20 Chapter 18

*Dimitri POV*

As I parked the car in the garage I turn the car off. "Alright you read-" I instantly stop myself from talking and look at Haze's sleeping figure. She has her legs in the seat and is leaning on the window snoring loudly. I tuck some pieces of hair that fell from her bun behind her ear and give her a soft kiss on the cheek.

Getting out of the car a walk over to the passenger side and carefully open the door to make sure I don't wake Haze. Once I open the door Haze moves her head to the back of the seat. I then unbuckled her seat belt and pick her up bridal style. She starts to move in my arms until she gets comfortable in my arms. I close the car door with my foot and walk to the door leading into the house.

Once inside I place my keys in the bowl and walk upstairs. When I made it to my bedroom door I debated how I was going to open the door without waking Haze. Slowly I turn her body around to where her legs are wrapped around my waist and her head is laying on my shoulder. With my now free hand, I open the bedroom door and turn on the lights.

I lay Haze in the bed and walk over to the closet to grab one of my t-shirts. I make my way back over to Haze and start to pull her clothes off until she is only in her bra and underwear. I place my shirt over her head then pull the covers on the bed back.

I place her under the covers and make sure that they are nice and tight around her before giving her a soft kiss on the forehead.

Sighing I walk into the bathroom and close the door. I walk over to the sink and place my hands on the sink. I look in the mirror and see my tired eyes and messy hair. Running my hand through my hair I walk over to the shower and turn it on. Needing a nice cold shower after my fiance left me and my little friend hanging.

I washed my hair with my Old Spice shampoo and conditioner, then cleaned my body with my Old Spice body wash.

Once I finished with my shower I dried my body and hair and threw on some grey sweats and a white wife-beater. I combed my hair back neatly then walked out of the bathroom.

I look over at Haze to see that she is still asleep and in the same spot that I left her in. I glance at her one more time before turning off the lights then leaving out the room. I jog down the stairs and head down to the basement. I had to figure out a few things from Haze's stepdad and from Leo.

Once in the basement I look around and see some of my men standing up against the wall they all stand up straight say 'Boss' in unison. I nod my head in acknowledgment meant the walk over to the two men tied down in metal chairs. One of my men walks over towards me with a cart that has many of my favorite weapons on it that I like to use to torture my victims.

"So are we going to do this the easy way or the hard way?" Cracking my knuckles getting ready to punch one of them if needed.

They both don't say anything they just look at me with bored expressions. Ever since Haze and I have been together everyone has said I'm weak now and they aren't intimidated by me anymore, I would show them. I have been suppressing my anger when with Haze, I didn't want her to see that side of me I'm too afraid it will scare her away. But now that she isn't here I was going to show everyone that I'm not to be messed with.

I turn towards Leo then swing a hard punch at his face. "That's for trying to kill my fiance." blood comes gushing out of his mouth as his head swings to the side. His nose begins to bleed and his eye slowly starts to turn black and blue. He lets out a grunt then spits the blood in his mouth out on the floor before looking back up at me with the same bored expression.

I nod towards one of my men and he knows exactly what to do. He unties Leo and grabs him by his arm. One of my other men then comes into the room with a metal surgery table. They tie Leo back down on the table, then go back to the spots they were standing. I grab a pair of scissors off of the cart and cut Leo's shirt. As if he knows what I am about to do his face then turns from bored to scared.

He starts to move wiggle on the table trying to get lose but nothing happens. "Dimitri look I'm sorry okay, I made a mistake," he says trying to plead with me. I smirk then slowly shake my head "shh shh, it's going to be okay" I say softly as I stroke his hair. His eyes grow wide in shock. After cutting his shirt I move on to his pants I cut them off then his boxers.

And now he is lying naked on my surgery table. I place the scissors back on the cart and grab a needle with liquid in it "Wouldn't want you to bleed out and die without getting some answers" I stick the needle in his arm and push the liquid into him. Placing the needle back on the cart I grab a pair of gloves and slip them on. I grab a white cloth then stuff it into Leo's mouth wouldn't want his screams to wake up my queen.

