Exterminatus.

Now that Alexander was sitting on his Command throne,  Trypticon spoke to him directly. 

'Master, shall I synchronize my senses to you?' 

'Go right ahead.'

Instantly he felt the connection form between him and the living machine. With that, he could see what Trypticon saw, heard, and felt as well. This would allow him to plan what the next course of action was going to be. 

He tapped his armored claws on the right armrests of his throne as he thought about it. 

"Tell me, Falbium, what is the Devil Law on treason?" 

Falbium without hesitation answered. 

"Death." 

A grin appeared on his armor's helmet and his own face as well. 

"What is the closest city of the Sallos clan." 

"Sarealru. It's a city with a population of 650,000." 

Ferrus who was standing near his Command Throne spoke up. The large armored man turned to Alexander and gave his input. 

"The Sallos choose their side, My Lord. The side that opposes you, so I say we Exterminatus the city." 

Lena calmly agreed with her brother while she leaned on the side of his Command Throne. 

"I second that Great Wolf." 

Isabel who was standing on his left shoulder turned and gently spoke into his ear. 

"I agree with my siblings Master. 650,000 Devils are potential soldiers so rather than risking the lives of your machines, or your allies, wiping out the city in one strike will be for the best. And their souls will greatly benefit you and your army." 

He hummed as he thought about that. Ingrid meanwhile was not nearly as bloodthirsty as Alexander's special forces. 

"Alexander, I get that being ruthless will bring about the greatest results, but before you commit to something as drastic as Exterminatus, offer the city the chance to surrender." 

He thought about it from a purely analytical standpoint. What would bring HIM, the most benefit? Giving the city the chance to surrender would rob him of the chance of harvesting over half a million Devil Souls. 

Souls that would go into his machines which were fully loyal towards him while Devils were not. They had their own agendas and plans that did not align with his vision. But, he would do them that kindness. 

"Alright, I will offer them one chance to surrender, if they refuse it, we will proceed with the Exterminatus." 

Ingrid was fine with that. 

"That is perfectly fine. We just can't seem heartless so giving the option to surrender is more than enough." 

Grayfia was unfamiliar with the term, but the word Exterminatus sounded a lot like exterminate. 

"You plan to wipe out the city." 

He nodded. 

"If they rejected my offer of surrender, the city will be subjected to Exterminatus." 

Grayfia kept her cool, but she was actually seething. 

"Alexander, the people are just civilians. Killing them for the choices of their leaders is wrong." 

Ragnarok who was relaxing at his friend's side raised his head at her words. He began to snarl as she was going against Alexander. He did not like that. As for Alexander, he was about to respond, but Azazel beat him to it. 

"Does that matter?" 

Grayfia paused at this as she looked at him. 

"Does that matter? Of course, it matters, we are talking about 650,000 innocent lives here." 

Falbium gave his input. He closed his eyes as he made the call. 

"Grayfia Lucifuge, they broke in section and dragged Devil kind into a second Civil War, offering them a chance at salvation is more than they deserve. As one of the 4 Devil Kings, I will enforce our Laws. No matter how much they may go against what I personally feel." 

Grayfia stayed silent this time as she knew that as the standing Asmodeus, Falbium's word was law. She looked down at the floor feeling a bit sick. She felt like she had eaten something foul. So many lives were about to be lost and there was nothing she could do. All she could do was hope they took Alexander's offer of salvation. 

She looked up at Alexander who was calmly holding his sword in his left hand while his right tapped his armrest calmly. Ferrus, Lena, Ragnarok, and even Ingrid seemed unaffected by what was about to transpire. 

If anything, other than Ingrid, the rest seemed quite eager about what would happen. She kept quiet and waited. Before they truly set off, Alexander connected to Ravage who was down below. He changed his mind about walking. 

'Ravage. Transform and wait to be picked up by Trypticon.'

'Got it.' 

Down below, Ravage began to shift his form before he became a giant mobile fortress with a ludicrous amount of weapons. Trypticon began to hover down above Ravage before from Trypticon's hull several powerful magnets locked Ravage before he was lifted up.

Once Ravage was firmly secured, Trypticon prepared to advance. His thrusters burst with explosions of Dark Od causing purplish-red fire to belch from his engines. Instantly the giant ship blasted forward into Sallos territory. 

Everyone heard Trypticon's voice on the ship. 

"We shall arrive in exactly 5 minutes." 

Alexander relaxed into his throne as he closed his eyes to wait. 

"Stop outside the city. Ravage will be dropped just outside the city while you will fly just above the city. I want you to give my demands to the city." 

Both Ravage and Trypticon responded as one. 

"As you command." 

Azazel rested his chin on his knuckle as he looked outside at the land below. 

"Ok, you got to let me study you, big guy. I want to see if I can't make a ship of my own."

Trypticon thought about it before he agreed. 

"If Lord Alexander says it's fine." 

Alexander nodded. 

"As I said, don't damage or hurt Trypticon so go ahead." 

Azazel was already excited. 

"Of course. And it seems we are here." 

Trypticon stopped about a mile from Sarealru. Here, Trypticon unhooked Ravage who dropped down and caused the ground to quake. Grayfia gazed at the city of Sarealru and hoped they took Alexander's place. 

