160 Trick 159: Throwing your wife through a wall!

A while later

Sharon walked into the room and said "Room for one more?" the kids looked back and Ace said "Actually, we're full." Sharon crossed her arms and said "Ace, I-" Ace clapped and said "Look at that, it's a 2 player game now. You guys stay here, okay? I need to talk to mom."

The duo nodded happily and sat down, saying "I'm first." "Idiot! We're both playing!" "But you suck! I don't want to play with you." "Shut up, loser!" "You want me to cave your face in!?"

Ace waved behind him as he walked to Sharon, the two kids suddenly knocked heads and said "Ow!" Ace looked at Sharon and said "Be nice, if I see you two fighting again, you're not gonna like what happens after."

They rubbed their heads and said in unison "Okay…" before spitting their tongues out and glaring at each other.

Ace smiled and grabbed her neck, saying "Let's go somewhere private, yeah?" before disappearing.

They reappeared in another room and Ace slammed her against a wall, saying "Oh? So tough. It's a wonder, maybe you could fight Steve!" Sharon said "Ace, please. Let me-ugh!" as Ace lifted her up against the wall by her throat, smiling "What was that?"

Sharon slapped his hand and said strenuously "I can't breathe!" Ace grinded his teeth, pulled her to him, before throwing her through a table of glass, it shattered and she landed on the ground, groaning "Ow…"

Ace pinched the air as he walked over, stepping on the glass, a cigarette appearing in his hand. He put it in his mouth and snapped his finger, a flame appearing, lighting the cigarette as he looked at her on the ground, asking "How you been, Sharon?"

She propped herself up on the ground, rubbing her throat as she said "I know you're angry but listen to me." Ace kicked a chair out the window shouting "ANGRY?! No, no, no. We're way past angry! Are you a fucking idiot!?"

He picked her up by her hair and roared "You're something else! A real fucking catch! I die and come back to see you turned my two little angels into devils! Nice movements they have! How long have they started training to be assassins?" before he kicked her in the stomach, sending her flying through the wall into another room.

Sharon coughed on the ground and said "I didn't have a choice!" Ace stepped through the hole in the wall, laughing "Oh really?! Do you know why I left you all these things for my eventual death? It was for you to escape! Not for you to set up an underworld empire! You stupid bitch! What's wrong with you!?"

Sharon clenched her fist and jumped up, punching Ace in the face, shooting him through the wall. He flipped and landed on the ground, sliding back as he looked up at her, exhaling smoke through his nose as his jaw clicked back into place, the cigarette still hanging from his lips.

She let out a breath and shouted "YOU died! YOU left ME! AGAIN! Remember that?!" she took off her heels and stomped on the wall, knocking it down as she continued "How about a 'I miss you, Sharon' or 'I love you' or a 'I'm glad you're okay!' Nothing?!"

Ace scratched the bridge of his nose, chuckling as he turned around throwing a dresser at her as he shouted, "MAYBE! IF YOU DIDN'T BRING OUR KIDS TO THIS SHITHOLE! TRAINING THEM TO BE ASSASSINS! THIS IS WORTHY OF A 'I MISS YOU'?! ARE YOU BRAINDEAD!? HONESTLY!"

Sharon caught the dresser and stepped back, throwing it at him as she shouted "They need to learn something! They're not like you! They don't know magic! This world is a tough place! I just want them safe!" Ace vaporized the dresser roaring "THEY WOULD BE IF YOU DIDN'T COME HERE!"

Sharon shouted angrily "I had nowhere else! You stupid bastard!" she walked to him with tears in her eyes and smashed on his chest, crying "You left! You left me again! You're always leaving! I can't! I couldn't stay there! Not in that place! Not without you! I went everywhere and they always found me! Nobody helped us, nobody cared!"

She broke down and fell to her knees, holding onto his hoodie, crying "I had nowhere else to go… You were the only one in my corner and you left…" Ace's lower lip trembled and his eyes watered as he closed them, saying in a barely audible voice "The kids, Sharon… They don't deserve this…"

Sharon cried and sobbed, "I… I'm not like you… I don't know anything else… I trained them in what I know… I only want the best for them but I don't know what to do… Everything fell apart when you left… When I saw the people coming back I thought you would come to me, but months passed and there wasn't even a mention of you. Nothing with the Avengers, nothing about saving the universe, nothing… I thought you were one of the permanent ones…"

She let go of his hoodie and sniffed, "And then I found out you went to that magic debacle in Westview… I wanted to come but I was scared. I knew you would react like this, I was scared and hid here…" Ace looked down at her and knelt down slowly, grabbing her face, turning it to him from the ground.

Her eyes were red and puffy as she sniffled, her lips quivering as she said "I'm sorry." Ace looked into her eyes and hugged her, staying silent. She hugged him and gripped his back tightly, closing her eyes as tears escaped again.

Ace let her go and stood up, walking to the door as he waved, everything going back to normal. Sharon turned to him and he said "I… I won't be joining your party… I need to think about some things." he opened his mouth to say something else before closing his mouth and leaving the room, closing the door behind him.

A sob escaped Sharon's lips and she laid on the ground, crying in silence.
