Chapter 08: Seafood

Clap..Clap..Clap..Clap

" Good, Captain Kuro you are definitely the best examples of a typical scum. I knew beforehand that you are upto no good. " Luffy revealed himself while clapping.

Kuro was enraged, " You little piece of trash, because of you i have to change my plans. You will die a horrible death tomorrow. Just you wait. " he tried to escape from the mansion but Luffy didn't let him.

" Hmm, why should we wait until tomorrow. Let's fight and decide the outcome. " Luffy said and attacked him immediately with his dragon claw.

According to Luffy, this trash had a good footwork technique that made him a fast bastard. So Luffy decided to gain some battle experience.

Although Luffy was very powerful, he lacked real life battle experience. So he wanted to use Kuro as a temporary training dummy.

Kuro narrowly dodged the attack. He wore his claw gloves and loosened his tie to start a serious fight. Kuro first disappeared from his spot, then closed in and slashed towards Luffy's chest.

Luffy spun around and dodged the slash. He brought out his sword to intercept Kuro.

Kuro disappeared again and attacked Luffy form his behind. But this time Luffy didn't dodge but met his attack with his own.

** Clang **

Kuro was forced ten steps due to the intensity of the clash, where as Luffy was unmoved because of his monster physique.

Kuro stopped playing and became serious. Then a serious battle began between them. As time passed Luffy started reading his movements.

Because of his Kenbunshoku haki, Kuro couldn't land a single strike on Luffy.

Kuro stepped back and adjusted his glasses, " Why are you interfering in my plans! We don't have any prior grudges, so why. " Kuro was really frustrated.

Luffy grinned a little, " Because Kaya is my friend and her problems are also my problems. "

" Hahaha, are you betting on your life because of such a idiotic reason! " Kuro laughed out loud hearing Luffy's statement.

Suddenly Kuro stopped laughing and hunched his back. His legs started swaying back and forth like ' Sonic '. His speed almost doubled and he started slashing viciously.

Luffy had no problem in dodging his attacks, but this time some of the slashes connected.

But due to Luffy's ridiculous Dragon physique Kuro's claws couldn't even scratch him. The only downside was Luffy's clothes were ripped apart.

Soon Luffy became bored and decided to end this fight. Frankly he was disappoint in Kuro.

So Luffy stopped using 'Ea' and stored it back. But when he was about to end the fight, Kuro suddenly vanished from his sight.

When Luffy looked back he found out that Kuro was holding Merry hostage.

But before Luffy could do anything, a sudden shout interrupted him.

" Stop. " Kaya shouted from the her hiding spot and came downstairs while holding a gun.

" Drop the gun and let me go or i will kill him. " Threatened Kuro when he saw the gun.

" I know you are lying, even if we let you go yoh will still kill him. " Then Kaya pressed the trigger and Kuro was shot on his forehead. Kuro collapsed on the floor while Merry sat on his back with thud.

' Looks like Usopp's death had changed her a lot. ' Thought Luffy.

Kaya couldn't control herself and started vomiting. Luffy helped her calm down. But after after vomiting for a while, Kaya lost her consciousness.

Luffy washed her clean and carried her back to hr room. He placed her on the bed and then started injected his ' Dragon Force ' into her body.

When the qi entered inside her body, Luffy could feel her body started healing at a frightening rate. After a while her pale white skin started turning rosy, so Luffy stopped the process.

He left her living room and went to check the old man. After sorting out all things, he went to sleep.

The next morning when Kaya opened her eyes, she saw Luffy was already waiting in her room.

" So how is the condition of your body? I have already cured your illness yesterday. Now tell me how do you feel? " Asked Luffy when he noticed her waking up.

" Ah..my body feels like i can do anything. The morning pain was also gone. " Kaya said with a surprised voice. Then she rushed at him and hugged him tightly.

Kaya was very happy, " Thank you.. Thank you, for curing my illness. I can't express how happy i am. " She started sobbing while Luffy just consoled her while enjoying her divine melons.

After she calmed down Luffy coughed," Ahem, Kaya you should release me now. " Kaya hurriedly distanced herself. She felt very embarassed for her impulsive behaviour.

" Okay, don't eat breakfast and wait for me. " Luffy said and flew outside through the window. Kaya just watched his retreating back with a daze. It was her first time seeing someone flying.

Luffy returned with some lobsters and crabs.

He prepared a pot filled with water and lit up fire. Then he added the crabs and lobsters inside it and covered its lid.

He went inside the mansion and returned with Kaya. Kaya was surprised when she saw the outdoor cooking. She felt very excited as she had no experience in outdoor cooking.

" Wow seafood, looks like i will enjoy today's breakfast. " Kaya squatted down. She looked at the pot first then turned her attention towards Luffy.

Luffy had a serious face while cooking. Under the illumination of sunlight he had a very unique aura. She felt appearance wise Luffy was definitely very handsome.

Then she found a rock and sat down on it.

" Alright the food is ready. We should begin and use this sauce. " He opened the pot and passed over a bowl of sauce.

" Wow lobsters and crabs!! " Kaya's excitement reached its peak. Luffy swooped out a lobster, disheveled it's head and passed it to her.

" Thank you. "

" Careful, it's hot. " But suddenly Luffy remembered something. Then he used the Arc of Embodiment and thought of a phone. He made a iPhone Max Pro magic version.

" Kaya look here. " Luffy took a cute selfie with Her to preserve this moment. Kaya was surprised by the phone so Luffy told her some of the uses.

They finished the whole pot quickly. Both of them were very satisfied.

After finishing the meal, Luffy left the pot there for Merry and escorted her back to the mansion.
