Trick 90: Just a friendly bout between two regular ole chaps
Bellatrix started giggling strangely and Ace turned around to see a snake looking man. Ace was confused and asked "Um. You are?" The man hummed, "Me? Just your regular old chap. And you?" Ace nodded and frowned, "Just the same."
The man nodded and said "That's good. CRUCIO!" Ace waved his hands up and blocked the Crucio with a purple shield, runes swimming on the surface. The man said "Very impressive! How about this one? Crucio Maxima!"
The barrier started cracking and Ace frowned, sliding his hands sideways as he stomped on the ground.
A pillar rose in front of him and Ace ran out from the side, throwing fireballs at the man, who slapped them out of the way, asking "Is that all?"
Ace frowned and said "Not quite." as he slapped his hands together and crossed his wrists, a magic circle appearing. Ace asked "Do you like snakes?" The man retorted, "I prefer dragons." Ace smiled, "A shame."
Countless snakes sprung out from the magic circle, hissing and biting at the man, who frowned, waving his wand, casting a wall of flames.
Ace pressed his fists on top of each other and blew into the hole, a massive blast of air snuffing the flames out and blowing the man off his feet, but strangely not far!
He floated in the air and said "Impressive. What sort of magic is this?" Ace replied "Noneya." as he clapped his hands and pulled out a glowing ball, twisting it around before pulling on it like a bow, shooting it at the man.
It sounded long but it took less than a moment!
The man waved his wand and deflected the ball arrow away, but Ace snapped his fingers, manipulating the ball as his eyes glowed purple. The ball twisted into a cone shape and curved, turning towards the man again.
It exploded into flaming birds that swarmed the man, detonating, into a massive explosion.
Ace frowned and muttered "What the hell, man…" he waved at the stone pillar and it shattered, forming into little dragons that flew around Ace, turning into pure flames as the man revealed himself to be unharmed.
Ace asked "Who are you?" The man smiled as he replied "You couldn't possibly not know me." Ace frowned, "Voldemort?" Voldemort grinned "Correct." Ace retorted "Not someone I would describe as a 'regular old chap'." while throwing his hands forward, the dragons flew towards Voldemort, who waved his arms, pulling all the dragons into a fireball and breathing it back out into a massive snake!
Ace looked at the giant snake and frowned, bending his knees as he narrowed his eyes, his magic circles rotating around his arms. The snake lunged at him and he stomped on the ground, the floor turning into a pillar and shooting him into the air as the snake turned up.
He threw out his hand and snapped at the flaming snake, turning it into water before waving his hands and sending it back as it froze into an ice snake.
Voldemort flicked out his wand and Ace curled his fingers, his wand flying back into his hands as Voldemort shattered the frozen snake. Ace waved out his wand, the little shards of ice shooting back at Voldemort, who threw up a barrier.
The ice turning into dust before curling and spinning into spears, stabbing at Ace, who jumped back down off the pillar, dodging spears as he twisted in the air.
He slapped one spear, turning it to confetti before waving his hand as the confetti glistened, flying out and cutting the other spears back to dust as they fell to the ground.
Ace flipped and landed back on the ground, looking up at Voldemort, who said "Impressive." Ace retorted "The Dark Lord compliments people?" Voldemort retorted "They all died in the end." as he thrusted the wand forward, adding "Enough games." as a beam of green energy shot towards Ace instantly.
He slapped his hands together, pulling them apart as a deck of cards appeared, forming a shield in front of him, blocking the Avada Kedavra as he flicked out his wand, blasting a purple beam back.
Voldemort snorted and flicked his hand as the green beam wrapped around the purple one, shooting towards Ace, who was stunned. He didn't know you could do that! He blocked with the shield and was sent flying backwards, slamming into the ground.
Voldemort landed on the ground, about to throw out another killing curse, only to have to block as Hermione appeared, throwing a "Stupefy" spell at him. Voldemort slid back on the ground and looked at Hermione in confusion, not understanding why her spell was so powerful.
Ace got up and waved out his hand as his cards multiplied, putting Hermione in a box. He threw out his other hand and runes ran across the box as Voldemort threw an Avada Kedavra spell at it, only for it to be blocked.
Ace slapped the ground and it cracked open, spreading to Voldemort, who stomped on the ground, shutting the crack but creating a hole. He waved his wand up and magma flew out shooting towards Ace, who made a fist over his mouth, holding his wand at the end before blowing out.
