Chapter 13

Dimitri's POV:

I could feel the warm blood on my face. I looked over and Haze had passed out, I looked down at Leo's motionless body. I sigh glad that I kept a gun hidden in the couch, I walked over to Haze and picked her up. I looked over at Hannah and she sat there frozen. I think back to when she begged me not to kill her and sighed, she and I talked and I learned she wasn't really a bad person. She has 1 son around the age of 2 and a baby on the way, and she had a boyfriend. She said the only reason she wanted to get together with me was so that she could support her children. I ended up giving her a great sum of money if she did this for me. I bent down with Haze in my arms and tapped on Hannah's shoulder. She looked up at me and had a few splashes of blood on her. She then steadily stood up and walked with me to the door. As we got to the car I put Haze in the front and Hannah hoped in the back. I walked around to the front of the Jeep and pulled out a cigarette. I thought about what just happened Leo was about to shoot Haze but if I hadn't have had the gun in the couch she would be dead. I looked up at the car and Haze was awake she stared at me then looked out the window. I threw the unlit cigarette on the ground and hopped in the car. "Hey, you okay?" I asked as I reached over and grabbed her thigh. She sighed and looked at me, she didn't say anything she just looked at me with tears in her eyes. I lifted my hand from her thigh and grabbed her face giving her a soft kiss on her lips. She let out a breath and gave me and smile and continued to look out the window. I reached in my pocket to grab the keys only to realize that I left them on the table in the room. I looked back at Haze then at Hannah, I reached over to the glove department and grabbed my extra gun "I have to go get the keys, use this" I said handing the gun to Hannah. I looked back at Haze and she was fast asleep, I pushed some hair out of her face and let out a sigh. I grabbed my gun and walked into the building, I went into the room but I could barely see anything because of the purple led lights. I turned on the lights and searched for my keys, that's when I realized Leo's body was gone.
