5 Dantian Creation Realm
It was second time that Neid had come to these waters to refine his bones. This time, he stored the rowing boat into his space ring before diving down into the water.
The Bone Refining Stage was the first step on the staircase of cultivation! It was very important to lay a solid foundation at this stage so as to avoid being dragged down by hidden problems at higher realms of future cultivation.
Most of the common Bone Refining cultivation manuals would only allow cultivators to completely refine their bones one single time before they reach the peak of Bone Refining Stage.
These cultivators would have to start cultivating the Soul Suppressing Stage cultivation manuals and discard their Bone Refining to advance in their cultivation.
But these cultivators have very weak foundations and their future breakthroughs become tougher and tougher as they reach higher and higher realms!
The Diamond Refining manual was one of the best widely spread Bone Refining cultivation manual because it can refine the bones in the human body 6 times before they reach the peak of Bone Refining Stage, and thus lay a solid foundation for future breakthroughs!
It a was second time that Neid had come here to refine his bones, and by the end of his second session he had consumed a total of four bone refining pills!
But, sadly, he had only refined 1% of his bones until now. And he was still at the first refining cycle and had five more refining cycles waiting for him in future.
One had to know that each subsequent refining cycle was harder than the previous cycle and the amount of resources required to refine bones increases exponentially for each next cycle.
This information was enough for most to understand how valuable alchemists were for cultivators! Neid, who had a supporting alchemist behind his back only had 20 pills in his hands and that was only enough to refine 5% of his bones in the first refining cycle!
Cultivation was a tough thing! Especially in Nirvana where shadows hunted them continuously and there was a lack of Alchemists!
But Neid wasn't scared of the huge cost! He resolutely tried harder to refine his bones while motivating himself!

Though his refining did not advance as fast as it did while using bone refining pills, it still progressed at a bearable rate!
He bore the pressure with blue veins on the side of his head for another half an hour before he felt he could no longer hold on! He immediately stopped cultivating and started swimming up to the surface!
But suddenly, as he just started to swim up to the surface of the water, a huge water wave crashed into him.
The water wave crash bewilderedly him as waves hardly formed at this depth! Waves only formed on the surface where the pressure was weakest! At this depth the pressure was too high to sustain such waves for longer distances before they dissipate, but this wave clearly came from a far-away place!
The strange phenomenon picked Neid's interest. He immediately summoned a grade 2 diving treasure and donned it on his body. The huge pressure of the surrounding water suddenly vanished away from effecting his body. Moreover the diving treasure was equipped with respiratory system and thus Neid did not need to constantly practice the underwater breathing technique!
Grade 2 treasures were treasures that were suitable for Dantian Creation Realm cultivators. Dantian Creation Realm was the second realm in the nine realms of cultivation and came just after Body Refining Realm!
Neid was like a fish in water while using the Grade 2 diving treasure. The treasure itself could move on its own and it quickly travelled in the direction of the water wave while Neid rested.
Ten minutes later, Neid felt more and more waves hitting him. This only raised his interest even more.
Ten more minutes later, the waves turned multidirectional! They came from all sides and not just the side that Neid had come from. This confused Neid a bit and made him a little cautious.
He took a telescope-like-treasure from his space ring and looked at his distant surroundings warily. The telescope was also a treasure and it was waterproof!
Suddenly, Neid who was looking around, stopped moving when his telescope pointed at a scene 40 kilometres away in a certain direction.
What he saw shocked Neid stiff!
Three completely black things were surrounding a human, most likely a cultivator! The three black things were crazily clashing blows with the cultivator with rough looking weapons in their hands! The huge underwater waves seemed to be created due to their battle!
Neid was stumped! What level were the four to cause such huge waves that did not disperse even after over forty kilometers?!
Neid suddenly squinted as he thought of something!
'Are those three black things, shadows?!'
Neid nodded to himself as they fit the description of shadows he had heard from his uncle Litz. His uncle Litz was an expert when it came to dealing with shadows so Neid did not doubt his words.
There were many types of shadows according to uncle Litz, but they all had three things in common. They were entirely black! All of them had horns! And all of them carried a rough shaped weapon in their hands!
The three battling the human cultivator fit the three characteristics of the shadows! Moreover they were attacking a cultivator, what else did Neid need to identify them?
Neid started moving away from the scene silently while his eyes still stayed glued to the telescope. Shadows hunted cultivators and did not care about mortals! Though Neid had already stepped on the path of cultivation, he was still considered under the range of mortals according to the shadows!
To the shadows only those who could store Qi inside their body were cultivators! And one could only store Qi in their bodies after they reach Dantian Creation Realm!
But though shadows showed no interest on mortals, they did not mind killing a few out of pleasure! This was one of the main reasons behind why cultivators were advised to stay away from mortals, lest they attract a bunch of shadows that massacre the mortals!
Neid moved farther and farther away while he took out a higher grade telescope out of his space ring. He only stopped when he was 100 kilometers away from the battle scene! Huge waves hit him from time to time but the diving treasure held steady and Neid was quite relaxed inside.
This was his first time meeting the archenemies of the cultivators! So he paid extra attention while observing them.
But the human cultivator was obviously very strong! He was damaging the shadows every time he swung his sword! The shadows could not do anything to him temporarily!
