22 Young Madam Jiang is giving someone her card

"Don't you think I at least deserve to be treated with a few hundred yuan?"

"Are you sure it's just a few hundred yuan?" Jiang Yue asked back, her eyes roaming the table where they just emptied a few plates of food that costs around a few hundred yuan per plate.

"A few thousands maybe. I had to clean up after your mess after all."

Jiang Yue grabbed a card from her black wallet and gave it to the man.

Luo Zhelan grabbed it and raise his brow, asking what it was for.

"After some thought, I realized Young Master Luo is worth more than a few thousand yuan after all."

Luo Zhelan laughed once again, mirth dancing in his eyes, making Jiang Yue raise the corner of her mouth also.

Never in his life would he though he'd receive someone's card for him to spend on, not to mention it was a girl.

He accepted it and said with a grin, "I'm flattered. Then I'll keep it Young Madam Jiang." Jiang Yue simply rolled her eyes with what he called her.

"Don't be too happy, there's just a few thousands there."

"Still makes me happy that Young Madam Jiang is willing to spend a few thousand on me." Jiang Yue didn't respond but by this time anyone could see that her eyes were smiling, making her eyes look more charming.

They spent a few minutes more in the private room, just talking about some random things.

By around 9 pm they went out.

The two men bid goodbye at the three.

Luo Zhelan drove them back at the school's dorm, stopping at their gate.

Jiang Xiu was just gonna thank him when she saw his expression. Knowing that he has something to say to her sister, she said, "Then I'll go first, thank you Young Master Luo!"

He nodded his head at her, then went out to open the door at Jiang Yue's side.

"I'll be going back to the capital. I'll come back to oversee your Father's transfer with you this weekend."

Jiang Yue nodded.

When she noticed that he doesn't have anything to say anymore but is keeping her from leaving, she raised her brow and teased, "What? Young Master Luo can't bear to leave anymore?"

Luo Zhelan raised the corned of his lips, "You haven't told me the passcode. How am I supposed to spend it?" He raised the card that was on his hand.

"It's five 9s."

"That's quite unpredictable. A repeated number of you sisters' birthday." He said with a tone that was a bit sarcastic.

"Young Master Luo investigated me?" Jiang Yue asked, her eyes a bit narrowing.

Although she isn't that bothered since there isn't that much information that can be found when she is investigated. However, if she really got investigated, anyone can find that she is the owner of Allico Intelligence.

The company was under her name and Diang Ning knows her identity.

For now, she doesn't want anyone to know about this certain matter.

With that question, Luo Zhelan explained since he can see from the girl's reaction that she is a bit against the idea of him investigating her, "I saw it on your Identity Card. However, I do run a background check on anyone I talk to with business, and background investigation to anyone I will be working with for a long time."

Then his playful expression was gone and he added with a serious tone, "Does Miss Jiang does not want to be investigated? I won't if you don't want me to."

She nodded, "We are indeed going to work together for a long period of time."

However Luo Zhelan suddenly said, "That's not what I meant."

She looked bad at him, quite curious what he meant by that. "I'll be with you for a long time but it isn't just for work."

Her eyes narrowed, "What do you mean Young Master Luo?"

"Miss Jiang is smart. I think you know what I mean and you've already perceived it, but I'll say it just to make it clear." Luo Zhelan stared at her with the most serious expression she had seen from him.

From the night they had met, he had always looked at her with playful eyes or preying eyes, she could fell it and at those times, she simply brushed it off.

She though that it was just 'interest', and it would end at that.

It will eventually fade off or he will forget about it and they would continue with their collaboration.

She understood the importance of this collaboration to him, therefore she knew what he was doing now was something he had carefully considered before acting on and not just something he thought of on a whim.

Luo Zhelan is a researcher and a businessman, nothing is more important to him than research and profits.

And this collaboration can bring those two to him more than anyone could think of.

Yet he's willing to risk it all.
