1 Prologue

"Come in Mr. & Mrs. Min." The care taker of the orphanage invited the old couple to the room where all the orphans sat and spent their time with each other.

The care taker/owner of the orphanage Mr.Ahn Minho introduced the children to the couple. The couple played with the children but a girl , probably fifteen years old caught Mrs. Min's eyes. A soft smile played on her lips as she shook her head at her companion who went on and on about something.

"What is that girls name? The one with the black hoodie."

"Raven . She is originally an India and is fifteen year old." Mr.Ahn hesitated but said it anyway. Mrs.Min looked at her husband who nodded his head as a response.

"We have decided to adopt her."

"But Ma'am don't you think she is too old to be adopted." The owner exclaimed shocked at the lady's request.

"We want to adopt a child so that he/she can have a better life as we already have two sons who are grown up and successful. And among everyone present here I think she needs help to have a stable life." Mrs.Min tried convincing Mr. Ahn.

"But----" Mr. Ahn was cut off by his wife.

"Husband, I think Mrs. Min is right. If she stays here , her emotional life will be non-existent. If she gets adopted her future  will brighten. I hope you know what I mean. "

The owner sighed and left to inform the child that she is about to be adopted. But before he left, he warned the couple:

"She might bring bad luck with her."
