1 Chapter 1

Tech fest in X city, conducted by Tech-Hi group owned by Mr. Rakesh Arora. As his company's 25th anniversary, Mr. Arora decided to organise to thank everyone who supported him and his company for so long. Mr. Arora invited all his business partners in this fest. He also invited the freshmen of XIT university which belongs to his company. The fest was to be held after the new year so to start this great event Mr. Arora asked his sons - Siddharth and Sameer, to organise a new year party for the freshmen and company partners.

Siddharth Arora, Mr. Arora's elder son didn't liked parties or crowded places. As soon as he completed his high school, he entered in the business world and helped his father. Siddharth never showed himself publicly as he didn't want to get involved with news and media. Other than his family and trusted employees no one knows his identity. Siddharth was born with a great talent in business world. From his teenage he helped his father and yet got good grades in his academics. He was already famous among girls of his school because of his good looks and talent. Siddharth was also once his school's basketball team's captain but soon he quit that because of his father's illness. Whereas Sameer Arora, Mr. Arora's younger son was just Siddharth's opposite. Unlike Siddharth, Sameer always hangout with his friends, use his father's fame, not interested in business etc.

Siddharth organized everything for the new years party while Sameer helped him with handling the decorations. Siddharth was leaving just after completing his work but Sameer convinced him to at least stay till midnight. Siddharth agreed but as he didn't had any company and was getting bored in the party due to loneliness. For him being alone was better but what irritated him was the university girls trying to approach him because of his looks yet none of them knew his real identity. To avoid those girls whom he found really irritating, Siddharth went to the garden. Away from the noise of the party hall, Siddharth felt calm and relaxing in the garden. While walking in the garden, he heard water splash. He went towards the sound and found a girl sitting at the edge of swimming pool with her legs dipped in the water. Siddharth went near her and asked from behind -"what are you doing here ?"

The girl ignored him and continued playing in the water. Siddharth turned around was about to leave when he heard her saying -"can't you see ? I'm relaxing away from the party's noise."

Siddharth stopped, turned towards her and stared her for a moment when the girl spoke again -"you're here for that too, aren't you?"

Siddharth dazed out for a moment and said looking in another direction -"ah..yeah."

"then why don't you join me too ?" said the girl quickly without even looking at him. Siddharth looked at her for a moment and then smiled. He took off his shoes and socks, sat beside her and dipped his legs in the pool too. " you came here alone ?" asked Siddharth.

"Nope, I came here with my friends." the girl replied. Siddharth could sense the smell of alcohol and realized that she was drunk. "then why are you sitting here alone ? and not enjoying with your friends ?" said Siddharth staring at her. The girl turned her glance at him, it was the first time she looked at him. Both of them exchanged their glances and stared in each other's eyes for a couple of minutes, and then the girl looked away and broked the silence in between them -"my name's Meera, what about you ?" she said and looked at him again, smiling. Siddharth smiled too, looking straight he replied -"Siddharth."