If she could pray, she would. Instead, she just closed her eyes and looked down as Trypticon flew higher into the sky over the city. The Devils of Sarealru were already looking up at the massive warship that bloated out the fake sun in the sky. 

Trypticon's bellowing voice boomed through the city. 

"Devils of Sarealru. I am Trypticon, and I am offering you a single chance at surrender. You have 1 minute to respond." 

Everyone waited with bated breath before Alexander and Trypticon got their answer soon after. From the biggest building in the city, a large magic circle powered on before a massive Siege Spell of Glacial magic was hurled against Trypticon. 

The massive Biomachine activated his Void Shields which were now powered by Alexander's Divine Energy and Dark Od. The magic was blocked by those shields and rendered inert after a few tense seconds. 

Grayfia slumped down as she heard Trypticon speak. 

"Weapon systems locked and primed. You chose wrong, Devils." 

Alexander stood up and walked toward the viewing port. His senses were still linked with Trypticon, but he wanted to see with his own eyes.  Ravage a mile away aimed his many weapon placements at the city while Trypticon did the same. 

"We are ready." 

Alexander's helm retreated to reveal his lupine face. Isabel sat on his shoulder as she waited for the light show. 

"Commence Exterminatus." 

Trypticon began the Exterminatus hail fire of Cyclonic torpedos that slammed into the city with massive explosions. Every time one of the giant reddish purple shells slammed into the city, huge mushroom clouds of red and purple lit up. 

Meanwhile, Ravage began to rain down heavy fire with his heavy Annihilator cannons which exploded in bright ionozing rays of red and purple. His main rail gun placements pelted every building with frightening accuracy bringing them down. 

  From the viewing deck, everyone watched as the city of Sarealru began to be reduced to rubble. From his sides, Trypticon began to fire cluster munitions, heavy Lascannon fire, Ruinator Bombs, Cracker Bombs, and deadly shells containing Dark Od Gas. 

Now that Alexander had reached the state of a god, Dark Od the perfect mixture of Dark Energon, Od, and Divine Energy fueled all his machines. Those corrupting energies would kill any that survived the initial Exterminatus. 

While the shelling continued Alexander watched as countless lives were snuffed out by his machines. Azazel walked toward him and looked out at the city where the explosion continued. 

He watched as the city's guards began to fly up to attack Trypticon, but they were shot out of the sky by the many weapon batteries placed all over the War Ship. These included Duel Lascannons, Mega Bolters, Phaze Fire Space Ripper Gatling Guns, and even the Heldrakes which detached from his hull to defend Trypticon himself. 

"Ok, High Tech with magic will trump anything it seems." 

Alexander looked down at Azazel who was left in both morbid awe and fascination at the scene unfolding. 

"I know. This is why, I am invested so heavily into creating the perfect machines to give life to." 

Falbium refused to look away from the scene as he had chosen this. He had made the call, but he would never regret it. He would remember it and keep it with him until the day he died. As for Grayfia, she looked away from the scene of the Exterminatus. 

'If Alexander plans to expand into the stars, scenes like this will happen more often won't they?' 

She looked at his giant back as he calmly gazed at the destruction Ravage and Trypticon caused. He raised his hand when the entire city had been mostly reduced to rubble. 

Colorful fires burned all over the city as the Dark Od began to spread its corrupting energies. 

"Trypticon. No survivors." 

Trupticon began to fly higher in the sky to avoid what he was about to unleash. Ravage began to retreat using his tank treads to get as far as he could. Once Trypticon felt he was at a good height, his hull began to open. 

The hanging Heldrakes crawled to the top of him to get out of the way. He lowered down a large weapon which aimed down at the city. 

"Charging Doomsday Cannon." 

Trypticon began to funnel his energy into the weapon in question which hummed to life. 

"10%. 20%. 30%. 40%. 50%. 60%. 70%. 80%. 90%. 100%" 

"Fire." 

A bright red and purple laser of great size blasted downward and hit the rubble of Sarealru with the force of several atomic bombs. The Doomsday cannon powered down after a full minute of discharging its energy. 

Trypticon spoke after his weapon powered down. 

"Exterminatus Accomplished." 

"Bring us down." 

Knowing what his master wanted, he descended until they were over the now crater of the former city. He opened the viewing deck for his master. Alexander raised his right hand and began to draw the souls of the Devils toward himself. He extended the Dark Star Saber forward with his left which caused the stream of souls to split. 

Half began to enter the sword while the other entered into the Berserker Armor. Everyone observed as he collected the souls of the dead Devils which would later be used to make more machines or to fuel any ritual he needed. 

When he completed this, Alexander looked at the massive glowing crater where the city used to be. 

"Alright. Trypticon I want you to land. Release every machine we have on hand, I will deal with the corrupting energies. I want to make this a fortress in 2 weeks at most. Let's get to it." 

With that, he jumped out of the viewing deck before being quickly followed by Ragnarok, Lena, Ferrus, and Ingrid. Everyone else just wanted to take a while to take in what they had just watched. Where a bustling city had once been teaming with life now was nothing more than a crater. 

They had one thing to say about Alexander and his machines. Terrifying in some cases, as for Azazel, just awesome.
