4 Chapter Four

His blue icy eyes stared back with lust, looking all over my body. His raven black hair was messy but in a sexy way. He wore black denim jeans with black boots, and a gray shirt with his black leather jacket.

My heartbeat pounded like a humming bird, nonstop. My gaze didn't move from him ad he slowly walked toward me. His hand grazed against my jawline sending tingles down my neck, giving me goose bumps. His hands were rough but my eyes were on his lips, Kendra purred just looking at him.

This man was my boyfriend, the man I trust and loved. My lips parted as he lend down grazing his soft lips too mine. My fingers found their way through his soft hair, as his hands wrapped around my waist pulling me toward him.

Everything in that moment stopped. All the passion and love went into the kiss, then I pulled away abruptly remembering I found my mate.

Demitri's eyes filled with confusion and pain. Last I remembering seeing him, was the day before the rouge attack. We were planning to marry each other and let the Alpha know but we decided we shouldn't just yet and now, I found my mate. Wait, he has someone. I'll reject him and be with Demitri while Maddox is with Victoria.

"What's wrong, Car?" His voice was so musical, it rang in my ears like a harp. I never wanted it to go away. I took a step back from him and looked up with him with a sad face.

"Alpha Maddox is my mate. He has a fiancé and won't even reject me." I huffed out. Demitri looked pissed, more than that he looked like was ready to kill.

I was eight when I met Demitri, he was ten. Since we grew up, we were always best friends and found out we both were having feelings for each other. I'm now eighteen and I don't want to lose someone like a mate I barely know over him.

"Where is he? I want to kill him." His voice got deeper as his anger got worse.

"You kill me, you kill her." Demitri and I's head snapped toward the voice. Maddox stood a few inches away from me, making me uncomfortable. I turned around and back up into Demitri's chest. Maddox growled. Kendra was getting tired of being hurt by him, not only hurt but she was annoyed.

"I, Carson Winters, reject Alpha Maddox Williams." I blurted it out surprising Demitri, but Maddox stood there with pained filled eyes. Everyone became silent, watching everyone's actions.
