sleeve and her mouth curved into a wicked smile.

" Now I'm going to burn you to a crisp".

" Oh, beautiful flames here my call!" The girl sand and five flames appeared behind her they danced back and forth.

" Fire blades..." Leithi said Weigela gripped the railings. Fire blades was a low ranked spell but from what was shown the girl had perfected the spell. Fire blades if cultivated correctly dealt the same damage as a high levelled spell.

Weigela was worried because she knew how low Izzy's power level was and that there was no way a simple wind spell could take on Fire blades.

' She's getting serious. Get ready to act like you actually have power'

Izzy pulled a sour face, "..."

" Die!" The girl shouted.

Izzy stuck out her hands and through her connection with Theonymphi could feel the spell that he intended to deal out. It was a defensive wall to block of the blades and then a rapid wind spell to nullify the fire, since to much air could kill the fire.

" Protection of great spirit wind!" Izzy shouted and the sharp fire blades got stuck into the wall. They wiggled about and then Izzy moved her arms in a circle and the wind picked up snuffing out the flame.

Izzy was relieved but then the flames erupted into like and shot towards her. Luckily Theonumphi had predicted this and erected a second wall. The blades got stuck again and the pigtailed girl cried out.

" Ahhhh! Just die!" More blades appeared and surrounded Izzy.

' Tsk Tsk Tsk, what a small fry' Theonymphi sighed ' Girl let's end this'.

Izzy nodded in agreement, she wanted to get off of the stage immediately, there a gnawing feeling in her stomach. That made her wary.

Izzy feigned casting a spell and knocked the girl out of the stage resulting in victory. Weigela cheered and Leithi clapped they were both happy and glad that Izzy was safe.

Once she got off the stage Izzy felt the reddish eyes of the pigtailed girl on her back. She shivered, these people were vicious and she felt like the girl would try and get her back.