Leo then starts to mumble but I ignore it and continue my work. I look over at Haze's stepdad who doesn't look bothered at all. "Your next," I say pointing a finger at him. I move so that he is able to see everything that I am doing. I pick up my scalpel and wipe it on a cloth to clean it. Turning back my attention to my loud patient I look at him and he is franticly shaking his head. "Now let us begin" holding the scalpel in my left hand with my right I pick up his manhood. He then starts to squirm and try to move from out of my grasp.

As if all my men know what I am about to do they all turn their heads in the opposite direction. Some hold onto their manhood already knowing this wasn't going to be good. I take the scalpel and remove his manhood from his body. He lets out a scream but it is muffled by the cloth but it was still pretty loud. "You won't be needing this anymore" I place his penis on the cart and turn back to Leo.

"Now you're going to answer a few questions or I am going to shove your dick up your ass understand?" I turn my head to the side waiting for an answer. He closes his eyes then slowly nods his head. I take the cloth from out of his mouth and he turns his head and opens his eyes to look at me tears roll down his face in pain. I loved when they cried it made me know they felt the pain.

"Okay, now why did you say that you and Hazel are supposed to get married?" I place my hands on the side of the table and wait for a reply.

Leo clears his throat then lets out a painful sigh "Lee needed m-money so I asked if I-I paid him would he let m-me m-marry her" I nodded my head then turned to look at Haze's stepdad (Lee). His eyes were now wide and he shook his head no denying that he did any of that.

Getting tired of the two and wanting to cuddle with Haze I pull out my gun then shot Lee in the head. His body went limp in the chair I turn my attention back to Leo and look at him. He looks over at Lee's body then looks back at me. "Now since you answered my question I will let you go to hell with your ball sack, have fun!" I say as I point the gun at his head. Before he could say anything I shoot him in the head and place the gun on the cart.

"Clean this mess up," I say to my men before going into the bathroom in the basement. I take a quick shower then throw on some fresh clothes. I leave out of the bathroom and look around the room. The bodies and the blood is all cleaned up as if nothing happened.

I leave out the basement and head to my office. I decided that I was going to find out more about Haze's family history. I sit down at my desk then open my laptop. I log in then go to my website that I use to learn everything about someone. And when I say everything I mean everything I know where they are and where they have been. Who they sleep with and even their darkest secrets.

But when I search Haze nothing. All I know is stuff from her present nothing from the past. So instead of searching her name, I search up Lee's. After a while, all of his information pops up on my screen. Let's see, he has a brother and a niece and nephew. I click on the name 'James' that is beside the word brother and what pops up shocks me. Hazel's dad. So that means that Lee is actually Haze's uncle. I lean back in my chair and run a hand over my face. "Why does this family have to be so difficult" I whisper to myself.

I wonder why they hid it from her? Like what's the point? But I can't get any answers now since I killed Lee. I tap my fingers on my desk deep in thought should I tell Haze? would she be happy? sad? or angry? Finally coming to a decision I decided that I won't tell her that way she is neither happy, sad, or angry.

I yawn and get up from my desk closing my laptop I walk to my office door and turn off the lights before leaving out the room and locking the door.

I head upstairs and go into my room turning on the lights I see that Haze is still asleep but now she is laying on her side facing away from the door.

I pull the covers back and climb into bed. I pull Haze towards me and I swear I felt her body jump, she felt tense but after a while, she seemed to relax. I place my face in the crook of her neck and breath in her scent and doze off.

I wake up to the heat of the sun on my face, groaning I run my hand down my face and sit up on the bed. Looking over I see Haze still sleep. I lean over and kiss the crown of her head before getting up to go and prepare breakfast.

I walk downstairs and pass by a couple of my men who nod at me and say a low 'Good Morning Boss'. Before going to do whatever they had to do. Since my warehouse had been found and almost every gang knew where it was I move all my thing from there to here so now my men must work from my home.