A massive blizzard flew out from his fist, solidifying the magma as Voldemort waved his wand again, the solid magma turned into a snake and lunged at Ace, who rolled out of the way, waving his wand behind him, muttering "Reducto."
Voldemort thrusted his wand at Ace, shouting "Avada Kedavra!" Ace's eyes widened and he put up a purple shield, however another beam of light appeared, colliding with the killing curse.
Ace turned to see Dumbldedore appear and step in front of him!
Ace let out a breath of relief before running to Hermione and waving all the cards at Voldemort, who slapped his hand at them while fighting Dumbledore.
The cards exploded into flames, but Dumbledore flicked at the water in the fountain of the Ministry, caughting Voldemort off caught and trapping him in a bubble of flowing water.
Ace took Hermione back and pushed her behind him as he backed off, looking around only to find that Bellatrix escaped. He cursed and Harry came out of the room, gasping "Voldemort!"
He ran over to help but Ace grabbed him, pulling him back as he said "Stop, Harry!" Harry turned and said "Ace! What happened?" Ace sighed "Bellatrix escaped." before turning to Hermione, chastising "How reckless of you! I assumed you knew better!"
Hermione retorted, "I was trying to help!" Ace frowned and said "Your safety is number 1 priority! I don't need your help! Even if I die, you have to live! Do you understand what I'm saying??" Hermione shut her mouth and frowned with an ugly face.
Ace rubbed her head and said "I appreciate it, but it's too soon for you. You are not strong enough to encounter him."
Voldemort escaped and they continued dueling until Voldemort attacked Ace's group, Dumbledore blocked with a shield, looking at Voldemort silently.
Voldemort scowled and disappeared into a twister of dust.
Ace let out a breath, patting Dumbledore's shoulder, saying "Hey, old man! You're not too bad! Haha! I thought I was done for there!" Dumbledore rolled his eyes and said "the children are fine?"
Ace smiled and nodded, Dumbledore let out a breath and held his hands on his hips. Ace patted his back and laughed "Now I can say I know the guy who made the Dark Lord run away like a scared dog! Hahaha!"
Dumbledore snorted in amusement looking at him funnily as Hermione smiled, however!
Harry fell to the ground and started twitching!
Dumbledore ran over to him, saying "Harry?! Are you alright!?" Harry just groaned and Ace looked at Harry with worry, "What's going on, old man!?" Dumbledore frowned, "Voldemort is trying to enter his mind."
Ace asked quickly "What do we do!?" Hermione held Harry and turned to Dumbledore, who sighed "We can only pray Harry wins." Ace frowned and grabbed Harry saying "Come on, Harry! You've come too far to lose now! Remember that time you turned that turban dude to dust?!"
Hermione shouted "Or the time you conjured 'that' patronus charm!" Dumbledore looked at Hermione and Ace, smiling in gratification.
Harry squirmed on the ground as Ron, Ginny, Neville, and Luna appeared, running over, shouting "Harry?! What's going on!?" everyone surrounded him and Dumbledore waved, "Stay back!"
Ace pulled the kids off of Harry as Dumbledore stepped back, Harry looked at them and groaned in pain, saying softly "You're the weak one…" Ace blinked and looked at Dumbledore, who nodded at him.
Ace whispered in Hermione's ear and she shouted "Remember when I turned into a cat person?" while turning to Ron, who said "Or the time when Gilderoy lost his own memories?"
Neville stuttered "Or the time I to-told you about my p-parents!" Ginny added, "Or the time you saved me from the Basilisk!" Luna smiled, "And the time in the woods with the Thestrals."
Harry shouted in pain and squirmed on the ground, saying "You'll never know love or friendship… and I pity you!"
Time stopped for everyone except Harry as Voldemort leaned over him, saying "You're a fool, Harry Potter. And you will lose everything." as he waved his wand at him, shaking his head.
Time resumed and Voldemort looked around as the floo network roared to life, people from the Ministry appearing one after the other.
Ace spread his hands out in front of the kids, looking at Voldemort warily. Dumbledore looked at him as Voldemort snorted in anger, waving his hand and disappearing as Cornelius shook in terror, muttering "He's back!?"
Ace let out a breath of relief and leaned on Hermione, saying "God damn. I nearly pissed myself." Hermione held him up, saying funnily "I don't think that's a good thing, Master."
Ron chuckled and helped Harry up as Dumbledore let out a breath.
