12 Girls Day Out

"Anna! Try this! This would look beautiful on you!" Brinley exclaimed in excitement like a small girl who found a new shining toy, making Gianna giggle at her childish behavior.

"Brinley, we've already bought so much, let's not waste time here and leave from here, we have been shopping since three hours, I'm hungry anyway, let's go, Brinley," Amelia said and sighed, Gianna also requested Brinley to stop shopping.

Brinley sighed in defeat and gave the dress back to the receptionist.

"But...but you will look amazing in other dresses too! Hey! I have an idea, I'll tell my brother to buy this store, then we can take as much as we want." Brinley said with a confident smile. Amelia and Gianna gasped in shock and dragged Brinley out of the store. Brinley puffed her cheeks in disappointment and followed Amelia and Gianna.

"You're so spoiled Brinley! Come live with us for a few days, I'll personally look over you and teach you the value of saving things around us and caring about them." Gianna said but Brinley just pouted.

"Well… coming and living with you must feel like living in heaven but teaching me... Nah, it's alright." Brinley said in a grumpy tone to which Gianna chuckled.

"Let's go, we can have lunch over there," Amelia said tugging at Gianna's and Brinley's hand and dragging them. Gianna stopped for a second making both of them stop in their steps. Gianna sensed someone following them by the sound of footsteps, she looked here and there but as she can't see anything, she felt helpless.

"Was someone following us now?" Gianna asked making Brinley and Amelia confused.

"No... I don't think so." Brinley said and Amelia nodded in approval.

"It might be misunderstanding Anna, there are so many people walking by around us," Amelia said making Gianna nod in hesitation.

~Xavier's office~

Xavier's phone rang, and he picked up the call, it was from Brinley's bodyguard.

"Ciao capo." [Hello boss.]

"Sì? Quello che è successo?" [Yes? What happened?]

"Capo, abbiamo beccato un uomo che seguiva la signora Brinley e i suoi nuovi amici. Si è avvelenato non appena lo abbiamo afferrato." [Boss, we caught a man following Ms. Brinley and her new friends. He poisoned himself as soon as we grabbed him.]

Xavier sighed and paused for a moment. He just came back from Italy after solving problems over there and as soon as he comes here, he is informed about new problems. Sometimes he feels worn out doing this business along with managing a multi-billionaire company with so many branches.

"Proteggere lei e i suoi amici a tutti i costi. Manderò uomini a indagare su questa questione." Xavier said and canceled the call. [Protect her and her friends at all cost. I'll send men to investigate this matter.]

Xavier called Adam through his mobile. "Hello?" Adam answered, his voice seemed like shivering.

"What happened to your voice? Are you in some kind of trouble?" Xavier asked him. Adam chuckled for a second and sighed.

"I am visiting my parents," Adam said in a dejected tone.

Xavier was slightly surprised as he forgot which date today was, as soon as he came from Italy, he got himself busy with investors and new business deals.

"Do you want me to come there?" Xavier asked in a low voice.

"No, it's fine, I know you're busy. Just...let me take a day off today." Adam sighed, Xavier responded with "Of course."

It seemed like Adam was feeling exhausted or stressed. Who wouldn't feel like this? It's hard to visit deceased parents. Today was the death anniversary of Adam's parents, and he was visiting their gravestone. His father had heart cancer, they didn't own enough resources or income to treat his cancer, his mother was exhausted too, mentally, and physically. Working all day to collect money and coming back home and taking care of his father, it was very hard for her. Adam was still young at that time when his father passed away and his mother was very depressed, and she got a heart attack. Adam was kicked out of his house by his house owner, and he became homeless, he just used to walk lifelessly on the streets, sometimes finding something to eat and drink, but a few days later, it was Mr. Moretti, Xavier's dad who picked him up and took care of him as his own child. Even Xavier's mother was like a second mother for him.

Soon Xavier and Adam became best friends, Adam was not that close with Derek, but they still consider each other as brothers. When Adam came to Moretti's mansion, he felt strange feelings towards Brinley, she was a jolly nature girl, she was kind and caring which he found cute and slightly mischievous. She always dreamed of becoming a fashion designer, and now she's running towards her dreams, studying hard to become a good designer and make a brand for herself. Derek, Xavier, and Adam always supported her and spoiled her a lot. They couldn't bear when Brinley shed even a single tear. Brinley always used her fake tears to trick these guys to go with her ways XD.

Xavier was in a deep thinking process when his phone rang again.

"Fratello! I'm sleeping over at Gianna and Amelia's place! Bye!" Brinley said and canceled the call not even allowing him to utter even a word.

Xavier chuckled and said, "Ragazza stupida." [Stupid girl (Actually I typed Silly girl, but it translated into stupid girl XD)].
