2 The one with stars in her eyes
"I know what everyone's thinking right now, what happened to the world we used to live in? I'll tell you all about it. You see we got infested by a plague called 'PARASITE', this plague only affects animals, like snakes, chickens, rabbits, dogs e.t.c. It makes them bloodthirsty and they feed on the only source of food they see, us, we don't know how this virus came about, but all we know is that it has something to do with the gates of al-nur. Al-nur is the demon of mischief and honesty, funny how one man or demon can possess two opposite characters but rumor has it, Al-nur has a brother living in him Ra-mon, no one is sure yet that's why they are called rumors. Anyways I'll go back to the story of the gates, Al-nur loved mankind and also hated it, you would expect that because he has two sides. He created a gate, once opened it would grant your deepest desires but will only grant them once, after it does it kills you, you see the gates have two sides just like Al-nur, the good side grants your wish while the bad side takes away your soul, it's a 'I win, you lose situation' my quest in this world is to eliminate these parasites even though it costs me my life."
Clanger town border
Neo walks into Clanger town through the gates and is stopped by border officials
"Your name and your ID," he said.
"Neo" he replied
"Neo who?" the official asked.
"Please let me in I'm hungry." a little girl runs to the gate and pleas.
"Is this what you really do here? People are dying and all you can think about is the reputation of clanger town, that's really low if you ask me" Neo said in pity for the little girl
"Well, no one asked you" the official replied Neo.
"Little girl, what's your name?" Neo asks.
"Liara, from old frost district" she replies
"Have you eaten?" he asked again.
"No, my mother died years ago and all I do is scavenger for food" she replies.
"It's going to be okay, " he put his hand in his jacket, brings out a big loaf of bread and gives her. "I hope this will be okay for today?" He asks.
She looks with surprise at this stranger, could he be an angel she thought.
"Thank you sir" she takes the bread.
"Now as I was saying, I need to go in, now" Neo gave a threatening smile.
"Is that a threat?"
"No, it's a warning"
"Do your worst" the official dared him.
"Gladly" lightning sparks in his eyes and a loud boom is heard at the boarders.
Smoke filled the place from the explosion, it was hard for anyone to see clearly but Liara sights Neo walking into clanger town from a distance, she runs to him and grabs his hand, Neo is shocked and turns to see who has him by the hand then he sees her smiling.
"Thank you sir" she hugs him.
He smiles at her in a gesture saying you're welcome and walks away.
At a local pub.
Neo sits at a table with one mug of beer in front of him and he overhears a conversation from a nearby table.
"Have you heard of Magi?" a man with a crossbow said. By their looks and appearance, they were hunters.
"Isn't that where the gates are?" Other replies.
"Yes, I heard there is a wizard in Malgarie who can open the portal to Magi and direct you the gates" the first man added.
"It's better if people stay away from that cursed gate, one man's wish caused this to happen" the last man said in anger when Neo walks to sit on their table, they look at him and one coughed.
"Sorry gentlemen but I couldn't help but overhear your conversation on, Magi" Neo asks.
"Yeah any problem" the first man replies.
"No, I just wanted to ask, this wizard in Malgarie, how do I meet him?" Neo asks.
The men bursts into laughter and the second man gets up to talk.
"Can I get your attention everyone" he said drawing attention to himself. "This young man asked me and my crew how to get into Malgariez"
The pub bursts into laughter and Neo is confused.
The last man passed Neo a beer and places a hand on his shoulder
"Don't be angry my friend is just being a fool, it's impossible to get into Malgarie" he said.
"Why?" Neo asks.
"Just like clanger town, they're strict rules against letting people into Malgarie"
"I heard about that but never thought it was true, thanks" he gets up and sees the second man laughing.
"You still want us to escort you to Malgarie" the second man made fun of him and he walks to the counter to drop 5 bags of gold.
"Sir this is too much for a glass of beer" the bartender said looking surprised at the stack of cash.
"I know, give everyone here drinks until the day goes down," he ordered.
"If I did it would still be too much" the bartender added.
"I know, the rest is for the damage I'm about to cause you" he walks to the second man and looks him in the eye.
"Wait sir what damage?" the bartender asks out of curiosity.
"This damage" he grabs the second man by the shirt and throws him out the window and walks away.
Everyone looks at him in surprise as he walks away.
"Drinks on the house!" the bartender yelled and everyone screamed in joy and a girl walks out of the pub and follows Neo.
