Ambitions

(AN: I was going to take a one week break but my fckng head said no. So here we are again with a new chapter)

All you want is to take over Dicathen, so you can continue your experiments to create more half Asuran, so you can get your revenge on the great Eight…But I've already seen through your plans and that's why I will stop you from conquering Dicathen' Thought Indrath whose eyes were visibly growing with purple light.

Inside the training chamber that was deep inside the library. A boy could be seen standing in the center of a small crater.

He had long white hair and lavender eyes that were beaming with power.

"I can't use it for long. I'll have to train myself more," Said the boy as his body started changing. The long white hair turned into short Auburn color and his eyes turned into a blue color.

The new appearance was a familiar one. It was Arthur Leywin.

"I hope Gideon have something new for me" Said Arthur while looking around at the damage he caused due to his intense training.

"What do you think Sylvie? Did I improve or not?" Asked Arthur while wiping his sweat with a towel.

"You're improving every day papa" Answered Sylvie as she walked towards Arthur and jumped up causing Arthur to catch her.

"Thanks"

Arthur stood there for almost two minutes, patting Sylvie. He was patting his bond but his mind was somewhere else.

His thoughts were cut short by the sudden change of atmosphere inside the training room.

Right in front of Arthur. A purple portal opened up and a figure walked out of it.

Arthur's fighting instincts kicked in. He pulled out his sword and augment his body,, but his fighting spirit shattered the moment he looked at his bond.

Like a dog who was an anaconda. This is what Sylvie looked like, she was hiding behind Arthur while shaking in fear.

'Who is this person, ' Thought Arthur while looking at the man with platinum hair. But what caught his attention was the military uniform he was wearing. The man looked at Arthur right in the eyes.

It was at that moment, Arthur felt helpless and weak against the person who was standing in front of him.

'I can't even move my body…what a monster'

"Finally, I've found you Lady Sylvia's child" Said the man in uniform as he kneeled down and bow his head.

Hearing the word Sylvia was like a nail inside Arthur's heart that cause him pain .

"Who are you? And how do you know about Sylvia" Said Arthur who gained a little courage of asking the man in uniform.

"My name is Windson. A servant of the Indrath clan from Epheotus" Said Windson as he stood up and looked at Arthur.

"Epheotus??"

"It's where we Asuras lives."

"Asura? Who are they?"

Instead of answering Arthur's question. Windson looked at Sylvie and spoke,

"I see, So you bond with her and not only that but you also have Lady Sylvia's will inside of you…what happened to her?"

Arthur forgot the question he just asked for a minute and answered Windson's question with a sad tone.

"She..she died protecting me"

"I see. It's a good thing I found you. I must return and report this to Lord Indrath. He will decide what to do next"

"Wait! You haven't answered my questions. How did you know about Sylvia?"

"Because she was the Princess of the Indrath clan" Answered Windson.

"A Princess?"

Inside another training room that appeared to be twice the size of Arthur's room. Two figures could be seen sitting on what appeared to be a bench made out of vines.

"You're getting better day by day. You can now use your vines to form different things. Congrats" Said Madara

"It's all thanks to you. I'm feeling like if I keep going like this then I'll be strong like you and even surpass you"

'Sorry but that ain't gonna happen '

"Mm, I'm looking forward to that day"

Hearing Madara's answer. Tess chuckled. But her chuckle stopped the moment he saw the serious expression on Madara's face.

"What's wrong?" Asked Tess.

"Tess, can I ask you a question?" Said Madara

A worrying feeling filled Tess's head as she nodded.

"Do you really love me?"

"Wha…what are you talking about. Of course, I love you, why are you even asking me that?"

"Does it mean you always be with me? Even outside Dicathen?"

This question made Tess to stay quiet for a few seconds.

What was Madara saying? And what does he mean by that?. These were the things that filled Tess's head.

"Madara I…." Before she could say what she wanted to say. The training room's door opened up and revealed Virion.

"Grandpa???"

"How are you doing Tess…Madara" Said Virion as he walked towards them with a big smile on his face.

"Sorry to come unnoticed and ruined your little talk"

"No it's fine Grandpa. But why did you come?" Said Tess.

"For two things"

"Two things" Asked Madara while looking at Virion who was showing them his two fingers.

"Yes. The first thing is to see how is your assimilation going and the last thing is…I will tell you after checking your Assimilation" Jokily said Virion.

"Well, Master Goodsky has been very busy lately so there was no one to help me. But everything is going well" Said Tess.

Virion looked at Madara in a questioning manner.

"huh?"

"Why didn't you helped her?"

"I got zero experience on this whole beast assimilation will thing" Said Madara while looking at Virion who seem to be defeated by his answer.

Walking towards Tess. Virion went behind her and asked her to stay still.

"It simple. All you have to do is just channeled your mana into her…" Virion stopped mid way . His eyes widen in shock.

"What's wrong??"

"Thi..this. The assimilation is almost complete, It only needs a small push" Said Virion who seem excited about the discovery.

"Hold on a little Tess. I'm sending my mana inside your core"

Without wasting time. Virion placed both of his hands on Tess's back and allowed his mana to flow towards Tess's mana core.

A small groan left Tess's mouth and the next second, the whole training room was covered by a blight emerald light and the source of that light was Tess.

Her body was emitting the emerald light. The light only lasted for a few seconds before sunk back inside Tess.

"Wh.."

*whoosh*

Virion and Madara were pushed back by the exploding shockwave that was generated by Tess.

They were swiped a few meters away by the shockwave, but they managed to stand on their ground.

*Thud*

Tess's body hit the ground. Virion was the first one to rushed towards her and checked her condition.

"She's perfect fine. All she need is to rest…but that's not the good news…She's now a Silver core mage"

Virion placed Tess's body on ground and walked towards Madara.

"Shouldn't we send her to the infirmary?"

"We will but I got something that I want to ask you"

"Hmm?"

"The last thing that made me come here is to get you to Rinia"

"Who's Rinia?" Asked Madara

"She's an elf and good friend of mine".

"Why would this Rinia want to see me?"

"I'm not sure myself but I think it's about her deviant magic. So before I take you there, I want to ask you something…Do you have dreams that you wish to fulfill?

"…No, I don't have dreams"

"You don't? Then what do you have?"

"Ambitions"
