29 Going For Interview

"Sir, what would you like to order for your lunch?"  Mu Yuexin asked without looking at the man and was ready to note down the order. 

"Anything that can be eaten."  A man replied with a gentlemanly smile. He stared at Mu Yuexin with judgemental eyes. Mu Yuexin accidentally wrote that down on her notepad and paused suddenly, then she turned at him. 

'From his clothes, he does not look like someone who would joke around…' Mu Yuexin thought and then guessed he must be a new customer. Thus she nodded and said.

"Okay." Mu Yuexin turned around to leave, however, the man suddenly called out her name, "Mu Yuexin." 

"Yes…" Mu Yuexin subconsciously replied and then asked hesitantly, "Sir, do I know you?"

"No, but I know you. Can we talk for some moment?" He asked but Mu Yuexin looked hesitant. There were many people waiting to be fed… cough! Waiting to give orders. How could she waste time by talking with an unknown customer?!

Not to say, he was occupying a big private dining room all by himself! No conscience at all!

Secretary Fan did not know her thoughts. He added after she showed signs of denying him, "Only one minute." 

"Fine, one minute." Mu Yuexin nodded and then waited for him to speak. 

"When in conversation, the involved party must see eye to eye." Secretary Fan said and motioned her to sit down. 

After Mu Yuexin checked that there was no one outside in the corridor, she sat down in the opposite direction but every moment she felt like she was on tenterhooks. 

"Please hurry." Mu Yuexin said. 

Secretary Fan smiled deeply as he noticed her troubled look. He took out a business card from his suit's pocket and pushed it towards Mu Yuexin. 

As she picked it up, Secretary Fan explained, "I am the chief secretary of the CEO of the Han Corporation and I have come to you with a business deal. I wish to get an affirmative answer from you, Miss Mu."

'Han Corporation?!' Mu Yuexin nearly exclaimed but she forced down the scream through her throat. She looked at Secretary Fan who was smiling and was doubtful, 'I did not apply for any job yet so why… is it Aunty… no, it doesn't look like…'

Several thoughts ran in her little head but she hid them and asked gently, "What business deal?"

Secretary Fan spoke, "It's …" 

"Yuexin, why are you slacking off here?!" The manager suddenly appeared in the doorway and interrogated her sharply. 

Upon watching her seated on a seat he murmured, "Today's wage will be deducted!" 

"Manager, it's not like that!" Mu Yuexin hurriedly stood up. Secretary Fan also stood up and stared at the manager with disapproval. 

"Does this restaurant always treat their employees so harshly?" He asked suddenly. The behavior that Manager Hu just showed was immoral and he could be sued for deducting worker's pay without a valid reason.

Manager Hu frowned and asked, "Are you her friend?! Why would she slack off her working time here talking with you?!" 

"I am not her friend. I was just asking her which dishes were good, it's my first time here." Secretary Fan replied tactically. But in his mind, he noted down this Manager's face clearly.

Mu Yuexin also bobbed her head nonstop in the fear that the manager still would not believe her and showed him the paper, "Manager, what he is saying is true!'

Manager Hu glanced at them and then spoke respectfully while gazing at Secretary Fan, "Sorry for the inconvenience. But if you are new here, you can try the top reviewed one and the highlighted dishes on the menu."

"Okay, I get it." Secretary Fan nodded. At the same time, he gave Mu Yuexin a thoughtful look. The thing he just witnessed was clear that this restaurant didn't treat their workers well. 'If she has a brain, she should know what is good for her.'

The corner of his lips went up as he sat down on his seat. Mu Yuexin hurriedly left the private dining room. 

"If I catch you again in such situations, remember, your pay will be deducted." After saying that, Manager Hu snorted as he went past her. 

Mu Yuexin paused in her steps for a moment. The fact that he was abusing his power was clear as day to her. 'Humph!'

"You all, don't come near me! Don't!" A man who had cat-like eyes and an androgynous face, shouted at a group of dangerous looking men.

"Oy manchild, pay up the money or come with us!" Another man who had tattoos all over his body spoke dangerously. He eyed Han Yijun with erotic eyes and licked his lips provocatively.

'Ah, momma help!' Han Yijun shouted in his mind as he tried to run away from this group of people. 

"Catch him dead or alive!' The tattooed man shouted. In the sea beach of Hawaii, amid many people, he was being chased by a group of people. 

Han Yijun glanced aside and saw those people had sarcastic smiles as they chased after him, without much effort. 

In no time Han Yijun was caught in Hawaii by those people. All kinds of struggles were futile as he was being dragged by his collar.

"Let me talk with my mom! She will definitely send the money!" Han Yijun shouted, however the men did not want to listen to him. He was brought to a remote place. They took him to an abandoned villa and locked him inside. 

"No! I said I will pay! Let me talk with my parents! Open the door!" However, after leaving him there, the men left. Han Yijun shouted and banged on the door for a long time but in the end, he had to stop.

He slumped on the floor and hugged himself tightly. Even now he couldn't believe that he just occurred 5 million dollars of debt on his head!

The tattooed man called someone and whispered, "Boss, it's done!" 

"Oh, how was his reaction?" Van Alroy raised his eyes and asked with interest. 

"He was scared enough to call out his Mama!" The man replied sarcastically. 

"Good. Give him ghost doses from time to time. If he dies, then just bury him!" Van Alroy said with a smirk. Ethan Han turned to him when he heard him and probed with his blue eyes. 

Ethan Han put down his phone and said indifferently, "A fool who gambled away all his money. Now he owes us 5 million dollars! Heh!" 

Ethan Han indifferently moved his eyes back to his laptop. He knew that Van was hiding something from him but he was not interested in his personal life. Van Alroy smiled when Ethan moved his attention away. 

Han Yijun was in bad luck for messing up with his boss and he would live to do a very tiny favour to his boss, heh~

…

The next day, Mu Yuexin took a leave from her work. It did not matter if another day's pay was deducted or not at that time.

She took a taxi and stopped before the magnificent villa in front of her and was confused. She checked the address on her phone and murmured, "It's the same address though. Am I supposed to give an interview here?" 

She was baffled by the thought that someone from there wanted her to become their assistant. 

'Before I thought that I was supposed to work in the Han Corporation… Anyway, as long as I get a good salary, sigh!' Mu Yuexin thought. Working in a company was much better than working in homes except if the pay was generous!

Nonetheless she went ahead and walked towards the door guard. 

"Hello, I am Yuexin. I came here for an interview." She said to the guard. 

The guard glanced at her and upon watching her dress his attitude became indifferent. He asked with obvious doubt, "Who told you to come for the interview?"

"Someone with the name, Han Fan. Secretary Fan of Han Corporation." Mu Yuexin said confidently but the guards seemed not to be convinced by her. 

"What's your name?"  He inquired. 

"Mu Yuexin." She said with a smile. The guard saw her face which looked very innocent and felt she might not be the kind of woman who would lie. 

He looked convinced as he clicked on his Bluetooth earpiece and spoke with someone. At that moment Mu Yuexin glanced around the place while waiting to get entry. 

The man finished his talk and then hurriedly opened the entrance for Yuexin. She walked inside and heard the guard speaking behind her. 

"Go straight from here." 

"Thanks, I will." Mu Yuexin responded. She checked the time and it was 5 minutes away from the appointment time
