5 The Anticipation

After getting my paid from the old man I finally can rest easy. As a day almost end, I planning to find place to sleep and I immediately fnding my way to the best tavern in the capital (in my opinion) to get the treats I deserved.

The tavern name was Knife & Fork, located nearby the adventure guild which make it target for many adventurer to spend theirs hard earned money. The tavern was three story building which provide also provide rooms to spend a night.

Before I even get to see the tavern, the sound of people merrie, clanking glass and laughing can be heard. Man, woman, dwarf, lizard-man and many more was happily drink to heart full without minding the world.

" Haaa, I miss this environment..." I reminiscence this place where my old group always spend good time together after arduous quest. The place has no noticeable changes except for all waitress and waiter which faces I never seen.

"What a pity I didn't to get to see Olivia-chan" As I lamenting for my bad luck, I order my regular favourite dish here, Bearwasp's honeyed coated bread with three headed mushroom soup.

"Aaahh, this healing me...the taste is always the same, delicious as always" I clean my bowl and paid before getting to upper floor to get a room for a night.

"A medium room with shower for a night please" I said to receptionist as I arrive at the upper floor counter.

"Please wait a minute" the receptionist take a moment to check and turned back to me

"There's one in third floor, and including the shower and medium room discount it will be 3 silver a night and 20 silver for a week" the receptionist said blandly as if she already speak this line for thousand times already.

"Hoh, price increase again it... here 3 silver" I passed the money and the receptionist accepted without talking back to me.

"The room's number is 301, and have a good night sir" the receptionist gave me the key and said in same bland tone.

" You too..." I said as I promptly left to my room.

After unpacking my stuff and clean myself, the moment that I waiting for is here.
