2 {Chapter 2}

"What!?" exploded Valerie. "you just going to send me away, like this?" She asked, her voice breaking. "Val"-" Lucas began, only to be rudely interrupted by Valerie "No! this is not fair. I tried my best to make you guys proud--all of you, proud; and the second I turn eighteen, am no longer wanted?" she questioned angrily.

"Val, you know that is not true" he tried to calm her down, without any success "Leave, at this point, I don't even care just leave" she whispered, loud enough for him to hear; he sighs walking away.

"It did not go so well, did it?" chuckled the magi of wind, Malik "no. It did not, she won't even talk to me." he moaned in distress "that's because you're soft. Go back up there and tell her: "Valerie, you are going to the human world, end of discussion" and put some bass in your voice." stated Johnatan, the magi of vox.

"Hush, Johnatan, she has the right to be angry, after all, we decided for her without consulting her first." scolded Lexy.

Valerie's POV

I can't believe after everything we've been through they are just going to ship me off to some unknown world, and have the audacity to expect me to quietly go along with it.

"Knock, knock" a voice interrupted my thoughts "go away!" I yelled hiding my face in the pillow "come on, Val, we are doing this for your own good" said Daniel, walking into the room.

Well, that's a first, Daniel is usually the quiet one out of the bunch; he does not speak unless he has to. "Why? I mean I thought we were family, but now-" I sigh "now, nothing. We are and will always be your family. Although it was a hard decision to make, it had to be done" "I know it's hard to understand, but that's why I am here. What do you want to know?" he asked with a grin.

"Everything," I replied, my voice cold and serious "Uhm, where do I begin" I could see it was awkward for him "from the beginning " I sassed.
