3 Fortune Storing Rock

"Master, Mr Litz wants to send something over! He wanted me to inform you to come and receive it directly!" Neid woke up Sadre and informed him anxiously.

"Oh!" Sadre nodded absentmindedly as he was still sleepy.

He got out of his bed slowly and came to the corridor before stretching his hand out.

A blue sword whish-ed through the distance and stopped before Sadre. Sadre was already accustomed to this and simply took the tightly wrapped package above the sword.

The sword flew back into the distance upon completing its delivery.

Sadre who was still drowsy from his sleep as he looked at the tightly packed package. He frowned slightly seeing the various sealing techniques used on the package, but he immediately controlled his mentality and smeared the package with his blood.

He had done the same to the three packages he received from Litz previously and it worked wonders in unsealing the sealed packages.

The complicated seals immediately unlocked upon contact with Sadre's blood. In fact, some of the blood passed through the package and dropped on the Fortune Sealing Rock inside.

Suddenly Sadre's mind felt a jolt and a new sensation appeared in his mind. It was precisely the Fortune Sealing Rock. It disappeared from the package and appeared in the space between his brows before passing through his body to enter his mind space.

But this rock seemed to have some changes from the original Fortune Sealing Rock.

A string of words consequently appeared in his mind.

[ Fortune Storing Rock ]

[ Abilty 1: Steal fortune from Heaven and Earth ]

[ Ability 2: Store fortune; Max: 1,235,954 units ]

[ Ability 3: Imbue fortune to the host ]

[ Fortune Stored: 1,235,954 units ]

"Oh!" Sadre nodded his head silently. 'As expected of a gift from uncle Litz!' He thought in his heart. Uncle Litz's three previous gifts were also as bizarre as this one. But he liked bizarre things! They kept him out of boredom.

Those three gifts were respectively.

Rough Shadow Weapon(imitation): except for its disfigured shape which was quite amusing, Sadre had no idea of how this treasure worked yet.

Rouge Coin: A coin that could influence the mood of those who touch it. Sadre quite liked this treasure that his Uncle Litz sent over.

Every time he touched it he would feel his emotions going out of control, which he felt was quite interesting. It's only drawback was that it sometimes made him attracted to the same sex.

The Yin Blade: A rare weapon of ghostly Yin attribute. Master Blacksmiths were rare in Nirvana and so were master weapons produced by them. The Yin Blade was a superior grade blade that unleashed a sealed ghost from inside it at every slash. It can hold a maximum of 127 ghosts inside it.

The drawback of the Yin Blade was that the unleashed ghost is uncontrolled and often attacked the owner of the Yin Blade. Another drawback was that it needed to seal ghosts to unleash them and could not create ghosts on its own.

'Since it is a gift from uncle Litz, it should be able to keep me entertained for the next few days!'

If Litz knew what Sadre was thinking at the moment, he would feel extremely embarrassed. After all, he had sent the rock to Sadre hoping to eliminate him naturally so that Melodin could start focusing solely on his cultivation. This was a world where cultivators were the prey, only peerless strength could protect a cultivator!

Anyway, Sadre was satisfied. Even though he wasn't able to cultivate because of his crippled veins and damaged heart, his father and uncle Litz made up for his depression by gifting him with various treasures from time to time.

Moreover, cultivation wasn't particularly a good thing. The shadows often hunted cultivators and unless your cultivation talent was sky-high, it was impossible to avoid death in the shadows' hands. Sometime even Sky-high talent was not enough!

After all, as long as the usage of Qi exceeded certain limit, the shadows were able to sense their presence! This meant that cultivators were unable to use their Qi freely without being attacked by shadows.

This was particularly the case for cultivators of higher realms. Using even 1% of their Qi was equivalent to dancing naked in front of the shadows' eyes!

People like Litz were an exception though. Litz's talent was mediocre when it came to cultivation speed and he took 10 years to break through when others took only a year, but his Martial Core which was the home to Qi inside one's body was a peerless, unbelievable variation.

Litz's Martial Core was defined as an ever-expanding Martial Core which increased in size each and every day. His Martial Core was many times better, larger, and had more capacity to hold Qi than Martial Cores of cultivators of same cultivation realm.

It was know that there are nine martial realms on the path of cultivation. If Litz ever reached the ninth level, he himself would equal 100 level nine cultivators!

....

"I can't cultivate, but I should at least provide Neid with basic cultivation resources!" Sadre thought to himself after coming out of the excitement of receiving a new toy.

Cultivators never stayed in a single place for a long time, neither did they stay in groups as shadows often sensed them. More the cultivators in one place, the more chances that the shadows are able to sense them.

So most cultivators were travelers and most travelled solely! But Sadre's family was different. Though they, like all cultivators were travelers, they travelled in a pair. For example Melodin and Litz were a pair, while Sadre and Neid were another pair.

But even two cultivators in a single place was a dangerous thing. In Litz's case, Litz was so strong that they did not need to care about shadows, and in Sadre's case, Sadre wasn't able to cultivate so there was no problem!

....

"How many bone refining pills have we got?" Sadre asked Neid who was serving him breakfast.

It had been a month since they had bought this secluded castle and Sadre thought it was time for them to move on from this place. Though both Neid and Sadre weren't cultivators yet, it would be convenient to get used to travelling before becoming cultivators.

"20 more pills!" Neid replied without changing his expression. Alchemists were scare in Nirvana but uncle Litz was a Master Alchemist so Sadre had a channel to provide him with pills. Though the amount was quite limited as most pills refined by uncle Litz were for Sadre's father.

"Mmh! Take all the pills. We are moving out today. We are moving the start of your cultivation date forward." Sadre ate as he spoke. "I am unable to cultivate, so I am going to depend on you!"

Neid cleaned the bits of bread around Sadre's mouth with a napkin as he nodded seriously. He would never oppose Sadre's decision!
