mage school chapter 1

My first day of mage school entrance exams where ruffer than I expected them to be. I already knew that I was smart enough to enter. but being elagable for intro to fast track was a bit of a surprise as I'm not a genius.

my class list for this year includes rank prep, music year one, into to fast track ,magiflow, science, and metasceience. I tested out of a few classes so I got 100% in a few of the pre year exams and entrance exams as well.

at the beginning of class I weighed standing as a first year I was not expected to do this but I did test into a few year two classes. I had taken this class on another school however it was marvelous public School that did not use magic and as I want to be a major it would be better for me to pay attention. I got the privilege of sitting in on the class as a tutor even though it's usually a privilege reserved for singing years above 2c designation.

" Good day class today is the first lesson the tutor will hand out your syllabus, my name is Miss Rainier and the two's name is student Ms Karny"

I noticed hushed whispers as the entire class stared at me for the unusual privilege of tutoring. being given such an opportunity they could tell that I was a first year like most of them except for a few 2c students heare for remedial work

they where the only ones in uniforms.

since I got a high enough score for the pre year exams I could have skipped the class however I would not have been able to tutor or even teach this class if I didn't show up for it being a wiz at Decorum and rules of proprietary was nothing compared with the next class I will have to attend.

(science 1)

I took a desk in the front of the class and stood at attention even though first year schollors don't really have to stand as we aren't ranked yet. at least I didn't fail the entrance exam for this class or else I would have been placed in remedial classes for all of the ones I tested out of I got the lowest passing score for this class 80%. we only got the silbus as a formality because of the high avridge. the only way to test out would be to get a 100% in any class pre year exam. I took notes meticulously as far as I could tell. to be quite honest this is probably a class that I could take at normal academy I feel as if this class is beneath me but honestly there is nothing that I could have done to study out of it other than take a few first-year classes at another academy before coming here. I just wanted my marits as quickly as possible. thankfully I tested completely out of mettascience for this year maybe I'll be able to assistant teach this year but I doubt it.

(intro to fast track)

Intro to fast track has no syllabus and is mostly a free study for subjects we want to get

further ahead in. Im studying my science as Im behind my peers and want to catch up and

,potentially get ahead. The first part of the year is mostly review for us however this class has all

the year one and two textbooks and a few year three specialty textbooks and since I passed to

intern with the third year scholars doing medical specialty I need to catch up on year one and

magibiology.

(metta science)

laws of magic are dictated in meta science. metta science also includes philosophy. the work of mages is magic and the use of it in an ethical manner. therefore that is the purpose of my learning this year I need to work hard even though I scored average for the class I still need to work hard to get ahead.
