13 My Maid Is Back

My Maid Is Back

I woke in my bed feeling this refreshing sensation and I felt like I'm having this nice day ahead of me. When I opened my eyes I can see that my room was clean and organize. And it got me to an idea that my annoying maid was back.

After I took a bath and finished preparing myself for school. I went down to the dining area to have my breakfast. And there she was, our eyes directly met and she was smiling to me.

Her face really annoyed me everytime she will do that but I didn't want to destroy my mood today so I just ignored her. She served my breakfast and it was not my normal breakfast having my favorite chess. She served these buttered chicken with a soup. She explained her reasons why she chose to serve those food and it rang my ears how talkative she was.

I really didn't want to go to school with an empty stomach just like before so to fill my hunger. I didn't have the choice but to eat what she had prepared.

As I tasted it, the chicken was very comfy and it was so tasteful. The butter seeped in my tastebuds and it was undeniably delicious. The soup's taste was so savory and I can't deny it she was good in preparing my meals. Deep within me I wanted to eat this meal course again.

"Would you mind me to ask Sir Hans. How's the taste?" She spoke about the breakfast I ate.

I cleared my throat before answering her question.

"It's fine". I shortly said. Her head came closer to my face and asked me for another question.

"What's your definition of fine Sir? I didn't get it". And her eagerness was spilling over her body.

"U-uhmm". I cleared out again my throat because she was this close to me, her face to my face. "Can you move farther? You're so ugly". I added.

"My bad Sir Hans". She bowed down her head for me not to see her face.

"What I mean by saying fine was, it is something good and all right I can say that it was very tasteful". I honestly replied to her questions so that she won't ask me again.

I didn't want to lie because that was very tasteful. Really!

"I'm so so HAPPY to hear that coming from you Sir Hans. Thank you for eating it". Her face transformed brightly and her smile got bigger as she was looking at me.

She made that face again but why was it my heart fluttered a bit seeing her smile to me like that.

"Annoying". I just said it but it was like I'm covering my real feelings seeing her like that.

I left the mansion having these unusual feelings, these feelings that I didn't know and I didn't know to describe.

Is this happiness?

The corridors were having these loud noises and talks because they were watching for this first year batch representative, Maddison Jordan entering the same class as we were. She was the center of attraction to girls and especially to some boys here in our course. She seated in front of us and she glanced in her back. She was smiling towards us.

"Oh hi! Maddi remember?" She greeted us with her beaming smile.

Of course, I didn't pay attention to her at all and I'm not interested with someone like her.

"Y-yes, how can we forget about you". And here's Thomas again and he was like in the state of amazement.

"So we're in the same class in Finance with Mrs. McGregor. Glad to see ya".

"No! We are glad to see you here Ms. Jordan".

So Thomas was all replying and entertaining her. And here I am beside him doing this book flipping.

"You're so proper. Call me Maddie and that's enough".

"Definitely, I should call you that from now on. Maddi".

And they were still exchanging conversations up until Mrs. McGregor entered the house.

Every one settled their things and paid attention to her.

"It's another meeting Assholes and Bitches. Today, I will be reviewing about your course requirements in my subject. And well! I know you're starting to look for some topics to be used but it's an easy task because with this matrix you will be identifying finance here and you will be graded using scaling schemes. One will be the highest possible score up to a five". And that made her presence respectable because of her teaching techniques and methods.

Beside me, Thomas was glancing in Maddison's back and he didn't pay attention to Mrs. McGregor's class. He was still in the state of amazement after all. Because the girl in front of us was the school beauty out of all first year students here in New Heights.

"Your term paper will be submitted by the end of semester and it should be in IMRAD format. Introduction. Methods. Results. And. Discussion". And Mrs. McGregor was still continuing her class.

Then again, Maddison made few glances at me but I tried to focus on the class. I didn't know why she's doing that but that was irritating.

"Do you want to exchange seats?" I silently asked Thomas so that she will be at the back of Maddison Jordan.

"Should we?" He then replied.

We exchanged seats and all right Maddison will not taking glances at me again. She was showing some motives and I can sense it.

Maddison took glances again and she was shock when Thomas was smiling back at her. She didn't anticipate that thing coming. And that was the right decision.

After a while, it was our dismissal in our Finance class. We headed to the university's cafeteria to have some snacks and Maddison Jordan offered us to join her with her friends.

"Of course that would be great!" Said Thomas in a lively manner and he was excited.

We ordered our food and seated at the center of the cafeteria. I was seating beside Thomas and our opposite seaters were Maddison and her two friends.

"Oh hi Hans! It's my first time to see you closer. You are more handsome closely". And this girl in front of me was something. Something annoying.

I didn't reply to her and I didn't want to talk to her. I was only focusing on my food in front of me.

"Do you like lasagna? I liked it too and my Mom is the best in making it". She was so talkative, much more with my annoying maid.

I just took a glance in her and not even paying her any single attention.

"Is your Mom didn't make that for you?" One question that made my blood boiled in my head and I didn't expect that coming from her chatty mouth.

I seriously stared at her, a stare that wil make you scared and didn't mind who were surrounding us. She really pissed me off.

She was quievering and she can't hold her fork properly.

"Are you that proud that you have a Mom and I don't have one? Then, can you lost at my sight? You irritate me!" I strongly said with grudges in my voice and threw my tantrums.

Everyone in our table was shocked when they hear how I bursted out.

"I-It's n-not like that Hans. I didn't mean that way". She was tense and drooled out.

I didn't say a word to her and made my exit. I left my food without finishing it because like her was more annoying.

"Wait Hans". Said Thomas but didn't mind him.

I didn't have a Mom and that's the fact.

"What did you do Georgia?" Maddison asked her friend what had happened.

"I-I was just talking about how my Mom was good in making lasagna and after that he was angry and gazing me seriously". She explained.

"Oh come on. You shouldn't have do that. Hans didn't have a Mom. Only his grandfather was raising him and you know that already".

"I'm sorry Maddi I couldn't stop my mouth in talking to him".

"You should apologize to him tomorrow. Okay?" Maddi comforted her.

"Yah, I need to". She softly replied.

She was pitiful and she regretted what she did but will her apology be accepted?

~

I was very happy when Sir Hans appreciated the breakfast I served him. I couldn't deny it but I am sure that slowly we were getting comfortable with each other. I just needed to understand him better and I will do my very best to serve him all that I can.

My Mom was the best in cooking and that was favorite. It's just flattering that my boss liked it. After doing my chores, I helped Tina and Beth in the cleaning the kitchen of the mansion.

I was wiping the furnitures in the cabinet when the two of them started to talk about Sir Han's parents. His father died when he was eight because of cancer and after that her mother left him in Mr. Robinson's care. Up until now, her mother didn't come back and that was why Sir Hans really hated her.

And that's when I reflected myself that he insulted my parents because he was longing for parents' love and comfort. Now, I understood that he was a lonely person. He was grumpy and heartless but he was lonely after all.

That was when my heart skipped a bit. When every thing around me turned clearer.