I make it to the kitchen to find some of my maids already cooking breakfast. Once they finished cooking the pancakes I dismissed them and told them they could have the day off since I and Haze wouldn't be home that much today. I wash the dishes used to make the pancakes and turned when I hear Haze's soft feet walk downstairs and into the kitchen.

"Good Morning Beautiful" she gives me a small smile before walking up to me and giving me a small kiss on the lips. "Good Morning"

I turn around and place the pancakes on two plates before turning around and placing the plates on the counter. As I do that Haze hops up on the barstool then grabs her fork and knife. I come around to the other side of the bar and take a seat next to her.

"So have you thought of anything for the wedding?" I ask as I cut my pancakes then pour syrup over them. Haze doing the same.

"No not really, I mean not with everything that has happened" she takes a bit out of her pancake before looking over at me. I nod my head understanding what she meant, a lot has happened and we really haven't had time to plan the wedding.

Coming out of my thoughts I look at Haze and she looks like she's deep in thought. "What's wrong?" I put down my fork and turn my body towards her. "I-" she pauses for a second "I saw what you did" she turns and looks at me I studied her face but didn't find anything. Turning my head to the side I look at her with a confused expression.

"Leo and my stepdad" looking down at her hands. I realize what she was talking about and memories of last night come back to mind. My eyes widen with realization, thats why I felt her body jump and tense last night. She was scared.

I place my hand in my hair and tug at it gently while closing my eyes. Last night I didn't lock the basement door because I thought she wouldn't wake. Removing my hand from my hair and opening my eyes. I see that Haze is looking at me.

"How much did you see?" she looks away from me then looks back at me "I saw when you cut Leo's-" she stops herself knowing I could finish the rest. "I'm sorry" Looking down at my hands and find myself feeling guilty. I should have locked the door, I don't want her to see that side of me, the side of me that enjoys torture.

I then feel her hands on my cheek lifting my head up to look at her. When I look a her I dont see fear, anger, or sadness. I see relief and happienss. I look at her confussed as to why she isn't scared or angry at me for killing her stepdad. "Don't be sorry...it was kinda fun to watch to be honest" she mumbles the last part but I heard her. I let out a loud laugh.

"Well thats a shock, my little innoccent angel is not so innoccent" I cup her cheeks and place a kiss on her lips. I was really shocked to hear that she enjoyed me torturing Leo. Well look at that I have the perfect queen, I would have to teach her a few torture techniques to get information out of someone.

She laughed at my comment and looked at me through her thick lashes. I lean foward and pick her up from her stool. I pull her onto my lap making her straddle me. I crash my lips on hers then carried her upstairs ,not breaking the kiss, into our room.

"Wanna shower?" I ask while kissing her neck. She nods her head and moves her fingers in my hair.

I place her on the bed before going to start the shower. I make sure the water is warm and make sure that we have everything that we need for the shower.

Making my way back into the room Haze is in the same spot I left her. She turns her head to look at me and smiles. Returning the smile I walk over to her and pick her back up, her legs instantly wrap around my waist. I walk us into the bathroom and place her on the bathroom counter. Grabbing the hem of her shirt I pull it off then I pull of mine. I continue to take off our clothes until we are both naked.

I grab her and bring her over to the shower. Once we both make it in I grab her purple towel and wet it. I squirt her Bath and Body works 'Rose' scented shower gel onto the towel then washed her body. When her whole body was washed she started to rinse off the soap. I wash her hair with the shampoo and conditioner then rinse it out.

"Okay all done" I smile at her then place a kiss on her lips.

She nods her head at me then steps out of the shower wrapping a towel around her body. She then disappears into the bedroom.

I wash my body and my hair then step out of the shower. I wrap a towel around my hips and dry my hair with another. I walk out of the bathroom and see Haze just finishing getting dressed. She had on an off-shoulder short sleeve high-low cocktail dress pair with some black heels.
