19 Chapter Nineteen

Its been a few days since I've seen Maddox or any pack member. I regained weight and my skin has gained color as well. Since the incident with Vincent, I ha e closed myself off to the world, fearing every sound that echoed through the hallway or even in the room. Maddox's maids haven't even said a word fearing I would have a panic attack or freak out. The pack doctor says the only injuries I have are mental ones and where the silver chains held me.

I sat on the edge of Maddox's bed savoring the smell of him as much as I could. I missed him dearly, my body craving him, every inch of me. Kendra hasn't surfaced yet nor spoke to me, maybe waiting for Maddox and his wolf to show. I couldn't wait any longer. I stood from the bed slowly walking to the door as second thoughts crossed my mind. Its now or never. I opened the door, seeing Maddox sitting to the side against the wall. He face was in his hands on his knees, as he snored silently mumbling my name. I walked over toward him, as if recognizing my smell, he woke up. I quickly wrapped my arms around him smashing my lips to his. His body stood shocked but quickly his lips moved with mine. Ignoring the guards he lifted me up, walking us into the room closing the door behind us. He put us on the bed, wrapping his arms around me, pulling me toward him. He hummed happily as he fell back to sleep. A few seconds later, sleep took over me.
