6 The Baby Bears

After the bear collapsed I quickly started consuming it. I decided to use it's eyes cause one of my own was pierced by a spike so it's totally useless now.

'Sigh...I have no battle experience,no weapons other than my own body,on top of that this stupid bear caused spikes to rise out of the earth. How the hell am I supposed to deal with that…?'

Even though I quickly regathered after I was pierced by the spikes and it seems like they didn't affect me they still managed to wreck a few pieces of my body.

From this fight I can see that my greatest weakness right now is a lack of information and the second is well...I have no weapons to deal with these beasts.

I am going to encounter beasts like these again cause...I am literally in some forest right now.

I need to get a base of operations as soon as possible and from there I need to start collecting information.

While I was thinking of my next steps my body was having trouble with consuming one of the bears organs.

Now that I look at it I'm not really sure whether it actually is an organ cause it looks like a brownish round core. I took it out and consumed it but no matter what I do I can't digest this piece of core.

This thing was beside the bears heart and I'm guessing this is what it used to make those spikes but there's no real proof or anything so...well for now I'll just keep it in my body since it doesn't seem to be harmful to me.

After 'keeping' the core I quickly consumed the bears body leaving the eyes both of which I quickly took over.

Now I have three eyes which means I can look in front with two eyes and behind me with the other one.

After finishing my 'meal' I decided to start exploring the forest. I decided to go in the direction from which the bear came from but now I that think about it...it's night time.

I can't really see the sky cause of the trees but since I'm a slime who cares so I continued travelling.

After travelling for a while I reached a cave. It's probably that bears cave. Maybe the reason it attacked me was to mark its territory but I guess this area is my territory from now on.

I couldn't see inside cause its night time right now so I created two sub bodies and sent them inside.I decided to not give them one of the eyes cause it's dark in there anyways.

After travelling for a metre or so they encountered another bear. Instead of directly provoking it I urged one of my sub bodies to quickly rush towards its head.

It was about to reach the head but suddenly the bear woke up but it was too late

the sub body entered it's nose and killed it.

Before I start to eat it I decided to check out the cave and quickly found three other creatures. They're three baby earth bears. I quickly urged one of my sub bodies to bring the three of them out.

The three bears woke up but my sub body quickly restrained them.

As I looked at them two of them looked the same as the first earth bear but the third one was a bit different. It had red flaming patterns. On top of that its body temperature was higher than the other bears.

'Hmm...why is this one different than the other two?...maybe it's cause of the bear in the cave. I haven't seen that one now have I'

I made both sub bodies bring the mother bear out and this one also had red flaming patterns as well but they were pretty faint unlike the baby bear in front of me.

Now...should I kill these baby bears or not?
