13 Chapter Thirteen

Carson's Pov:

After taking a shower, I blow dried my hair letting it fall naturally. I put makeup on, making it a natural look. I slipped my white dress on for the Luna ceremony today. Kendra was overly excited and I was completely nervous. Maddox came into the bathroom holding black high heels to go with the dress. I smiled at him and grabbed the heels.

"I have something to give you." His voice was low, sending shivers down my spine. He reached into his formal pants, grabbing a small blue velvet long box. He opened it showing me the content of what's inside. A small three diamond pendant rested inside the box with a silver chain attached. I gasped at the beautifulness of the necklace.

"Each generation of this pack, the Luna will get this necklace. My mother was supposed to hand this to you today but she is no longer here." A tear ran down my cheek, he was so romantic at times, but this gesture meant the world to me. I was now holding onto his mothers necklace. A small smile spread my lips as I took the necklace out of the box. Maddox set the box down, now holding onto the necklace ready to put it around my neck. I moved my hair to the side letting him clamp on the necklace around my neck. After he was done his lips brushed against my forehead. I wanted his lips on mine but a simple gesture like that had my knees wobbling. He left the bathroom before I could say thank you. I followed him down the stairs and into the back yard where all of the pack members stood side by side. We stood in front of them as Maddox began the ritual. He slit my palm open for the blood to spill into the container with the rest of his and the Luna and alpha before. After that he announced I was Luna and everyone cheered except one, Victoria who stood in the back row with red puffy eyes. She looked liked she hasn't slept in days.

Now we would start the whole ritual dinner and dance, basically everyone would celebrate.
