I can't believe my eyes. It's really him, he's here with two of his idiots. I stood frozen on the entrance of Laskin's manor, Sin was sitting beside him while the rest was scattered in the living room.
Sin nudged Isiah in my direction, which was the only time he saw me. I ran in his open arms and buried my face in his chest. That familiar argan scent was engulfing me again.
"Did you miss me that much?" he teased.
"Hmm-hmmm" I nod, still feeling his warm safe embrace.
"Come on now" he whispered in my hair "I have a reputation to protect."
I giggled as I pulled away from him. Diez pulled me in his arms roughly, almost making him stumble over while he rained kisses on my cheeks.
"What about me?" Nueve pouted.
"Group hug!" Sin pulled him and the four of us were tackled to the floor.
"Can anyone tell me what the hell is going on?" Yuri's voice was filled with annoyance.
The four of us stood up as Isiah studied my clothing. "Why are you wearing men's clothes, Adrianna?"
Sin chortled and I nudged her waist. "Aw."
"She's wearing my clothes. Why the hell do you care?" Oh, God. Yuri didn't just say those words.
"Son" Alek Laskin spoke from the stairs of the house "Isiah, I'm sorry for my son's manners."
"Isiah?" Yuri asked in disbelief. "Fuck."
"I understand. Just be warned, I'd bury you alive if you break my daughter's heart."
"Isiah" I snarled.
The old patriarch just shrugged. "He should know who he's messing with." Sin burst out laughing. "You too, Nickolai. Better not hurt Yeona or you'll never see the sun shining again."
"Yeona?" I heard Nickolai speak from the corner of the room.
This time, it was Alek Laskin who laughed loudly taking all our attention. "Always the joker." He wrapped his arms around Isiah's shoulder "come now. Dinner's ready."
"He knows Patri?" Diez wrapped his arms around my shoulder as Nueve did the same with Sin.
"Did you know?" Nueve asked while we followed the old folks to the east wing of the estate. I nod. "How?"
"I'll tell you later" I pulled away from Diez's arms "I'll go change my clothes."
He wiggled his eyebrows "now that's what I wanna know about."
"Shut up" I elbowed him and he faked hurt.
Being around them was something I've always looked forward to. My mind swirls on many reasons why Isiah would travel to New York with two of his assassins as I change my clothes. Whatever reason he has is not good.
As I walked back into the grand staircase, someone pulled me inside one of the guest rooms. I threw my left hook but my assailant caught it. Warm lips crashed against mine and I instantly recognized who it was.
I melted under Yuri's touch as I granted him access to my mouth. He pressed his toned body against mine, his arousal was evidently straining against his pants.
"Yuri" he guided my legs around his waist. "Dinner…"
"I want my dessert first" he planted wet kisses in my neck as he pushed me harder on the wall.
"We… need… to… s-stop…" I gathered all my strength and pushed him away.
The dimmed light of the room showed Yuri roughly raking his hair. "I'm sorry for teasing you. Fuck!" he paced the darkroom.
Huffing a sigh, I crossed my arms over my chest "are you bipolar?"
"What?"
"Don't get me wrong, being bipolar is fine but if you're in denial that's worse" I scoffed.
"I'm not bipolar!" he snarled as he pinned me on the wall with both arms over my shoulder.
"See?" I motioned my hand in his face "one minute you're hot and seductive then cold and angry in seconds."
The faint light from the window was not hiding his fiery green orbs. "I'm perfectly fine. If I ever see that redhead guy kiss you again I'll put a bullet between his eyes."
I chortled "Diez is fast. I highly doubt that."
He was about to respond when we heard a knock on the door "Andi. Patri's looking for you." Sin voice was muffled by the door "stop hiding with your playmate!"
"I'm coming!" I snarled.
"Fuck. Sorry. You just continue cumming!"
"Singko!!!" I pushed Yuri off of me and pulled open the door. "I'll kill you!" She sprinted towards the stairs but I was on her heels in seconds. "I'm faster than you!" when she reached the end of the steps, I jumped from the second floor and landed above her, straddling her from behind.
"Shit! Diez!!!" she screamed in pain when I twitched her hand behind her. "I thought you're cumming!" the mischief in her voice was still evident as I felt strong hands on my waist.
"You two, stop it" Nueve spoke while helping Sin stand.
"Bitch'' I murmured under my breath while dusting off my dress.
''She said she was cumming'' Sin spoke innocently to Nueve.
''She what?'' Diez was behind me now.
''Her mind is full of cums!'' I hissed, feeling my cheeks getting hot while Sin giggled.
''I love you, Andi'' she pulled me for a hug ''is Yuri that good?'' she whispered for my ears only.
''Shut up'' I punched her stomach.
''Aw'' she playfully wrapped her arms around me while Diez and Nueve shook their heads.
''I actually missed these crazies?'' Sin and I laughed when we heard Nueve uttered in disbelief.
Dinner went well except for Yuri's eyes, boring holes on my head all through dinner. Isiah and Alek Laskin spoke as if they've been friends for a long time. I guess they are in a way somehow.
''I'm here for a reason'' Isiah spoke to no one in particular over wine after we finished eating our dinner. The four of us stiffened when his voice suddenly turned menacingly cold. ''I'll be staying here for a while if that's alright, Aleko.''
Alek Laskin was the only one over the table who seemed to have not been affected by Isiah's commanding voice. ''Of course.''
''What's wrong?'' I asked.
Isiah turned his gaze on me and his gray eyes softened a little ''Hariko found out that you're here and we need to protect the Laskins, figlia.''
Sin choked on her wine ''we should have ended Ace when we got the chance.''
''I'm sorry''
''Can someone enlighten us? Did you mean Hariko the Baba Yaga?'' Nickolai asked. I almost laughed at his childish fear expression because Hariko had always had the grudge against the Russian.
''Yes, Kolya'' Isiah addressed him. ''The ensemble will be working with you from now on.''
